Vacation rentals with a fireplace in St Austell

This place made for a great base and was good value; we were on a budget and it met all our needs. Beds were comfy and it never felt crowded with 7 of us staying. We could always get enough hot water and bedding and towels were clean. We never heard any noise outside or through walls. Sandra was very helpful and responsive and it was a lovely touch to arrive to milk, biscuits, tea and coffee.

Outstanding location with panoramic sea views from the warmth and comfort of the conservatory. Beautiful home with all the comforts needed for a wonderful relaxing stay! Extremely comfortable beds slept so well! This was the perfect mini break we all needed thanks so much x

The property was very beautiful and clean. We had a child with us and the baby chair in the kitchen is very thoughtful. Lana and her daughter was very easy to get hold of. The experience was remarkable. Definitely recommended!

Our experience at The Gatehouse was the most special Airbnb experience we have ever had. We were visiting family in the nearby area, and this was the perfect space to call home for a couple of days while exploring. We live in Australia and special, historic buildings such as this one, are extremely rare. My partner is a builder and was very taken with the renovation and how unique this building is. The bed was also the most comfortable bed ever, with the most beautiful french linen sheets. Gorgeous, clean bathroom with a great shower. Charming, elegant touches. Convenient kitchen with everything you need. We stayed here during Winter, and we found the space to be warm, and we also enjoyed using the log fire. We would love to return to this place - it is beyond special and it was a privilege to stay here. Thank you so much Emma & Romilly.

We had a lovely stay as a group of 6 adults. Staff were lovely and went the extra mile. The house we stayed in was exceptionally clean and tidy. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we would need. Would recommend to others.

Ivana place was lovely, perfect home for all the family for the few days away we had. plenty of space both inside and out. Stunning view which I'm sure is even better in the summer. Great for storm watching as we stayed in February too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. really enjoyed our stay and would look to go again. We loved it so much the first time, we just had to return again this year. Fabulous cottage, situated in a great location to explore North Cornwall. The cottage is furnished to a high level and really does have everything you would need. An absolute home from home and so cosy in the Autumn/ Winter months. Only one mile from Constantine bay and within easy drive of so many other bay and beaches in the area. Cottage ideal for all family types and has a well enclosed garden perfect for children or animals. Tim is an excellent host, communicates very well and is extremely responsive. Would absolutely recommend a stay here.

Beautifully decorated for Christmas, with a well stocked kitchen and very comfortable sofas and layout. It’s a very friendly neighbourhood - we were wished a happy Christmas by strangers and were offered help with carrying our bags. Easy to drop down the hill to anywhere along the high street, so very convenient for the town. The parking wasn’t bad at all and it was handy to have a designated space if necessary. Thanks for a great stay!

Second time staying here on a short break. Laura is a great host, very responsive and always friendly. Apartment is perfectly clean, warm and in a great quiet location with an easy short walk to the beach. 5 minute drive into Falmouth for shops, restaurants. Thanks Laura for the welcome goodies, always appreciated after a long drive.

Great stay at Amber's, perfect location and really helpful to have a parking space. The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos, would recommend staying here.

Anna was a wonderful, considerate host, ensuring the flat was warm and cost ahead of our arrival. Xmas decorations sparkled and the decor gave a real hygge vibe. I only wish we could have stayed longer. I won’t stay anywhere else in Falmouth again. Superb. Six stars!

Place was clean, light and spacious. Had everything we needed. Loved location as 20-30 min stroll (moderate hills) to/from Main Street in Newquay and had free parking. Would stay again and do recommend.

We all enjoyed our stay at Bream barn. We were only there for 1 night catching up with old friends in the area but Charlotte was really helpful and accommodating, generously allowing us a little extra time to allow our teens to wake up in the morning without it being stressful and also accepting our dog as part of the party when the sitter had to pull out last minute. The place is brilliantly situated, easy for us to meet up with our friends. The walk down to the cove through the hotel garden is really convenient and beautiful. The boys were comfortable on the sofa beds for the night. Thank you for making us feel welcome and relaxed.

we spent two weeks at Pippa's place. it was everything that we were told and more. Pippa, Matt and the children were very welcoming and friendly. The Annexe is very spacious clean and comfortable with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would happily stay there again in the future and would absolutely recommend it to friends and family

I have stayed a few times at Claire’s apartment. It is comfortable, extremely well situated for the shops and restaurants . It is easy to use public transport, buses stop almost outside and the train station is a ten minute walk downhill.(about fifteen going back up hill) Claire always helpful and responds quickly to any queries.

Overall a very good experience

A lovely lodge in a great location. Perfect for our needs. Nice walk to Looe directly from the beach, and having the beach shack open in the evenings was a bonus. Great area for sea swimming (with a seal for company!) and easy to get to other parts of Cornwall. Louise was very helpful and responsive. We’d visit again.

Us 9 from 7 to 70 had a really great holiday. Despite sometimes dodgy weather, we loved using the numerous house facilities. The sheltered from breeze,wellness area exceeded expectations, especially hot tub & sauna & was well maintained.Also much family football ! & basketball. The outdoor gym a good perk. Pizza oven good fun too. Indoors budding pianists explored their talents ! The conservatory was beautiful to relax & eat family meals in if we couldn't eat outside. Locally the walk to Porth beach for us was fine & walk to the island beautiful. We made use of the body boards & kids wetsuits at the house and all tried out paddle boarding at the Gannell ( again free because the house offered inflatable board ). So busy we only watched 1 film in the cinema / playroom, but it's a great asset to have, as was the annexe, a real little home. the lettuces growing if we wanted & just the huge space in & out. Unlike many places, upstairs was spacious & all fully carpeted, so very quiet.

One of the most relaxing places we’ve ever stayed at. It was our home away from home since the hosts had thought of every little single thing you might need during your stay. Incredibly nice and kind people who have built this place with the utmost care and love. We made ourselves pizza, played air hokey, spent blissful time in the jacuzzi whilst storm and rain was pouring outside and it was the absolute best thing ever. We loved having a fireplace as well! Couldn’t imagine a more magical Christmas! We’ll be back again!

Just got back from a lovely stay here in ‘Rock the Kasbah’ house. House was beautiful, immaculately clean and lots of lovely touches - welcome hamper and treats, dog bowls and some treats for our furry friend and a dog bed which he took a shining too over his own that we brought with us! Communication was excellent and they managed to give us an early check in so we had plenty of time to settle and explore on our first night. Lovely short walk down to the beautiful beach which was lovely even in the middle of Winter. The public car park was busy with surfers but the beach is so big you hardly bump into anyone! Our primary reason for visiting was to see family in Hayle which was only a short car journey, along with the convenient shops there which was ideal. The hot tub and sauna were lovely to enjoy in the evening and the guide to the house was easy to use. Thanks for a lovely stay and we’ll probably be back in January next year!

Beautiful house with stunning views, extremely clean, everything you need for a holiday was provided. Weather fab which was a bonus, great communication throughout. An enjoyable holiday for all of us.
