Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Tamarindo Beach Costa Rica

This was our first time in Costa Rica and our first family vacation with our 3 and 5 year old boys. We are so incredibly happy with this unit! Will was so helpful and kind to us. We flew later in the evening and he was able to stock a few items in the fridge for us when we arrived, that way the boys could eat breakfast when they were up at 6am the next morning. He also provided us with brand new beach toys, our one son took a particular liking to the big sand shovel! There were other pool toys that were also available that we used. We rented a golf cart and it was so easy to get everywhere, especially to the beach (we also drove to Ocotal which he suggested) and back and forth from the pool. The beds were so comfortable and the whole unit was beautifully clean when we arrived, it felt very welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised to see swan towels :) the sunset view from the unit was also stunning! We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone visiting. Thanks so much Will!

The place had everything we needed for our 6 days. It looks like the photos and did not disappoint. You definitely need to have a car or rent a golf cart to get around the area but it’s easy access to the beach club and to playa Avellanas if you do. We cooked a few nights and the kitchen was fully equipped for us. And we really enjoyed the community pool - it was a hidden oasis.

We had an excellent vacation, staying in Peninsula 18, a condo full of light, amenities, spacious and equipped with comfortable furniture, very safe parking lot, close to the beach and with a pool. The attention was always very constant, I felt very well attended.

Place was brand new, the view of the marina and mountains was gorgeous. Very spacious with a nice balcony.

If you’re looking for a slice of peaceful paradise you’ve found it here. Beautiful surroundings great views. We loved eating out on one of our two private patios. We throughly enjoyed our stay thank you!

Gabriela was so amazing. While I have been super fortunate to travelled many places, it’s always been for work. This was my first actual vacation since 1993. And, it was everything I could ever imagined. Everything was very centrally located. Not too far from the action in Tamerindo, but close enough everything you want is walking distance. The beach is a five minute walk away. The unit was amazing, spotlessly clean, and did I say how amazing Gabriela was : )

This place is soo beautiful. Get ready to have the ocean just in front of you all day long. Just by sitting in this living room while looking at the ocean, you will be able to get so much peace and rest. Chris and Nadia are sooo friendly. Always looking to make you feel right at home.

We liked the complex which offers privacy despite the proximity to the city. It's great because everything is within walking distance! Grocery store, several good restaurants, sports bars, beach! We enjoyed the pool of the complex as well. I would highly recommend this apartment in Playa Del Coco! The host offered us great references!

We loved staying at this location, it had everything that could be offered for a comfortable beach stay. Three people slept very comfortably. The staff of the property were very accommodating and went the extra mile.

We absolutely loved Patrick’s place! It was everything we hoped for and more. We felt right at home and safe at all times. Everything is extremely walkable - the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. Patrick was easy to communicate with, and very quick to respond to any and every question we had. Thank you so much, Patrick! We were also amazed by every detail that was thought of, to make sure we had the best possible stay (kitchen supplies, beach chairs, grocery bags, picnic bag- you name it)! We hope to be back in the very near future!

Perfect location inside massive gated community with all the amenities needed for a beauty Costa Rica getaway. Hiking trails, brilliant beach, nature abound . Howler monkeys everyday to see and hear, natures paradise. Nice spacious condo unit.

This vacation was a dream! Kalle’s beautiful place made it even better! The views from the balconies were beautiful. The place was clean and well equipped! Kitchen had everything you needed to cook up a meal. Beach is a 5 min walk and a 10 min walk to all kinds of restaurants, markets, boutiques! The pool and BBQ area were perfect! It was nice to have three bedrooms with three bathrooms, we all had our own space! I had a lot of questions about excursions, transportation..etc Kalle answered every one of them within 5 min! I couldn’t think of one thing we needed that wasn’t there! Just amazing! Thank you Kalle for a great week in the most perfect spot in Tamarindo!!

Daphne's place was perfect four our family of six and we loved our stay! The condo was in great condition and we took advantage of the full kitchen to prepare some breakfasts and lunches so we didn't have to eat our every meal. The clubhouse and pool were conveniently located just next door to the building and our kids loved swimming and we enjoyed the beautiful views over the golf course. It was also so nice having the amenities of Reserva Conchal available - we swam at the beach club, used the kayaks in the ocean, and worked out in the gym - all were convenient and fun. And to top it off, Daphne was a fantastic host. Her communications for check-in and check-out were helpful and clear and she provided us with a great guidebook of local activities and attractions to help make our stay more enjoyable. We really couldn't recommend her or her place higher!

Awesome location, responsive host, we really enjoyed our stay! The pools and Pina Shack on property offered great options, there were restaurants and supermarkets close by, and the beach club made for an awesome afternoon. Great value!

We were 4 couples and stayed for 9 nights. Everything was absolutely perfect! The kitchen and living space layout was ideal for a party of 8. We had a private chef for one night - highly recommend! We also rented 2 golf carts to get back and forth to the beach. We did walk a couple times, but the carts were great. Our host (Yira) was amazing. Any questions or local recommendations we had she responded to immediately. Housekeeping was also an addes bonus. I would highly recommend this house for your next stay in Tamarindo!

Great place with great views!

This was the most absolutely stunning most beautiful stay. Everything about the places we perfect. We loved how private yet together the three rooms were. We loved the beach club and used it everyday with the most beautiful beach access and pool and beach chairs/towels and paddle boarding as well. Everything was so peaceful, clean, and perfect. We’ve stayed a lot of Airbnb’s around the world, this is by far the best. Everything about it is worth it. We couldn’t recommend more and hope to come back one night.

Vista Ocotal is a beautiful and relaxing getaway. Very comfortable and spacious place, with all the amenities we needed. Short walk to a lovely pool and fantastic beach, and restaurant. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony watching the parakeets, iguanas, and monkeys. The hosts were always super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this tropical oasis!

This house was perfect for our two families. Lots of space, very private. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We loved the mini golf, ping pong and the pool too. We also used the beach club which was fantastic. Jessi was responsive and very helpful. We would 100% rent this house again

We absolutely loved our stay! The view was breathtaking, especially from the patio, where we enjoyed our mornings and evenings. The pool was a standout feature—overlooking everything and making for the most relaxing experience. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Highly recommend for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

Out family couldnt say enough great things about the host and the home. They went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Our 7 member adult family had plenty to do, great recommendations from the host. Extra accommodations when asked. House was beautiful and clean. We engaged them throughout the trip and we felt like VIPs on the complex. I highly recommend this host and property. We are looking forward to a return trip in the near future!!

Everything in the house was in perfect working order. There was plenty of space for four of us. Comfy beds; great showers; kitchen extremely well provisioned. Our favorite room was the large screened in porch. The lush surroundings make it a very private experience. Pool was great to and very convenient. Property manager helpful and very responsive; easy to work with.
