Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Stone Town

We stayed at Eta's Airbnb last year and came back again because we liked it so much!!! The A/C in the bedrooms is great, I love the location, the decor and little extras are thoughtful and we love that the suite is on the main floor. The only downside this year was, the neighbours upstairs were louder than last year with a screaming toddler who was often up by 5:00 am. The master bedroom had windows facing the courtyard and it was very loud. I would still stay at this suite again though!!! Thanks Romain and Eta... see you next year!!!

Fantastic location on the ocean, with fabulous views from all terraces and especially from the upper outside deck. Great open plan living space with views and spacious bedrooms with en suite bathrooms . The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and discreet, always there to greet and assist. The property and gardens are really well designed and have a great flow. Superb walks to the reefs at low tide. The remote location provides great privacy and relaxation, highly recommended. We will be back!

I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb! Julia was an amazing host, always on hand to respond and went out of her way to make sure we were well looked after. Her attentiveness made the stay even more enjoyable. Pascal, who was on-site, was extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much hassle for him, and he always greeted us with a smile, ready to assist whenever needed. The apartment was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. It was also very cosy, making it the perfect place to unwind. The attention to detail made it feel like a true home away from home. The highlight, however, was the breathtaking sea view. Waking up to it every morning was absolutely magical. Pictures don’t do it justice! I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Julia and Pascal’s hospitality made all the difference. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Veronica was very kind. She welcomed our family into her home. We wanted a place close to the airport so fly out the next day. Driving into the neighborhood, we started to get a little worried. It's a few minutes down a dirt road. She was able to give our driver precise directions. Once we got behind the secured gate, we were amazed by the property. We hung up our wet beach clothes outside on the spacious patio and clothesline. The kitchen had all the amenities. A separate dining area, a sitting area with 3 couches and TV, 3 bedrooms(2 with en suite bathrooms then a 3rd bathroom). AC in every room which was a bonus for us coming from not having any for 3 days in Nungwi. Hot water in the baths/showers. I slept on the couch comfortably whilst others enjoyed their private rooms/beds. In the neighborhood, I felt safe enough to walk 10 min to a fruit stand and small grocery to make breakfast. The kids in the area were so sweet. We gave them treats and they were grateful!Thank you!

This was my third stay with Saidi in Fumba, and just like the first time, it was absolutely fantastic! Beautiful villa on the outskirts of Stonetown, it comfortably fit 10 people (with shared beds) and it’s about a 15 minute drive from town. Host was very helpful, flexible, and responsive. House is beautiful, with direct beach access and a fully equipped kitchen. I would happily stay again and would recommend it to anyone.

Really great stay at this apartment, boutique feel and just like the photos. The complex where the property is situated is big but the host is easy to reach via message , phone call and inbox. Cleaner service every couple of days was a bonus. I stayed here with my family and was very happy and safe.

I had a pleasant time staying at Judith's place, located in Fumba Town. It was neat and the environment was Serene. Fumba Town, some 20mins drive away from Stone Town, is the place to be if you love a peaceful, calm neighborhood with a swimming pool and a sea-facing bar. The balcony view is breathtaking. Generally, it's good value for money. Did I forget to mention that Judith communicates well?

The place was nice and clean! Allie was very helpful throughout our stay! I would book with them again.

Clara & Arif have a really beautiful cute and local place!<3 We really enjoyed living in a safe home with a lot of great service including free coffee, water, tea and it was really close to food stands were locals are eating from. :) :) They also booked at a taxi to Kizimkazi for a really fair price.

Beautiful and quiet place. The fridge could have been a bit better. In summary, we had a good time.

Incredible, serene and homely place in a quite neighbourhood with good security. Neat home, great furniture. I really enjoyed making breakfast in that kitchen, it had all the utensils we needed. And for the first time after a long while l got to eat breakfast made by my little brother, imagine. What an experience we had. Abdalrahman is a great host, always willing to assist and promptly responded to us. He even gave us good recommendations. Not only was Abdalrahman a great host, what made it even more special was that he partnered us with a great and reliable driver. We were picked up from the airport and that was the start of a memorable week. Yussuf (driver) took us to all the remarkable places and was also so helpful in breaching the language gap when we had to deal with other locals, he even taught us a bit of Swahili. We're definitely coming back!!!

I had a wonderful stay at Riz’s Airbnb apartment in Zanzibar. The space was classic, immaculately clean, and well-maintained. Riz was an excellent host, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Zanzibar and look forward to staying here again on my next trip!

Great location.. right in the middle of Stone Town and great for exploring the streets and sites. The accommodation is set over 4 floors with 2 bathrooms on the first and second floor. Lovely clean bed linen and great wifi and A/C. I would definitely recommend to others.
