Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Summerville

We had a great stay for my son's engagement weekend! There was plenty of space for our party of 8 people. Location was great too, only 1.5 miles from Shem Creek and shopping.

Our stay was amazing! The house was very clean and homey. It was the perfect distance to go really anywhere (Downtown Charleston, Sullivans island). Our hosts made our stay and check-in super easy and were extremely accommodating and responsive. Would highly recommend!

Deborah responded immediately to all my questions. Her home is clean and very well stocked with all your needs. The yard was perfect for our dogs who love a place to run and explore. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Charleston and the beaches!

We enjoyed our stay so much! This Airbnb was about a 20 minute drive from Downtown Charleston and the perfect location for our group :)

Great host! 6 of us stayed at the airbnb and it was spacious, clean and we felt right at home. Super easy to community. Close to shopping, food and activities. We will deff stay here again.

We loved our time at April’s place. April was very responsive and made sure that we had everything that we needed for our stay prior to our check in. The house was perfect for a big group - clean with big bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty of space to hang out in inside and an incredible backyard and pool area. It wasn’t very hot out, so the heated pool was perfect! Great location with a quick easy walk to the downtown area and beach. Highly recommend!

There were 5 of us for a Bachelorette Party and this home was everything we needed! Great location, 20 minutes from Downtown Charleston, and it had everything we needed. Comfy living space, plenty of room, comfy beds, and plenty of extra linen. It was easy to find in a nice, quiet neighborhood.

I stayed here with an infant and a toddler for a long weekend… It was great! Great location that was walkable to King Street and different restaurants. Super helpful that the host had a pack and play available for use as well as a washer/dryer. The only thing I would know is that the included parking space is a bit tight and we had a larger SUV so it was hard getting the kids in and out… But not a problem parking there and if you had a smaller car it would be totally fine. I highly recommend for a Charleston weekend!

Really enjoyed staying at Ashley’s place. Location is great! We really liked how it was tucked away from the street but you’re still just steps away from shops and restaurants.

Christopher was very responsive and courteous. Communication was fantastic! The accommodation was spacious and clean, and stocked with everything we could have thought of, from coffe/filters, to tape, to scissors!

This property was great and comfortable for a wedding weekend stay! We traveled with our infant and all the amenities provided made our stay easy and convenient. Jen was responsive and easy to work with. We will definitely stay again when we are back in Charleston!

We had a great time staying here and loved the neighborhood. So close to King St and all of its restaurants and bars. Still within walking distance of the old city. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was beautiful and very peaceful! It was close to some of my favorite places in Charleston. Jenny was very kind and responsive and I will definitely book here again!

Historic home in walking distance of restaurants, cafe, shops and more. Fascinating history of the house is told in a folder in the living room. On the same street as a great bagel cafe and a super restaurant, with many more just a little bit further. House was spotless and everything worked.

Perfect location, Anna was so responsive and helpful! Place was clean and we felt safe. A bit loud at night but that is to be expected and the sound machines helped :) would stay here again!

We originally booked Chris's place because he was the only listing with a first floor bedroom and walk in shower attached to it. That was the most important feature I was looking for to accommodate my elderly father so kudos to Chris for having this feature, there aren't many out there. The minute we crossed the threshold I immediately felt at ease. The home is warm and inviting, it felt as if I was going into a home I was familiar with. We were there for a wedding so unfortunately we did not get to spend a whole lot of time inside there but when we were there we had everything we needed. The community is really nice and very quiet. The area has many stores, restaurants and take out close by and if you want to go into Charleston it's not far at all and you get to drive over the most spectacular bridge to get there. I definitely would recommend Chris's place to any of my family or friends without hesitation. Book this gem, you won't regret it.

We stayed for a month and were very comfortable. We love the location, access to the beach, but we also were close enough to driving into Charleston several days a week. Condo was perfect, we could walk to the resort restaurants or bike rental. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed.

We had at great stay at Charlie’s place! Loved the keyless entry. The condo was very nicely decorated-NOT the usual beat up furniture you often see at a rental. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom a nice size. The kitchen and living room very nice. We enjoyed sitting on the screened balcony overlooking the marsh in the evenings. The location of the condo is excellent. In fact it’s very close to a bakery/restaurant that has amazing pastries. Charlie is an excellent host. He responded very quickly to messages.

This condo is the perfect escape. The beach is just steps away and could see from the porch. The size is perfect for one or two people. The bed was incredibly comfortable! Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

The layout of this condo was perfect for my friend and I to enjoy a girls weekend while attending an event hosted at Wild Dunes. The condo was very clean and comfortable and was easy to get to. Check -in and out was very simple. We hope to enjoy this space next year as well!

Craig’s place is absolutely wonderful! It has everything you need and even more! We felt right at home and honestly didn’t want to leave 😁 The location is quiet and very close to everything you need while in Charleston. If you need a place to stay in Charleston, look no further!

This is a nice place right on the beach. The place was clean with plenty of space for the 6 of us. There are shops across the street, bars and restaurants a couple doors down, and a grocery store just a few minutes by car. John was responsive and let us get in a little early after we made better time traveling than expected.
