Apartment vacation rentals in Taupō

Amazing apartment 5 minutes walk from the bars and restaurants at the lakeside. Incredibly spacious, every possible amenity (including a cinema room), good quality furniture and equipment and a huge garage with direct access from the apartment. I would recommend without hesitation.

The apartment was even larger than I expected it to be. The kitchen was stocked with lots of pots and pans and utensils. The linens were quite comfortable. Everything about the place was excellent and as described! The view is very good, and the breeze at night was great. It's a little outside of town, which is great if you want quiet and peace, but it is a 10 to 15 minute drive down the hill. To me it was worth the drive to have such a nice place.

Close to everything by car yet far from the busy town. Great base for a day trip to so many locations and activities. Didn't get a chance to try the restaurant a 2 minute walk away but it seemed busy from open to close (kinda speaks to the quality). Appeared to be popular and liked by the locals. Next to the restaurant is a very well stocked convenience store. Great location and cozy apartment.

The patio and garden are wonderful. Lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. There is no air conditioning but it cooled off at night. Screens on the bedroom windows would be a nice addition. Would definitely stay here again.

Pamela was absolutely lovely, and her house was immaculate, comfortable, and in a beautiful position overlooking the marina. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom well equipped and immaculate, and the garden was an absolute joy for sitting in. We would highly recommend Pamela’s house; it is easily the loveliest of all the places we have stayed on our trip to NZ.

Jo has a beautiful set up in Turangi. Felt very comfortable and at home. Our stay was in studio 2, which was rather spacious and the set-up was very aesthetically pleasing, beautiful colours. The bed was very big and super comfortable, me and my partner had the best sleep:) overall such a lovely place to stay, and Jo was so lovely and quick to respond✨

We loved our stay in Taupo at the Lake House! The place was beautiful, great location, and very clean. It very comfortably held a full family and the kitchen was great with all amenities needed to cook as well. The hosts were very responsive and the instructions were also clear as to how to access the location etc. Great to be right opposite a large grocery store and also be within comfortable walking distance to local cafes and the lake. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful modern and clean apartment conveniently located providing privacy and all day sun. The aircon came in handy too. Very well equipped kitchen including condiments, gladwrap etc and various cooking and serveware. Laundry facilities were also well equipped including a laundry basket, pegs and clothes line. Also included board games which the kids loved. Pool was perfect for the summer heat. Beds, blankets and pillows were very comfortable. We will definitely be back.

Annette is absolutely the best host! such close attention to detail, and left special treats all over the place for us! it's a beautifully curated space with a very special energy! clean and fresh luxurious!

We had a wee hiccup receiving all of the instructions, but Paul and his neighbours were quick to take action and help us out. When received the info was super helpful including recommendations that we utilised (thanks!). Great location, we stayed with a small dog and could walk her in to the main city and lakeside. There was also a little area to take a lake dip 1 min walk to the wharf. Dog loved it. Private, good ammenities, great house to stay as a couple visiting Taupo for the first time.

This is the second time my family and I have stayed here. The location is super ideal. We would stay here again. Belinda is very proactive and a great communicator :)

Amazing hosts! Felt welcomed into this peaceful, private & serene bush / lake environment. Waking to the choir of Tui's and Fantails was a highlight! Studio apartment was well appointed and spacious. Modern space, clean, scrumptious linen and super comfortable bed. Would definitely return and highly recommend to all other travellers. Thankyou!

This was such a great place and had incredible views of the river. The area was so serene and quiet. The apartment was nicely decorated and the shower is hot and powerful! WiFi was strong and there’s ample parking spaces. I would definitely stay here again!!

we absolutely loved our stay. The location is perfect, walking distance to Two Mile Bay and town with the lake on your doorstep. The apartment is very spacious and has everything you need including a great bbq. The shared pool and spa are excellent. We will be back as often as possible.

Very clean and recently refurbished. Nice furniture and quiet, considering how close it is to a main road. Very comfortable stay.

Amy was an excellent host! She was very responsive and gave great suggestions for things to do in the area. She was also very accommodating and the unit was amazing! Overall had a great time!

We loved our 12 day stay and didn't want to leave. Spacious rooms, high ceilings, heated bathroom floors, adequate kitchen, bifold doors opening into lovely private courtyard gardens and then there is the panoramic view of the lake. Oh and the delux spa!! What a treat. Luxurious accomodation. Value plus! We will be back.

We were there to support friends doing the Ironman. The place was perfect!! Walking distance to the swim and transition area, and the marathon course came past us on both sides, so very handy for popping out to cheer our friends on, but then returning to relax in cool comfort in between. A very large clean and comfortable apartment, that we loved. Great water pressure in the shower; comfortable beds. Easy parking and access, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, or to stay again.
