Waterfront vacation rentals in Sugar Mountain

Blin's place was spotless, comfortable and the view was stunning - Fall leaves were in full color while we were there. The bathrooms were spacious and clean - the water was hot with good pressure. The king bed in the master was supportive and comfortable. I heard no complaints about the bunk room beds the kids used. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, bowls and cooking utensils. All appliances worked well. It was muddy while we were there so we rolled up the light colored rugs so we didn't accidentally stain them. We had our dog with us and there was plenty of area for him to run and the streets were quiet for a walk along the road. There are steps all the way to the water which will be amazing for lake access in the summer. As it was cold while we were there and the lake was still recovering from Hurrican Helene, we did not get in the water. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Karen was helpful in sending recommendations and communication regarding the impact of Helene on the area. Always answered questions and put us at ease. The suite was beautiful and the amenities were nice and the views were great. Instructions were helpful. I would highly recommend this suite

Great location for Sugar Mountain! Couldn't ask for closer, walk right to the ticket counter and you're on the hills. Levi was very helpful throughout the entire process, from booking to checking in, to helping us find local shopping and recommendations during the stay. The house was more than spacious enough for our family and has 4 bathrooms! We will definitely be back. Would highly recommend!!

Jamie’s place was great! Right off the main road and about 15 minutes to App Ski Mountain. It’s surrounded by a ton of buildings but actually feels really secluded. The back porch and creek are a plus. Would stay here again!

I had a lovely two week stay at Eliber's listing. Everything was exactly as described. It is very close to downtown Burnsville and easy access to the main road but also quiet enough that deer were in the yard. Eliber was very responsive and answered any questions I had quickly.

Wonderful house and location

We had an amazing stay and thoroughly enjoyed the front yard for all day sledding! The house was spacious - perfect for our four families! Most importantly, the hosts were super friendly and responsive to any questions we had! We will definitely be back to enjoy the river in the summer!!

Y’all. This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. First, the setting is incredible. The mountains of western NC are beautiful, and the drive to Moss Creek is just that. But the actual lot is perfect, there is a creek that sounds straight out of a nature sounds app. We feel asleep to it each night, it was so relaxing. Sean and Crissy hit a home run, from the decor to the thoughtful toiletries, breakfast, comfy beds and bedding and pillows…that awesome bathtub! We would like to live there! Haha. Can’t wait to come back in August!

Another great Winter stay at Got Rocks! We’ve stayed here many times before and we’ve always enjoyed the proximity to the things we enjoy nearby such as skiing, wineries, groceries, restaurants, etc. there is lots of space to spread out, and everything we needed in the kitchen to make meals whenever we wanted. Thanks again Wesley for letting us use your place!

Extremely beautiful cabin and location. The view was amazing got to watch numerous deer feed in the field across the street from the balcony. Enjoyed listening to the river rushing by every day. Was able to experience snow the first day and even go to do a little sledding. Steve was very responsive to our questions and the cabin was peaceful and very clean. Great stay and will definitely be back in the future.

This is the most beautiful relaxing place I’ve ever been. If you want total relaxation this is the place to be, the house is very cozy and beautifully decorated.

We throughly enjoyed our stay! Loved how close the Ski lodge and lifts were. Loved having a bathroom in every room. The only thing that it needed was maybe a booklet of things to do and and instructions on place, some older ppl like a hard copy!!!

My stay at the 4BR Villa in Banner Elk was absolutely delightful! The villa was spacious, beautifully furnished, and offered all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. It was the perfect getaway spot for relaxation and enjoying the beauty of the mountains. Would highly recommend it for families or groups looking for a luxurious and peaceful retreat!

Loved this rustic creekside condo. It was beautiful inside and out. Everything you needed was there. The deck outside to relax and listen to the creek was so nice. We would definitely stay here again!
