Mari's place is 15-20 minutes away by car from Alesund, it is extremely spacious and very beautiful. The kitchen and bathrooms (3 toilets and 2 bathrooms) have all the necessary amenities. It has a very large terrace and garden. Mari is very thoughtful and responsive, we communicated wonderfully with her. In conclusion, you feel at home. We would love to come back anytime. 🙂

Amazing home in an ideal location. Close to the best fjords and close to Alesund. I’ve been traveling Europe for a long time and never found a more kid friendly home. This place would be great for anyone, but it would be truly tragic to visit this area with children and miss out on this home. With the playground five steps out the front door and and so many toys and amenities for children it’s a no brainer. Daniel was the best host as well. I can’t wait to come back someday!

Small and Cute Loft. Even though it is a small unit, it was equipped with everything we needed. We even had enough space for our many suitcases. The place is quiet and peaceful. You could often see deers in the garden nearby.

Great stay in pleasant apartment We had very good time in this apartment The location was convenient and the check-in process was easy and smooth. Communication with the host was quick and clear, which we really appreciated. The apartment met expectations and was both cozy and functional. Staying in this charming house is a very remarkable experience. The views from the terrace and inside are breathtaking. The house is cozy, equipped with everything you may ever need for your stay. Check in and out is seamless. The surrounding area is beautiful, peaceful and private. The location is excellent to enjoy Alesund and the nearby attractions and fjords. We recently stayed at Terje’s charming farmhouse in Norway’s Hjørundfjord, and it was a special experience. The farmhouse blends old-world charm with modern amenities and offers breathtaking views of the fjord. The house is equipped with all modern comforts, including a well-stocked kitchen, fast Wi-Fi, a big-screen smart TV, an outdoor hot tub, and comfortable beds to accommodate a large group. Two ferry ports a short drive from the farmhouse offer free rides to Ålesund, the roadless village of Trandal, and other destinations. Terje was exceptionally hospitable, providing great recommendations for local hiking activities and promptly responding to all our inquiries. He went above and beyond to make our stay at the farmhouse exceptional. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and picturesque getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at the Ole’s place. It was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was very friendly and responded quickly, providing all the information we needed. The overall experience was smooth and pleasant. We truly recommend this place to others! ❤️

We had a nice stay at this lovely house. Well maintained and insulated. Beautiful outdoor space and the hot tub was nice! Small tip: put wood and/ or addresses where the wood is for sale for the first day. In the end, after a long search, we found it at a gas pump in Alesund.

We have been here before and will be back. Hosting is very welcoming, has lots of suggestions and tips and puts us in touch with other very talented people in the local environment. Ex ski guide which for us was "one of a kind". We enjoy ourselves from morning to evening and beautiful location is hardly found.

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon - everything from useful hiking suggestions, quick to bring us anything we needed, to a magical hotpot experience! We couldn't have asked for more out of our stay of from Venise and Gaby. The location was perfect for accessing the less known hiking spots but still with those spectacular views, as well as being close to the ferry so it was easy to hop over to Volda. It was peaceful and we loved the views over the water, and we made good use of the fireplace for cozy evenings. Don't be put off by the road near by, there is very infrequent cars so you hardly hear anything at all!

A beautiful spot tucked in one of the most stunning fjords. If there had been more snow, it would’ve been a backcountry skiers paradise. That being said we still found some great skiing not far from the house. Egil is an awesome host and I would love to come back and visit in the summer and again in the winter (hopefully with more snow). Worth a stay if you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful place to vacation.

Our stay at the cabin was perfect. The view is just stunning and the sauna and hot tub just adds to the overall vibe of that place. However, the cabin is on a hill with not the best access, but it was not a big issue for us, but if you're older or have some kind of physical disabilities, this cabin might not be the best fight, but Anders has multiple cabins to choose from :) I hope to visit again some time, it was definitely worth it!
