Waterfront vacation rentals in Swansea

I was initially baffled by the pics of instructions to get the keys but once you’re there it makes complete sense. Parking was very handy and we never struggled to get a space. The apartment was small but perfectly formed! Amazing views over the marina. Location is perfect - 30 seconds to the beach, 10 minutes into town. Very handy Co-op open late downstairs and restaurants and bars within walking distance. Bed was super comfy. Would love to stay again if we’re in this area.

Really beautiful place to stay with incredible views. Ian offered up some gorgeous recommendations for where to eat like the lovely ‘on the rocks’ restaurant just over the headland. The cove location is super peaceful and quiet, with only a few more people around on the weekend than during the week. There are coastal walks in every direction, and so many beaches to choose from. We even went for a freezing cold dip in the sea which is seconds away from the flat. Overall we had the most rejuvenating little staycation imaginable. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

Phoebe and James were great hosts, easy to talk to and very responsive. The apartment is beautiful with lovely open lounge and kitchen areas. As I have mobility issues, having everything on one level made it really relaxing and easy to get around including having a lift to use . The views are fantastic and we hope to stay again in the future.

Gorgeous apartment, with absolutely stunning views over Swansea bay. Everything you need, easy parking and great central position so that you don’t really need the car anyway. Wayne was there to meet us and was really friendly and welcoming. The sofa is super comfortable and a great place to watch the weather change by the minute over the bay! I am Swansea born and bred and it was a wonderful base to visit my family and friends in style. Would highly recommend.

This was our second stay at Michelle's place and we found the flat to be as lovely as the first time. The check in instructions were clear and we found the parking spot with no trouble. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. We also appreciated the lovely welsh cakes Michelle had left out for us. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

We had a lovely stay despite storm Burt! Nice walk on the beach, fantastic meal at St Elli brasserie and we enjoyed the carnival. Great spot for a getaway

Helen and Jonathan were great hosts with helpful clear communication at all times. The location is great with easy access to the beach front and coastal path including the lovely cafe and ice cream kiosk only 2 minutes walk away. The apartment is beautifully furnished and equipped and very clean. Highly recommended and we will be back for future visits. Thank you Steve

Johnathan was a very responsive host. The property was ideal for our larger family. The property is situated a stones throw away from the most beautiful beach. The rooms are clean, light and airy. All bathrooms were equipped with soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Johnathon even gave us a late check out on the Sunday morning because of the weather which was very much appreciated

Fantastic restful place to stay with great views. The hot tub was v roomy . It was our favourite way to start and end the day. Lovely to watch the sheep, goats and horses roaming outside. Highly recommend Britannia Inn with friendly locals and excellent food.

More than great, big spacious house, comfortable and clean. Perfect for a big family, decorated for christmas time, which was an amazing touch. Big balcony on top floor with chairs to sit and admire the view of the sea.

Stayed here for a long weekend with some family. Everyone really enjoyed the house and the separate bathrooms for each bedroom. Nice big table in the kitchen for eating meals together, really close to restaurants for when you don't want to cook. There were toys at the house that the children really enjoyed. The property is well stocked with the household essentials. Ivy was really communicative and helpful. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Mumbles.

The view from the deck alone is worth the 5 stars. Only had a night and our last minute booking wasn’t a problem for Anwen who was very responsive and helpful. Had a great meal and a warm welcome in the bar at 3 rivers hotel 5 minutes down the road. We walked the estuary at low tide - watch out for muddy sections. Also walked up the hill above the hotel for even more stunning views from the top.

My family and I stayed at Seabank post Xmas. The cottage is exceptionally clean and Janine has gone to a lot of trouble in ensuring the cottage has everything a family could want. Janine went out of our way to find us vegan cafes and restaurants locally and had a delicious meal at award winning The Warren. She also provided us with many vegan goodies for our arrival, which was gratefully received. I most loved the view. Every day I sat at one of the Juliette windows watching the estuary. Beautiful. East walks on the beach, by literally crossing the road! Thank you for such a peaceful stay. We’d very much like to stay again.

Beautiful house in a stunning location with amazing views over the estuary. We stayed as a group of old school-friends and decided to spoil ourselves by having a bedroom each! The kitchen/dinner/living room is great as it keeps the group together when someone is preparing food. The conservatory was also lovely when someone needed time out. It's ideally located in the centre of Laugharne village, really close to the amenities. Most of the group were able to arrive by public transport, although there was plenty of space in the car park had more of us travelled by car. Loved all the Welsh art on the walls and touches like the Eisteddfod chair in one of the bedrooms. The portholes in the bedroom doors in the attic were quirky too. The only suggestion would be to sort the key lock as it was jammed! Diolch yn fawr for a memorable stay. We would definiely recommend to other large groups.

Great location a minute's walk from the sandy beach. Good bedrooms and dining area. Good space for chilling - big sofa & chairs & TV. Mostly well equipped and working with the kitchen and bathrooms - it worked pretty well for us as a group of 4 friends cooking in & driving out to Swansea coast & the Brecon Beacons (Four Falls waterfall trail is 40mins' drive).

A lovely place to stay in Mumbles, newly renovated, very clean and spacious. Ideal for a short break it had everything we needed. Great communication. Beautiful view over Swansea Bay from the kitchen/living area.

We had such a lovely stay at Mumblesescape. The apartment is modern, spacious, warm and in a perfect location - close to restaurants, shops and the coastal walk. The dog loved it and so did my boys. Having a hot tub was the icing on the cake! Thank you for a lovely stay, we’ll definitely be back!

Really good location and lovely flat with a great view of the marina

A great apartment in an even better location. Right on the coastal path and Loughor estuary the views are amazing and change completely with the weather and times of day. We spent one night on the balcony watching the stars and some meteors and the next watching a distant storm. Make sure to pack some binoculars. The apartment is clean and comfortable with all necessary amenities and then some. A great kitchen, lounge and bathrooms. The three floors up might be challenging for some, I had a moon boot on during our stay, took a while to get up but the stairs are nicely spaced. it's a great place to go and chill and a great base to visit local attractions or to just wander down to the beach. Would for sure go back again. especially when I can walk more(at all 😂)

A great place with new beautiful surroundings. Had a small issue with the washing machine but the owner was quick to respond and solved the issue. It was a pleasant stay.

Great apartment and location with fabulous views. Host was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Well appointed kitchen too and the balcony was a nice addition too. The car parking space was thankfully a large one.
