Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Stockton-on-Tees

A group of old school friends had a lovely stay at Shelia’s beautiful house. Great open kitchen and communal space. Made use of the hot tub which was a nice addition. Nice country walks from the house and enjoyed a meal at The Farmers Inn. Would definitely stay again.

This house was beautiful, it smelt so good as we walked in and was a great size. It still has some lovely Christmas decorations up for our twixmas break. On the whole it was very clean. The facilities were great, very well equipped kitchen (but no oil like the listing said), washer and dryer came in handy as there were no towels for the hot tub. There were plenty of logs for the fire even though the heating worked really well throughout the house and there was clear instructions in the book. The garden was fenced off and very neat with a small play tractor which was a nice touch. A big black dog which was always of lead came in the garden, I’m not sure of it was the owner’s or a guest next door. I’m sure this cottage would be lovely in summer. We used Tesco in Catterick Garrison for a click and collect and there is an Aldi there too.

We recently stayed at Murton Farm Steading, as we had a family wedding at the nearby Dalton Old Pumphouse and we absolutely loved it. Sarah and Mark are wonderful hosts and really helpful with every question before and during our stay, responding really quickly. Location-wise, it is only a few minutes off the A19, so really accessible. Murton has plenty of shops and facilities, and there’s a retail park 5mins drive away too. Seaham is about a 10min drive, so getting to the coast is really easy too. The house itself is absolutely stunning - it really is such a great space and, if anything, the photos don’t do it justice. Everywhere is beautifully presented and the games room is a welcome space for keeping everyone entertained. Our favourite room was the main bathroom - it felt luxurious and had a real spa feel with the ambient lighting option. We are all very excited about booking more family get togethers there when the weather warms up, as it would be phenomenal during the summer!

Fantastic farm house in lovely countryside setting. Accommodation had everything you needed and was so spacious. 2 big gardens for the dogs too and fenced/gated off. Hot tub a bonus. Lovely walk straight out of the house. Lots of places close by to visit. Helen was a great host. The owners have thought of everything and just felt like home.

There was a group of 16 of us and the place was so spacious, we didn’t feel on top of each other either, there were lots of places to share/ split off into. The whole place was very quiet too, couldn’t hear much noise from neighbouring rooms and from outside. 5 minute walk to the closest shops and takeaways but at the same time felt as though we had our own space and were secluded - didn’t need to worry about neighbours etc. All the rooms were spacious and comfortable and had all the facilities needed (one shower was blocked and one toilet out of order before we got there but loads of other facilities dotted around the building anyways so didn’t cause an issue). The games room was great to socialise, little gym and sauna and a lovely hot tub which were all very clean. Overall an absolute bargain for everything the place could offer us, not to mention how kind and friendly the host was over message. Thank you so much!!

Spotlessly clean on arrival and unlike a lot of places we truly felt right at home straight away. Lovely peaceful area with a fantastic view and beautiful buildings and farmland. The hosts were very friendly, helpful, very responsive and generous with lots of unexpected little additions. They have thought of everything and the place has all you could ever need. The cherry on top was really the hot tub which was very comfortable to use even in close to freezing outdoor temperatures (the extra robes and towels for this were most welcome). We loved stargazing from the hot tub at night.

I travelled with my two sons and one of their friends all various ages from 13 up to 18. The lodge had everything we needed for our night away. There are a great choice of amenities which we all made use of. We had the pool and the games room to ourselves, whilst the older lads enjoyed using the gym. It was very blustery so it was nice to sit and soak in the hot tub. The area is so peaceful and the view is amazing. The hosts are really responsive. They have thought of everything including snacks, a great choice of towels, robes and slippers. We made use of the fire Pitt which was wonderful for a cold February evening. We can’t wait to come and relax here again soon.

We booked very last minute for one night but I’m so glad we did!! I wish we had booked a couple nights but it was absolutely gorgeous none-the-less. Perfect location, really private and peaceful. Very romantic for a couple. Really well thought about and we absolutely loved having the privacy mirror windows, as we kept the curtains open at night so we could wake up to the view. It was stunning. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be returning for a getaway

What a beautiful place , Angus met us there and was so welcoming , accommodating and overall lovely ! Close to shops and 10 minutes from the centre of Durham , thank you so so much ! Can't thank them enough

Absolutely beautiful surroundings, beautiful lodge....comfy beds,lots of towells and lovely bedding.....would highly recommend ,felt right at home as sooon as we arrived and we will definitely be staying again .....hot tub on point ,very clean, lovely and warm all day ...Will is a brilliant host and is clearly dedicated to his business....we have had the best time 😊😊😊

Had the best two night stay here, so clean and peaceful, a nice touch with sauna for only £20 it’s a great price for what you get. Everyone’s so lovely and helpful! Will be returning

Just got back from a 2 night stay at the cabin- the place was lovely- so clean, so nicely decorated and had everything we needed. Very spacious and was more than enough room for the 2 of us. Hot tub was a lovely addition and was perfect during the cold weather. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning in the future.

Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at Pete’s cabin. It was lovely and peaceful. The hot tub was amazing. Pete was always on hand to help re heat the hot tub. The fresh eggs from the hens were a great addition and were very tasty! Overall it was an amazing stay and would highly recommend Pete’s cabin to anyone wanting a lovely peaceful get away!
