Vacation rentals with breakfast in St. George

We were adding on a stop after a week of hiking in Acadia and the Boothbay area was perfect. House was exactly what we needed in a great location no matter which direction we wanted to explore. I would consider staying there again. The only possible downside I can think of would be limited seating in the living room area. There is only a couch to seat 3. Luckily our kids didn’t want to join us for movie night.

We had a great week at Charissa’s place. Everything was as listed. Charissa has thought of everything you need to have a comfortable stay. This place is very large and allows for everyone to spread out and have their own space. We will stay here again, if we are ever in the area. Thanks Charissa for the plentiful fruit basket and delicious blueberry muffins. Such a nice breakfast treat!

It is a home, not another place set up for visitors. Its warm, inviting, beautiful and perfect location. We will return, if not many more times in the future.

Can’t say enough about the location and for every bedroom to have an ocean view is spectacular. Even packing up to go, while enjoying the view, was not laborious. Will definitely want to return. Kitchen was well-stocked. Gino was a great at communicating.

Loved the space, Angela was very quick with her response time and even when we had a heat problem she was quick to jump into action and help us. We enjoyed the space as welll for a small super bowl gathering . Thanks!

This is what an airbnb should be. We’ve rented many bnbs over the years and Christine’s place felt like home. The surroundings are beautiful, and the house is charming, exceptionally clean and welcoming. Yarmouth is a great town as well, just a stones throw from Portland and the coast. We really couldn’t have asked for a better host or place to stay to enjoy the beauty of Maine :)

Sean's place is ideal for visiting Portland's very busy peninsula. The drive was only about 10 minutes, and I considered walking to Congress Street, but I needed to bring the correct (warmer) clothing for the easy 45-minute walk. The apartment is part of a home, and it is very, very quiet. We never heard anything. Old houses like Sean's are both charming and well-built. Everything was immaculate, from the bathroom to the bedroom to the kitchen. He also left treats, sodas, water, and tea. It was great for a two-night stay or even longer. I would recommend this home to anyone visiting Portland.

The house was great, beautiful surrounding, great amount of privacy, beautiful and clean on the inside. About 20 minutes into town and 45 minutes to Acadia. The kitchen was spectacular as well as 2 great living room type spaces to hang out. In addition to two bedroom, the pullout couch is great for an extra person or two. Do not worry about the reviews with shower water pressure. It is not bad and the shower itself is really great! Overall, I would definitely stay here again. I loved this house!

The property is located in an spectacularly beautiful part of Phippsburg. It’s quiet, secluded, surrounded by stunning views, and yet only a few minutes drive from the Bath and the many attractions Phippsburg offers. The apartment itself is well laid out, spotlessly clean, and unusually well provisioned with a little store of dry and perishable items for our use. It’s worth noting that the apartment is part of the host’s larger property, being a sort of basement apartment. Jing and David greeted us on arrival and bade us farewell on departure and were kind enough to invite us in for a cup of tea one afternoon. They also kept their distance and allowed us the space and privacy to enjoy our stay. We really appreciated all the the thought and care that they both put into hosting. We had a wonderful experince and hope to return.

Nice place and very roomy!

The feeling of being on this beautiful estate is amazing. We felt like the Duke and Dutchess of Bristol. The grounds are beautifully manicured and invite strolls through the orchard, down scenic walking paths, and down to the large pond for a swim or glorious paddle on the provided canoes and kayaks. Timothy is thoroughly delightful, warm and charming. It felt like we were staying on the estate of a treasured old friend. We look forward to returning again and again.

Kimberly’s place was in a great location! We walked everywhere from there! There were lots of delicious treats to welcome us which was a nice touch. Kimberly was very responsive to our texts. The only thing for us was the bed was very firm, otherwise everything was great!

I highly recommend staying here! Judy is a pleasure to deal with. The place is immaculate in a very safe, convenient location. You can tell she put a lot of thought into organizing this apartment. Judy was extremely helpful with recommendations in the area. She goes above and beyond for her guests. I feel lucky to have found this listing and would definitely return.

We were 2 couples staying for a week. Rooms were spacious and had several comfortable lounging areas. The bedding was clean and looked like new. Ralph is a fantastic cook and had homemade breakfast items most mornings. I highly recommend!!

The unit was very clean and had all the kitchen appliances we needed. The beds including mattresses and linens were very comfortable and plenty of blankets were available. Location was great to visit the sights in Bath. We'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the Moonlit suite for our local minimoon and it was perfect! Meticulously taken care of, bright and cozy. We were even met with a celebratory champagne. It was all very special. We had such a lovely time. Thank you Emma and Dave! <3

What a wonderful time we had staying with Libbey and Jeep. It was a beautiful house in a beautiful setting, we were comfortable and very happy with the accommodations. Most of all, we really enjoyed talking with and getting to know our hosts!

This is the second time I've stayed with Marsha and Steve and I never wanted to leave! Their home is beautiful and welcoming, as is the island. Can't wait to come back :)

This was our first time staying at the Candlebay Inn and we definitely will be back. Connie was so wonderful and sweet, greeted us at the door—gave us a brief tour and local recommendations. The Daisy Room was super cozy, very clean and quiet. In the morning, home cooked breakfast was delicious, Connie was nice enough to tell us about the backstory of the inn which we really enjoyed. 10/10 recommend!!

We loved spending a few days at this rustic b&b! Soft towels, a good bed, and lots of charm. it was beautiful and the people who run it are very kind! Those with a nervous predisposition should know there are no locks, but that’s standard in this part of the world because it’s very safe. Breakfast included made it feel really easy and cozy, even though there were quite a few good breakfast options in the area. The views from the property are stunning: stargazing by the water at night was a real treat. If you are looking for rustic, unpretentious, and stunningly beautiful Maine, this is it.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Bill and Paul were incredibly responsive and had great suggestions and communication. We loved the feel of the house - everything we needed was provided and easy to access. Muffins and coffee in the morning were a really nice touch. Would love to return and explore more of Maine someday soon.

Had a wonderful time at Daniel’s Airbnb! We were greeted with a warm reception and delicious apple cake with delicious sweet tea! I can’t say enough good things about Daniel and his beautiful home. We felt right at home. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area. Our accommodations were very comfortable. Best part was the delicious breakfast with coffee and tea and scrumptious omelette with homemade hash browns! I wanted the recipe! I highly recommend Daniel’s place, it made our vacation a little more special! PS: Reds Eats in Wiscasset Maine was the best ( Paul Newman and Robert Redford ate there too) Thanks for the recommendation!!

Dr. Jerr is a very kind and generous host - he provided us with fresh coffee and breakfast snacks each morning during our stay. We loved the location on Cape Elizabeth, close to Portland, and to many beautiful coastal and woodland trail walks. We came home laden with fish, flash frozen from the fish markets in Portland - thank you Dr. Jerr for your recommendation. We would wholeheartedly recommend staying with Dr. Jerr for exploring the stunning Maine coast and hope to find ourselves back on Cape Elizabeth again next year. Tom & Gillian Hamilton
