Vacation home accommodations in Te Ika-a-Māui / North Island

We had an excellent stay with no issues. Debbie and Peter were great hosts - we were out at the motor racing during the day and we came back to a laid fire ready to go. Very easy communication and such a hassle free place to stay for a large group. Ideal for a large group of people if you want to just stay a bit out of the main Rotorua and Taupo destinations - close enough to go for dinner, relaxing and quiet otherwise. Would definitely look at staying again for future events in Taupo and Rotorua.

Great location over looking Lake Taupo. Close to restaurants and shops. Ideal spot from which to explore the area. The house is well equipped and as described. Vicky is very responsive host. We would recommend this place and we would stay again.

Fantastic venue in Tairua, so close to the shops and eustary, we'll be staying again, and the house is fitted with everything you need to make your stay fantastic.

We had a lovely stay. Beautiful setting. Loved the updated bathroom although rest of the unit had the Kiwi bach feel. Washing machine was helpful to have in the unit.

Awesome Kiwi Bach as described - heaps of outdoor space for the kids to rip in. Hosts were really accommodating around check-in / easy to communicate with. The 12pm check out made moving out a lot less hectic too - a real bonus. Thanks for having us.

Susan’s place was absolutely perfect for us. The location and beautiful, peaceful gardens surrounding the apartment were just stunning. We had the most amazing time and plenty of much needed rest. Thank you so much Susan. We have recommended Nikau apartments to all our friends and family.

Had everything we needed, close trot to the beach with tide pools to look at the starfish. Kids had a great time. Fantastic beaches within a half hour drive or less.

Lovely place to stay at, Great views. We left our iPods in the place and Jill emailed me to say we had left them there, we had just returned our hire car so she drove into Picton about 5 kilometres to return them to me. This is what makes a great host.

We had the most relaxing wonderful stay. Loved the setting and easy walk along the stream to the ocean. The house is gorgeous. The decorating ideas and detail are awesome. We will be back!

Anna was extremely responsive to all my questions in advance of arriving. We checked in with no problems, the directions were perfect. Anna had left the apartment full of freshly cut flowers, which was really appreciated. The kitchen had exactly what we needed to make some food after a tough day of wine tours. The garden is lovely and catches the sun beautifully in the evening. The house pets made themselves known and were great to have coming to say hi. Would recommend staying if you're in the area!

Great small house in a great location. Even though it was close to the main road…it was quiet. The house is comfortable and has everything you require. Caitlin was great communicating….i would recommend this airbnb.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at number 66. The place was very well equipped for the size of the placce. The bonus for us was the fold out bed in the lounge which gave each of our teenafe sons their own space.Friendly neighbour and goid location

Great place to use if you are a business working in the area and you need to accommodate a team of workers. The property had all that was needed for our staff to feel at home and cater for themselves. Really good option for a larger team. Ebony was a great communicator as a host and gave great instructions that were easy to follow. Highly recommend this property.

The apartment was brilliant, the location one street up from the beach so good. the unit had everything, coffee machines, hot plate , huge microwave convection oven and all the usual suspects. loads of parking on the grass verge, and beautiful view. Linen was good, a million pillows and blankets and even beach towels. games etc Our only tiny gripes were it looked at little bigger in the photos, with beds etc suitable for six except it didn't have dining or lounge seating for 6. We borrowed a chair from family nearby and worked it out but it was quite small, and there was only three staying and the dogs. So just a note if you are six people, it is quite small space. Dog friendly but it would have been nice to have a small out door area fenced so we could have let the girls (doggos) out to pee on their own, but this wasn't a problem really except for the dog with the shy bladder... hahah so thank you so much Linda and Judy for a friendly and great getaway to the far north.

I booked super last minute (3 hours before check in) and Nicole was super accommodating and the place was ready and amazing when I arrived. Nicole popped down and welcomed me to the property and we had a lovely chat, she’s an awesome host. She was also kind enough to facilitate a later check out as I had a few important work calls to take throughout the morning. The place is equipped with everything you need and super spacious and open considering its size. The wardrobe storage and bedroom are great and the deck out the front is so lovely and private but still super open and light. The property is so close to the beach and some awesome restaurants and takeaway spots I could happily live there! I will definitely be booking again next time I’m in Auckland. Thank you Nicole :)

We stayed at Brents place while visiting Napier for three nights. Our stay exceeded expectations. The view was to die for, the place was spacious and comfortable, as well as completely private. Great amenities and lovely small touches from the hosts (coffee, washing liquid etc.). The jacuzzi was absolutely lovely in the cooler evenings which was waiting for us all hot on arrival 😀. Highly recommend this home and hosts, would definitely be top on list when in Napier again!

This is such a lovely place to stay. They've got a beautiful home with a really nice back yard. Lots of windows, beautiful space. One of my favourite places I've stayed in a while. There's quick access to Hamilton's cycle network - the paths are 100m from the front door. major big thumbs up.
