Beachfront vacation rentals in Strängnäs Municipality

It was everything that is needed, a super cozy house with sauna and private beach. We have enjoyed our stay here, thank you and we would like to come back in the summer!

Ellenor's house is located outside the small village of Ekerö, just 40 minutes (approx.) by car to Stockholm (if you want, there is a nice boat from Ekerö that goes to the city centre). The house is clean, and has everything you need for a cozy stay: a well equipped kitchen, TV, Wi-Fi, a large deck terrace, a well kept garden, where our little dog Lina loved to run free. We were two couple of friends and we really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, the walks in the area (200m. there's the lake) and the dinners on the deck terrace. If you love Stockholm but you prefer to live in the nature not so far from the city, this is the place to stay. Ellenor is a good host and she is always available in case of need.

We had a very good stay for a week. The setting, sauna, and fireplace are what drew us to book. We were very comfortable and highly recommend staying here.

Me and a group of friends rented this cabin for a weekend and it was great. Beautiful location, great access to the lake for swimming and overall just a very nice place to hang out. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and really want you to have a great time. Bonus points for letting us use their SUPs and kayak. We totally want to come back another time!

We spent a relaxing week in Pia's house and enjoyed the tranquility and the great, large and well-kept garden. There were several seating groups, partly overlooking the lake. We also particularly enjoyed the access to the lake with private jetty and sauna. There was even the option to use a rowing boat. Pia was always available for us. The accommodation was easy to find and the check-in was flexible and straightforward. The house was equipped with everything necessary, very clean and cozy. The proximity to Stockholm was also great. There were regular train connections from Gnesta. You were there in 40 minutes. We can definitely recommend the place!

A very beautiful and quiet place next to a lake. The cabin had all the amenities one could want. Everything was spotless and perfect. The setup is beautiful and the location next to the lake just incredible. A supermarket is about 5 minutes away by car, so are restaurants. If you want to disconnect and relax, this is the place. Thanks once more for having us!!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Åsas beautiful cottage, which is located in a brilliant location. Åsa was very friendly, thorough and open, and everything went very all the way from booking, through check in, our stay and check out again. This place is truly a small gem, and Åsa is a very good host. Our warmest recommendations! :-)

Absolutely unbeatable location right by the sea! So beautiful, peaceful and quiet. With three kids who love to swim, the pool was the highlight. Well heated and right outside the door there were many, many hours of bathing. Just below the property, there is also a large jetty with a swimming ladder where we took several nice sea baths. A little further away, there is also a really nice little swimming area with playground, sandy beach and diving tower. We would love to come back again!

I booked this home for my in laws to stay for our wedding and they absolutely loved everything. My father in law even wanted to move in 😂

Beautiful house, in a fabulous location. When we arrived, the house was all lit up with Christmas lights - it felt really cosy, warm and inviting. Jani was there to meet us when we got there to show us around the house and the facilities (hot tub and saunas). As we were there for Christmas, we were delighted to see the kitchen had all the pots and pans needed, plus loads of serving dishes. It was perfect! It’s a beautiful house, and one which we look forward to visiting in the summer some year to make use of the swimming pool.

A great cottage in beautiful surroundings! We felt very comfortable and spent a very relaxing vacation. The two guest houses were of course great for our big children. I can absolutely recommend the cottage and would book again anytime.

Absolutly fantastic summerhouse, absolutly worth the price. Lovely house and very comfy inside, wild flower garden, fish right infront of the house, even crayfish traps and sauna:) we had the best time

So cozy accommodation! We stayed a few days enjoyed swimming from the jetty and fishing. In the evenings, it was so cozy to sit and look out over the lake at the wildlife as well as the cows in the pasture next door. The sauna was a real plus with a beautiful view of the lake. Nothing to complain about either the listing or the host Anna who was nice and helpful. In the house, there was everything you needed. Here you can relax and enjoy the tranquility. Would love to go back🙏🏻

Viktor and Beatriz’s place is absolutely magical. It’s welcoming, beautiful, has astounding surroundings. The lake swimming and small beach are incredible. Sitting out on their deck, eating dinner, lying in the hammock watching the sunset is pure magic.

Daniel and Annica’s summer house is a true gem, beautifully located on the island, with a private jetty for swimming, hammocks and multiple place to sit in the flower-drenched garden. The interior and exterior is nicely decorated. The view over the lake is amazing. Our kids loved the SUPs and toys available in the house. Good location for day trips to Stockholm, Strängnäs and Mariefred. Highly recommend this place.

Great place and location. Was calm and felt like in the middle of nowhere, yet close to the city. Would love to visit again!

We went there with my whole family ( 6 people and a baby). To be honest, it was a very nice place and extremely calm. You are in the middle of the nature. We had a small issue in the beginning with the bed sheets ( my fault) but Jacob solve it very fast. On average, a positive experience.

Lovely place, and the sauna is a huge plus.
