Vacation home accommodations in Te Ika-a-Māui / North Island

We had an excellent stay with no issues. Debbie and Peter were great hosts - we were out at the motor racing during the day and we came back to a laid fire ready to go. Very easy communication and such a hassle free place to stay for a large group. Ideal for a large group of people if you want to just stay a bit out of the main Rotorua and Taupo destinations - close enough to go for dinner, relaxing and quiet otherwise. Would definitely look at staying again for future events in Taupo and Rotorua.

Our stay in this duplex at Lake Taupo was one of the best we have ever experienced. The duplex was very clean, modern & well appointed. The ground floor had a spacious lounge, kitchen and dining area with a powder room. There was a large terrace off the lounge room, with table & chair chairs, offering fantastic views over Lake Taupo. The bedrooms upstairs were a good size & having the two bathrooms was great. The bed linen & towels were of a very high-quality. The kitchen was the best kitchen of any apartment we have been to with an abundance of glassware, crockery, cooking utensils, linen cloths & a very well stocked pantry. There was parking in the secure garage for two cars which was great as we were two couples on this visit. The location of the duplex was fantastic as it was right on the lake front & just a few minutes walk into the main shopping hub area where all the cafes, restaurants and bars were located. I cannot urge strongly enough how wonderful this duplex was.

Fantastic venue in Tairua, so close to the shops and eustary, we'll be staying again, and the house is fitted with everything you need to make your stay fantastic.

Awesome Kiwi Bach as described - heaps of outdoor space for the kids to rip in. Hosts were really accommodating around check-in / easy to communicate with. The 12pm check out made moving out a lot less hectic too - a real bonus. Thanks for having us.

Susan’s place was absolutely perfect for us. The location and beautiful, peaceful gardens surrounding the apartment were just stunning. We had the most amazing time and plenty of much needed rest. Thank you so much Susan. We have recommended Nikau apartments to all our friends and family.

Awesome little cottage out in nature, the outdoor shower and bath were a highlight! Super affordable and a great experience. Would highly reccomend.

The deck is epic!! Great location. Easy walk around the corner to beach and cafe. Quiet street. Lovely back yard. We really enjoyed our stay.

10/10 my family of 5 were absolutely spoiled this long weekend. The house was evenly spaced, my 3 kids were able to retreat to their own quarters if they needed it. Hubby and I enjoyed the view of the pool while watching our kids enjoy it. Was so warm! The outdoor shower was a hit, we just showered there as the 5 days we stayed was so sunny/hot weather. The shops were a short 2 mins down the road and the restaurants were 2 mins the other directions, we had pizza one night and Mean burger another night with the Four Square literally right there. Beach and the view 😍👌🏽 we loved our time at the beach! Clear skies and warm day. Thank you for your beautiful home for my family and I to enjoy. Memories banked forever!

One of our best stays so far! The studio is spacious, stylish and comfortable. Anna’s fresh flowers from the garden, and Matt’s wine tasting suggestions added to a great personal experience.

Great place to use if you are a business working in the area and you need to accommodate a team of workers. The property had all that was needed for our staff to feel at home and cater for themselves. Really good option for a larger team. Ebony was a great communicator as a host and gave great instructions that were easy to follow. Highly recommend this property.

The apartment was brilliant, the location one street up from the beach so good. the unit had everything, coffee machines, hot plate , huge microwave convection oven and all the usual suspects. loads of parking on the grass verge, and beautiful view. Linen was good, a million pillows and blankets and even beach towels. games etc Our only tiny gripes were it looked at little bigger in the photos, with beds etc suitable for six except it didn't have dining or lounge seating for 6. We borrowed a chair from family nearby and worked it out but it was quite small, and there was only three staying and the dogs. So just a note if you are six people, it is quite small space. Dog friendly but it would have been nice to have a small out door area fenced so we could have let the girls (doggos) out to pee on their own, but this wasn't a problem really except for the dog with the shy bladder... hahah so thank you so much Linda and Judy for a friendly and great getaway to the far north.

me and my friends really enjoyed our stay.. the fireplace was a huge bonus as the night there was kind of cold. also they have a smart TV good for movies

Nicole’s place was perfect for our weekend in Auckland. Everything was spotless and the big windows felt like we were right outside but completely private. Brownie points for everything smelling amazing 😍

We stayed at Brents place while visiting Napier for three nights. Our stay exceeded expectations. The view was to die for, the place was spacious and comfortable, as well as completely private. Great amenities and lovely small touches from the hosts (coffee, washing liquid etc.). The jacuzzi was absolutely lovely in the cooler evenings which was waiting for us all hot on arrival 😀. Highly recommend this home and hosts, would definitely be top on list when in Napier again!

This is such a lovely place to stay. They've got a beautiful home with a really nice back yard. Lots of windows, beautiful space. One of my favourite places I've stayed in a while. There's quick access to Hamilton's cycle network - the paths are 100m from the front door. major big thumbs up.
