Waterfront vacation rentals in Sunshine Coast Regional District

This is a great location if you have a car. You can do many daytrips easily. There are no street lights and you can really appreciate the night sky along with the beautiful ever changing ocean views. The neighbourhood is quiet. There are a lot of interesting paths to the beach for the sure footed. When the tide is out you can explore. There is a good restaurant within walking distance on the quiet road. A good choice for a peaceful quiet stay when you need a break from your otherwise busy world. There is a full flight of stairs in the unit which might be a problem for some who prefer one level.

Matt's place was perfect for our family of 4 and provided a convenient base location for our 5-day vacation on Vancouver Island. The unit is located within a resort-like community, with waterfront walking paths and some amenities. We didn't get chance to try these amenities as we were always out gallivanting and exploring the island during the day. The huge windows lookout onto the bay which offers a nice view to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. I can recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice and cozy island retreat.

Exceeded our expectations! Beautiful location with the ocean steps from the door, great for beach combing. Child friendly, very clean, private and quiet. We had everything we needed in the suite to make our stay feel like home and the bed was so comfortable! The amenities were great, we really enjoyed the pools and hot tub. There was even a coin dryer onsite near the gym for us to dry our suits for the next day. We didn’t want to leave this magical place. John and Kimberley were excellent hosts with great communication who ensured we had a wonderful stay.

Amazing location, quiet and peaceful resort. We loved the view from the suites. Our kids loved the pool and walking along the bay. Place is all set up for families. All in all a wonderful trip!

As advertised, John is also responsive and seems to care about the space.

John’s place was fantastic. Easy check-in and quick to answer any questions. My wife and I really appreciated the size of the condo and all the amenities. The fireplaces, jetted tub, comfortable king bed, well equipped kitchen and beautiful patio. We took advantage of the on-site amenities including the gym, pool, outdoor hot tub, trails and restaurant. Our stay was awesome and John made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this gem of a condo in beautiful Nanoose Bay.

Meredith’s place is amazing! We absolutely loved our time here. The unit and view are unreal. Everything was very clean and well kept. Meredith was very friendly and easy to communicate with. We were traveling with our 2.5 year old and Meredith has a pack n play and a baby gate in the unit for use which was very handy. Cannot wait to stay again!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! We had the best time staying at Barb’s place. The house was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything you could possibly need. The space is extremely private to the point that you almost feel you are on your own private island. The lake is crystal clear and the surroundings are picturesque! We all felt completely at home during our stay and will most definitely be back again!!

We loved our stay at the Float house! The surroundings were so beautiful and quiet. The house is very spacious and true to the photos. The kitchen is well equipped making meal prep easy. We loved sitting in the hot tub and watching the seals swim past. We would definitely book again!

Our stay at Ashley’s place was absolutely amazing—everything was exactly as advertised! The view was breathtaking, visible from every room in the house, and we found ourselves mesmerized by its beauty throughout our stay. The location is fantastic, conveniently close to the ferry terminal and just a quick 10-minute drive from downtown. It made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. What truly set this experience apart was Ashley’s attention to every little detail. From the thoughtful notes she left to guide us to the impeccable cleanliness and stunning decor, it was clear how much care and effort she puts into ensuring her guests feel at home. My family fell so in love with the place that we joked about moving in permanently! Thank you, Ashley, for such a memorable stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing stay in an absolutely gorgeous location! The hosts were incredibly responsive and just lovely people overall. The spaces felt private and views were unbeatable. Sauna was the cherry on top. We will certainly be back!

Loved this accommodation! Beautiful location. Quiet and spacious. Everything was exactly as described. Our host was responsive and took the time to check in on us once we were settled .Would stay here again.

We spent 4 days with our children and grandchildren. We had a wonderful stay. The views are spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the rooftop patio. The beach is a 30 second walk and it was very convenient to walk down with the grandchildren. It is a lovely beach and so easy to walk back to the house if you need anything. The house is well equipped and has beach accessories, lots of beach chairs, beach towels and beach umbrellas. Location is very convenient, one minute from ferry and 5 minute drive to Gibsons. There are great hikes close by and lovely breweries close by. Aaron was very helpful and responded immediately to any questions we had. We had a great family getaway.

Truly a special place! Beautiful accommodations, only outshone by the beauty of it's surrounding. This stunning beach house is the perfect blend of modern luxury and coastal charm. The panoramic ocean views are breathtaking, easy to enjoy in any weather with large windows and multiple decks. The accommodations are top-notch, providing everything you need for a comfortable stay—great climate control, extra equipped kitchen (including a Britta filter) and a lux, well stocked bathroom. Beach access is just stairs away, making it easy to enjoy swimming, or simply relaxing by the water. Also the construction in the area was never a nuisance and there's so much to do just a short drive away! The hosts are wonderful and you can tell they take pride and put so much love into this very special place. This is the spot for a perfect getaway for anyone seeking a peaceful coastal retreat, that's close to many amenities and activities.

We had a great stay at Nicole’s place. The pool/hot tub/park are right outside the door which was so convenient for us with our two little ones. Host was very friendly and responsive, I would book again.

Lilian was fantastic as a host. Great communicator with suggestions and helpful tips for a smooth arrival and places to go. The place was fantastic. The location was great for what we wanted, quiet, right on the beach, hot tub, nice views from the deck and from inside. Great indoor space with comfy sitting areas and lots of sleeping options. The outdoor hot tub was fantastic!!!!! Absolute highlight of the trip! Its a little out of the way for using the amenities of downtown (wandering the shops and hitting restaurants). Didnt bother us at all. We will be back for sure!!!

The Strand out of Pacific Shores Resort was perfect for my little family. The space is very modern & cozy. We utilized all the amenities such as the indoor & outdoor hot tubs, sauna, outdoor children’s heated pool in the winter, indoor swimming pool, spa and restaurant. Jenn & Nikki were amazing hosts super friendly & responsive. We felt so at home in their space. I was pregnant through our stay and enjoyed taking baths in the soaker tub with the fire place on. We took walks each day along the ocean and up into the estuary. One day we walked right to Rathtrevor Beach & stopped for lunch at Tigh-Nah-Mara Resort. I plan to return with my family in the future hopefully for years to come. This place holds its own magic and is great for island folks looking for a staycation. Our little one enjoyed the beach and playground. We enjoyed being close to Nanaimo, but far enough away you can take in the stars at night and listen to the ocean without the sounds of the city.

The apartment had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was well labelled and Andrea even had “kid” dishes so it suited us perfectly. There is a dishwasher which was great:. The place was tidy and clean. We had meals outside and enjoyed the view from the patio. The kids enjoyed the small outdoor pool which was heated. There is access to a marina from the property but no beach. Andrea was very communicative and responsive. She answered questions about the unit when needed and was helpful to provide local recommendations for beaches and things to do. We arrived late at night in the pitch dark but Andrea’s instructions to find the unit were helpful and much needed as there were no signs indicating any unit numbers that we could see. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend Andrea’s apartment to anyone exploring Halfmoon Bay!

Great and peaceful space, nice and quiet in October. Kids friendly 🤸🏻‍♀️amazing facilities at the resort too. Lovely bedrooms. Awesome view of the creek and tides. We can't wait to return again!

It was a nice stay. We enjoyed the hot tub & sauna. We also enjoyed the view from the balcony.

This was our second stay at an Airbnb in Nanoose Bay at the Pacific Shores resorts. Chelsea's place was top of the line. As described, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed and more. Comfortable for the 6 of us who stayed. We loved the location and lay out of the condo, and loved being able to utilize the resort amenities as well. We hope and plan to stay here again next year and for many more to come!
