House vacation rentals in Sussex County

A city dog's dream! Our two dogs had a great time running around within the large, fenced yard. The yard has several different areas for them to explore, from a lightly wooded area to bushes to an open field. It's quiet and peaceful, with birds in the yard and deer nearby. The kitchen is spacious and makes it easy to cook, and the pantry is well-stocked. The electric water kettle is very convenient. The living room sofa and TV are great, as is the soundbar. The Peloton bike is a nice bonus, and has pedals for both normal and clip-in shoes. A few things we encountered if you stay here: During the winter, it took a while for this large home to heat up, so we kept our winter jackets on for the first day. The stairs up to the second floor weren't the easiest for our dogs; there's also no door separating the master bathroom from the bedroom.

Tommy’s place was the prefect weekend getaway for 4 small families with kids a dogs. The entrance to the place is very private and the house itself it’s huge! Pictures don’t make it justice. Living room is very spacious, enough rooms and bathrooms for everybody and a lot of towels! and the kitchen was furnished with everything we may need. Our favorite part of course was the deck with the grill and the heated pool! Tommy was very responsive with any question we had! Excellent place might look into booking it for another family trip!

Yevgeniy was extremely responsive and proactive during our stay. All instructions were clear and easy to follow. The house has a very comfortable feel to it and can easily accommodate bigger groups. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back if we’re visiting the area!!

We had a great stay. The house is spacious which is perfect for large group, especially when traveling with kids. There was an issue with the hot tub which was resolved immediately by Home Sweet Hudson. I highly recommend this place to others. We will surely come back!

Another wonderful stay at Marcela’s place for my family. We always feel right at home each time we visit and have a great time with all of the fun amenities. For adults, teens, and pets, we all love coming back to Marcela’s.

Highly recommend Susan's place if youre planning on going skiing at mountain creek! It was only 10 minutes away from the ski resort and after a long day at the slope, the best way to melt yourself down is with the hottub! Susan was great, very responsive and kind!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The home was spotless and beautifully decorated, making it feel warm and inviting. The thoughtful touches from the host truly stood out—there were so many items in the house that made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. From all kinds of kitchen supplies even syrup and other ingredients you might not have thought of to cook with, it was clear that the host really cares about her guests. Our family had a wonderful time, and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful winter weekend stay here with our toddler. The hosts left out toys that were perfect for our kiddo and kept her entertained all weekend. The space is comfortable and kitchen well-equipped. We would definitely come back again, winter or summer!

It was a lovely place - exactly like the photos! Plenty of room and very peaceful.

Overall, we had a great stay here- the house and setting are beautiful. I should note that there was an unexpected opening in the upstairs bedroom, where there should be a small window (or enclosed wall), but it was just open to the downstairs. This is a safety hazard for children, and also made every noise downstairs audible in the bedroom (and is not noted in the listing information). Aside from this issue, the house was peaceful, perfect for gathering and relaxing, and beautiful.

Krystyn was very responsive with any questions that we had. The place is beautiful and very peaceful. We didn't need to text Krystyn once during our stay there because anything we needed was provided. Our family had an amazing and very relaxing weekend. We would definitely come back here again.

Izzy and Joe's home is exactly that- not a house, a home. Located on a peaceful lake, it was serene (Especially the sunroom!) Very clean. And wow- impeccably decorated. Most people don't decorate their homes so beautifully, but if they do, it's usually not an AirBNB. It didn't matter where you sat something caught your attention, and in my humble opinion books make a home and they have a beautiful collection. We had a few family members over for dinner one night and I loved the little things that ended up being talking points, like the chicken that overlooks the kitchen, we all had a different story in our head about this chicken. The quirky plates for dessert, my kids liked them so much- but so did my dad and uncle! Aside from the lovely views, and beautiful decor, and comfortable beds, Joe and Izzy were proactive communicators, offered us early check in, gave clear instructions for coming and checking out, and were always available. Highly recommend a stay here!

Shariq was very flexible and accommodating with my group's needs. We were looking for a place to spend New Year together with friends. We needed a place where folks could co-work, and still socialize. The house was perfect, in that we could split into smaller groups to do our own thing, the toddler could take naps in a separate room without disruption, and the surroundings were beautiful. I would like to return when the weather is nice and I can actually take advantage of the beautiful lake right in the back yard!

Beautiful property and surroundings. Lots to do - fishing, kayaking, birding, local restaurants. So peaceful - an amazing place to relax.

Zach’s house was clean, spacious and as pictured—a great place to stay. The bedrooms were a good size & the beds were comfy. The common areas and basement were a bit chilly in January, but overall, we had a great time. The house had plenty of activities to keep us entertained and it was a perfect spot to celebrate my mom’s 60th!

Beautiful home, very spacious, clean and felt like home the moment we walked in. Host was very welcoming, checked in on our stay to make sure we had a comfortable time there. Overall it exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Great Airbnb and great host. Upon walk in, the house was ready and clean. We had a warm welcome with a note and some goodies. The house had everything we needed. The rooms were clean and organized, providing a towel for each person. The bathrooms were fully stocked and clean as well. The kitchen had all the essentials for cooking, feeding and cleaning up after 10 people. For entertainment - the game room, TV w/ great sound, jacuzzi, lake and sunroom with the projector came in handy! The sunroom projector area also had a TON of games! This Airbnb had everything we needed to entertain 10 people during the weekend. I truly have not experienced an Airbnb simple but unique like this. I plan on coming back this summer to utilize the lake gear, porch stuff and hopefully bring the kids to use the indoor and outdoor play area! Thank you Lisa for your kindness and hospitality!
