Vacation rentals in Stratford

We chose Cullan’s property as it was close to a wedding venue nearby. We stayed 2 nights to be able to relax and enjoy the property amenities before the event. We did just that. While it was late in the season, (October) we were lucky to enjoy very temperate weather. It’s located out in the countryside, pastoral and lovely to walk the country roads. The host family was very friendly and accommodating.

Such a beautiful place to stay! I highly recommend this location for a peaceful, quiet weekend getaway. Made perfectly for a couple looking to get away and just be together. The scenery is beautiful, the owners are incredibly friendly and thoughtful to the experience, and don’t forget about the animals! We would definitely go back to spend another weekend here and recommend to everyone to give it a chance as well.

My extended family enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Niharika's lovely home. The view is peaceful and breathtaking--best enjoyed with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine on the expansive deck. There are many comfortable places for people to gather in the home to talk or play games together, making it the perfect place for my family to reconnect with each other. The house is amazing, exactly like the photos! The hosts were great with communication and provided a detailed document with instructions and recommendations, which I found incredible. My only note is that we were a group of 13 adults and 2 children, so we brought an air mattress to better accommodate everyone. It fit well in the basement bedroom, as we preferred not to sleep on the large sofa in the sunny room due to the lack of blinds. But everything about the stay was fantastic—I highly recommend this place!

Our holiday vacation at Luz’s place was great! We always love staying at Luz’s when we’re in Huron County. The price is very reasonable, love the quiet location, but close enough to restaurants. Place is always clean, and it’s a perfect spot for our little family.

This was an absolutely amazing experience. It was seamless from check in to check out. The place was very clean and we liked that the kitchen cupboards were clearly labeled, no opening 10 drawers to find a spoon. Sandra was quick to respond.

Gorgeous contemporary home with super comfy beds, great bathrooms and amazing kitchen. Highlight was the automatic coffee/espresso machine that makes amazing specialty coffee drinks (there is a drip maker for ordinary coffee) and 2 fresh bags of coffee for our use. Loved the livingroom sofa for TV watching, parking was super easy, very walkable neighborhood and grocery/restaurants within just a few minutes walk or drive. Google does send you down the street and does not seem to know exactly where the house is, and digital keypad was a little tricky (press the checkmark key BEFORE putting in the code), but Steve was very responsive and helpful. We loved our stay and can't wait to come back.
