Vacation rentals with a firepit in Tangipahoa Parish

We found this place in a hurry as my dad had gotten really sick and eventually passed while we were there. The space felt like home. It was inviting and comforting. In a great location to the interstate and downtown but it was quiet. The fenced in yard was perfect for my service dog to run around in and when it was warm, a great place to sit outside and enjoy it. Loved having coffee on the porch. Highly recommend

Stayed for two nights during a visit to Nola for Mardi Gras. The place is conveniently located off the highway and away from the city noise. Check in was super easy, the place was spotless and the host was very thoughtful to leave snacks for us after a long road trip. I recommend it to anyone who loves a quiet and cozy RV experience!

Absolutely beautiful a perfect place to relax

Location was amazing we walked to the local shops and restaurants. The backyard was perfect with the privacy fence. The house was very clean we would definitely stay here again! Make sure and buy a flat of the local strawberries they were amazing!

A+++ This place was absolutely perfect for our visit and felt incredibly cozy. It had every amenity and kitchen utensil we could have possibly needed, which made cooking our meals so convenient and enjoyable. The sound of the frogs croaking at night from the nearby pond added a peaceful, serene touch, helping us relax and sleep soundly. If I ever find myself in Franklinton again, this will definitely be my go-to place to stay! An added bonus: As someone coming from a big city, we were pleasantly surprised by the lack of light pollution, which gave us the perfect opportunity to stargaze for three nights by the fire on the porch. A truly memorable experience!

My team and I stayed here for Mardi Gras weekend. The price was perfect and the Airbnb exceeded our expectations. It was the perfect place to act as a homebase for sleeping and doing some light cooking while we explored New Orleans. I cannot exaggerate how great of a host Mildred is. She was extremely accommodating to the team and is the reason we were able to have this trip at all. We ran late for check out and she adjusted the time no questions asked. This airbnb is about an hour from the city and close to other, small beautiful towns. From here, we drove to the lakefront, the city, and local restaurants. We went on a jog in the morning, and the neighborhood was safe and lovely. We had no hesitations about leaving our equipment in the van or airbnb. There is also a small fire pit we used, and the host made sure there was some wood available without us asking. The dishwasher was a great help. We slept great. This is a top-tier place to stay for a small group! I cannot say enough!

Our 4th time to stay on the property. It is beautiful. We love the country setting and the way it is so quiet and peaceful. Roomy and comfortable for my large family. We have never been disappointed and always want to stay longer……..
