Very good stay.The welcome and hospitality shown always is important to me. Staying in a stranger’s home is intimidating.These lovely people were so gracious and helpful that we were immediately at ease.

This is an older home, basement suite, but it had everything we needed and we felt home right away. Host came by twice to check if everything was okay, provided great insights about skiing, and was proactive in letting us know about the noise from the family living upstairs. Young kids, it was a bit noisy, but nothing to worry about in our opinion.

We stayed two nights for a wedding. Great central location, suite was as described with all the amenities we needed. Kendall and Greg are fantastic friendly and responsive hosts. They even provided an extension cord to the street so we could plug in our vehicle as it felt like -30's. Floor above creaks/squeaks as a few other reviewers mentioned but it was never a problem as the hosts are extremely quiet. I have back issues and found the bed too soft and lacking hip support. My workaround was to lay sideways across the foot of the bed which provided much firmer support (fortunately my wife is small and so her legs didn't reach the bottom allowing room). Many other guests commented the bed was extremely comfy, so just beware if you have back issues it's very soft. My only suggestion would be replacing the stiff plastic shower hose with a more flexible hose, and the shower head which sprays strong/hard with a more gentle jetted version. Great stay, highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay here. The suite was very cozy & comfortable. Well equipment kitchen with everything you need. High quality filtered water coming from the tap (much appreciated!) the location is very central, close to transit with access to the downtown core. Close to the Kensington neighbourhood with lots of great restaurants, bars and shopping etc. I would absolutely stay here again in the future! Thanks again Heather.

Really one of our favourite places we've stayed! Super cute and cozy. It was colder than we expected in Calgary and we needed up spending a lot of time in, and didn't feel too cramped. We had a lot of fun playing the board games Cathy left for guest!

We stayed at Shawns place as our first stop after relocating to Canada from England and are so glad we chose this Airbnb. After moving on to another Airbnb, we actually wish we extended this longer as it’s a step above the others! The space was perfect and a great size for 2 people. I also really loved the amount of storage space there was, meaning you could comfortably pack away all clothing, suitcases etc and keep the place looking tidy. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you’d need. The bathroom was clean, with a lovely big mirror great for getting ready and a nice strong shower over a great size bath and all the amenities you needed, included a lot of towels and linen, as well as access to washer / dryer. Hosts were great, very responsive and accommodating. We honestly couldn’t recommend this place more - it’s better than the photos, great price, super safe & home from home!

Sometimes hosts are stingy with information prior to checkin, presumably for security, making it hard to plan. Here, we were given clarity well ahead of time. We didn’t check in till 10. Everything was clearly stated beforehand, so I had no way to know responsiveness initially as we had no needs. After checkout, I found that we had accidentally left something; I contacted, and Lois replied immediately that she would save it for us to pick up. Ideal spot, perfect host!

Mark is an amazing host and his spaces are all wonderful:) the bachelor suite is spacious and quiet, the bed is up in the loft and is very comfortable. Location has easy access, walking distance to many amenities and short drive to all outdoor activities. Will for sure stay again. Thank you Mark

Sonja's Airbnb is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, complete with special touches to make you feel at home. Sonja herself is accommodating and communicative. I recommend this Airbnb!

The Olaf was the perfect retreat after our busy days checking out the sights of Calgary or venturing out to the incredibly beautiful Rocky Mountains! We had everything we needed and Sean was so helpful! The apartment is beautifully appointed with luxury fittings and is spotlessly clean and excellently maintained. We can highly recommend The Olaf for either short or longer stays and we would definitely return if we are lucky enough to visit Canada again.

Great space. Easy to get into and find. Convenient location near shopping and restaurants. Parking was a breeze. Greatly appreciated the complimentary coffee and hot water kettle in the room! Snacks were very nice as well and a great touch. Microwave and fridge was a huge bonus too. Bathroom/shower is a bit small but nothing unmanageable. Everything was clean and cozy. Bed was very comfortable. Not a place to stay if you sleep in, as they have a young family with little ones awake early upstairs. Wasn't an issue for us as we were up and out and about early as well. Overall, the value was great and I wouldn't hesitate to book again the next time we are in the area.

Kehinde's place was exactly as shown in the pictures and was well stocked. I had everything I needed to cook right there, and I also liked that the fridge had a filtered water feature which saved me from buying bottled water. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom's soaker tub was exactly what I needed after a day of exploring. Since I was travelling alone I really appreciated the coded lock on the side entrance AND the door of the guest suite too, I felt extremely safe both in the suite and when I went for a stroll around the area. Kehinde always answered my questions in a timely and friendly manner, I had the pleasure of meeting her when she very kindly dropped something off for me. She is such a lovely person and it was obvious that she was concerned with me enjoying my stay at her Air b&b! All in all, I felt staying at her place was great money's worth!
