This cottage is a hidden gem on Vashon Island. Elizabeth is an attentive host and made my stay memorable. It was wonderful surprise to have the kitchen stocked with organic eggs, butter, coffee creamer, jams, yogurt, fresh fruit, a variety of coffees and teas. Making daily breakfast was a breeze and yummy. The cottage has peek a boo view of Mount Rainier and Cascade mountains. You may be lucky in having a deer or two stop by or see an eagle or pelican fly by. The location is minutes from the quaint downtown area and centrally located to other parts of the island. Bedrooms are cozy. Bathroom is generously stocked with towels and a variety of shampoos. There was also body lotion since I forgot to bring mine! Living room has comfy chairs and sturdy table to eat at or use as a work surface. It came in handy for a project I was working on. There’s even a grand piano. I highly recommend staying here. I’m already planning my next trip and staying here! Thank you Elizabeth!

You truly won’t find a more responsive and helpful host. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, felt comfortable and at home. The location is beautiful and is just like the pictures. The home had everything we needed, including extra phone chargers for those who forgot them. We had 8 adult women for a “girls getaway” and it was the right size for us. Plenty of room to be together and places to relax in smaller groups or have a rest away from the group. The view and the reviews are what made us reserve this home and we weren’t disappointed. Now it’s your turn to enjoy!

Gorgeous views! Beautiful property and house! My sister-in-law came to the PNW to celebrate her early retirement. This space was perfect for us! She was comfortable in the upstairs bedroom and I slept like a baby on the sofa bed. The kitchen was well stocked for big breakfasts, we didn't cook dinner here though there was a grill and more than enough in the kitchen to help with that- we chose to eat out each night after days of exploring national parks and Seattle, etc. The house is stocked with the necessary towels, laundry needs, and hot hot water for ending the day in the comfort of a hot shower. This place is perfect for a girl's trip, family trip, or couples trip! There were kayaks to use and a perfectly placed hot tub to enjoy the view... we just chose to spend our days exploring but would have loved more time for some "stay on the property relaxation." This place serves both itineraries! Book it!! Thanks, Lisa!

We really enjoyed Rebecca’s place. The view is incredible and the home is very clean and cozy. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house but the beds were very comfortable and linens were very clean. We had everything we needed for the one meal we did cook at the house. We would stay here again!

Such a charming home! We loved it! Traveled with three small kids who loved kayaking, fishing, throwing rocks in the water, running down the big hill to the water, the books in the kids reading nook and exploring the local parks/beaches. It’s very quiet, no road noise. Amazing view of mt. Rainer on a clear day and expansive views from almost all rooms. It’s an old house from the 1930s with a lot of the original old house charm but modern amenities have been updated to make it comfortable. Cathy was very kind and responsive. Thank you!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Anchor Down Inn. The home exceeded expectations, such beautiful views and a comfy, clean and spacious home. The balloons, cake, and flowers for a birthday were such a thoughtful and sweet gesture. We were greeted with a friendly note, wine, and snacks. The hot tub was wonderful and the surprise visit of Seals our first morning was incredible. Rachel was very responsive and helpful if I had any questions, and even let us check in early the day of our arrival. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a private getaway. We will definitely be back!

Sites were even better than pictured. Host was super friendly, accommodating, and communicated well. We stayed on a sold out night but didn’t feel like that at all - I don’t think we saw another guest the whole night. App was also very informative, would definitely stay again.

Naili was an excellent host. Very responsive to all questions and inquiries. Very accommodating to me and my family and made our family Thanksgiving get together a reality with her beautiful home. The home is extremely gorgeous and very well kept with beautiful views and very peaceful. Everything was as advertised. I highly recommend staying at Nali’s house.
