Vacation rentals in Tam O'Shanter

We spent Christmas holidays in Mel's beautiful house. Fantastic location-- beach front, a minute walk to cafes and bar and near the boat ramp. Everyone love the pool! Will definitely come back next time around.

We've been travelling around Australia for 3 months and feel this was our favorite place to stay in all of our time here. The home was stunning. Very comfortable and private, it was all you could ask for and more. It was a mere 185 steps to the beach (it was right across the street!) and just a few blocks away on the same street were some amazing restaurants, cafes and shops. They were easily accessible but far enough away that you couldn't hear any music or noise. In fact, the only thing we could hear from the house was the wind blowing through the trees or birds chirping. The home was stunning, modern, pristine and Deborah was a fantastic host. It really couldn't have been better and it was difficult to leave.

This was our second Easter trip to Linda’s place and the house was even better than we remembered it. Our group was 4 adults and 5 kids, and the house still felt like it had plenty of room. The view from the balcony is amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough. Planning to book again for next Easter.

Peaceful, private, cozy stay with stunning surroundings. We loved the easy check in, gorgeous rural views & private creek. It also poured down rain which added to the serenity as we relaxed listening to the sound of rain hitting the tin deck roof. We came here for a Valentine’s Day couples getaway and got everything we wanted. As we left we said to each other we’ll definitely be back.

Beautiful rainforest setting with lawns leading to a creek with forest to the top of a 400m mountain sometimes lost in the clouds. Lots of birds including a cassowary. Kangaroos grazing in a roo paradise. Short drive to a long pristine beach. Rainforest creek swimming on the property and deeper water 10 mins by car. Very comfortable and well equipped. Caitlin and Martin were friendly and kind.

Trina was a great host - clear, friendly and helpful instructions. The place was pristinely clean, a very comfortable bed and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend staying here again! Thanks Trina

This was our second stay at this beautiful holiday home. The pool overlooking the ocean is as wonderful as it looks in the pics and the outdoor undercover area is great when you have had too much sun or it is rainy. The little touches are what really adds to our stay- small things that mean a lot to us (olive oil to cook with, cold filtered water in the fridge and ice ready to use, beach towels, a lovely shiraz to drink or take home and the list goes on). We had to reschedule from a booking in the early part of the year due to a potential cyclone/tropical low that may have affected the region. Julie and Steve responded with flexibility and empathy to our request which was a relief. Thanks again for a great stay!
