Vacation rentals in Tehkummah

The Bruce peninsula is beautiful area. This clean family friendly home is lovely. My daughter and I were in the area visiting family and needed a place to rest at night. We did not have enough time to partake of the selection of board games, books and movies that were available in the house. Our stay was during the off season in March and we brought our own linens and towels. We enjoyed a meal at Tobermory Brewing Company this time out and in the summers, Little Tub Bakery has the best croissants. We were a little chilly the first night, but we will chalk that up to user error. The instructions regarding the upstairs baseboards could be a little more clear. My understanding now is that the upstairs baseboard temperatures should be set to the desired temp and then the wall thermostat should be set 1 degree above that to activate. Upon leaving the home, set the upstairs baseboards to 15C/~60F and the wall thermostat to 10C.

We had a memorable staying at Grotto Getaway. The communication with Don and Pauline were smooth and prompt, making the booking process hassle-free. Upon arrival, Don provided us a warm welcome and given a thorough tour of the property. The RV was beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. A side note, my son had an online test due 6pm the day we checked out, but we need over 4 hours to drive home. Don and Pauline let us stayed in their patio after checked out. Asked a few times if the internet is okay? Laptop is fully charged? To ensure my son successfully submitted the online test...... Instead of rushing home to complete the online test, we ended up got an extra half day to visit Sauble Beach on the way home just because of Don & Pauline's help. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. Thank you for such a memorable short road trip for our 15 anniversary! :)

We were in town for my Uncles funeral and had a very busy schedule, Christopher was an excellent host and very helpful. The house was exactly what we needed and an excellent value. I couldn't imagine a better place to stay in our situation and we will be defiantly be trying to book here every time we are in town.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and clean. Very cozy on a cold winters night! Irene is lovely and responds right away. I definitely recommend this place.

A great rustic get away. Just be mindful of the garbage you bring as you will need to deal with it at the end of your stay. The view is very pretty in the mornings 🌅 My husband and I got a lot of use out of the firepit and enjoyed being surrounded by the forest! Location is convenient to visit tobermory, Lions Head and Devil Monument!

Perfect spot for a perfect family weekend. We had everything we needed right down to beach towels, matches and firewood. The sunsets and views are great. Do pack water shoes for the rocky beach and area attractions but most everything else is available at the cottage! Little current, Mindemoya, hiking trails and bridal veil falls were all a short driving distance. Monique was very helpful. Her personal touches for our stay made it that much more special.

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in. The location, the amenities, the surroundings - everything was near perfect. The host, Matt, was the icing on the cake. He was extremely helpful, easy to communicate with and was always looking out to ensure we had a good time at the property. This is pretty close to Tobermory and Lion’s Head lookout, has bikes and kayaks available and the kitchen has all the amenities. Would love to visit again!
