The house is beautifully located and Stockholm is very easy to reach by train in no time. Any queries were answered promptly. Next door was a construction site during our stay, but again the owners took great care that we were still able to enjoy our stay. Overall, this place is a real recommendation!

Matthias and his family have a great house and grounds. The area is very nice and has many great excursion options. We liked the immediate proximity to the archipelago, the Tyresta National Park and also took a tour to Stockholm. All in all highly recommended, we will be happy to come back!

Nice villa with lots to do with family. Super worth coming with the family for a nice relaxation from the city. Quiet and pleasant area. The villa matches the pictures and how it was described by the host. The pool and hot tub were everyone's favorite, would recommend to everyone and would love to come back. Super good place for barbecue and family fun in the evening. Generally everything was great. From the check in to stay and check out. Recommend!

Great friendly responsive host. Lovely house with everything you need. Close to tram and metro which makes trips into stockholm easy. We got snow which is what the children wanted. Seeing the deer and squirrels in the garden made our toddlers trip as he was convinced they were santas reindeer. Thankyou for hosting us. Only downside was the hot tub listed is actually a jacuzzi bath which was the main reason we booked this property. This was clarified too late to change our booking.

What a party to stay in Erik's house for a week. Optimal freedom and tranquility with a magnificent and wide view over the water. A wonderfully spacious house with a sitting room on two floors to relax and everywhere again and again that wonderful view and a spacious terrace everywhere. Only the bathrooms may have been a little outdated, but we knew that in advance because of the photos. But they were fine and the sauna was top notch. And also the location was convenient enough to the center of Stockholm. The bus stop is within 8 minutes walking distance (or you just park your car at the bus stop, as well as many commuters do, then catch the bus). With the City-mapper app, the use of public transport is very simple and you are always up-to-date with which buses or subways you can take the best. And just walking back from the center was also easy to do (as a nice sporty walk). Next time just this place again

A beautifully restored traditional home, sympathetically incorporating the home's history whilst providing all the modern amenities. Ample room for a family of four in the main house, though our teens loved the additional mini-home and described it as warm and cosy. The peaceful garden was perfect for star gazing and lazy breakfasts. A really tranquil location for exploring the area and Jacob's recommendations were top notch. Vaxholm is just 10mins away and Jacob recommended where to park, what to see and places to eat. Thank you Jacob and family for such a wonderful stay, we only wish we could have stayed longer.
