Cottage vacation rentals in South West England

Lorraine and Baz were lovely and gave us all the relevant information. They we’re flexible with check out times and all questions were answered quickly. The local pubs were lovely and we met regulars who gave us further information about walks which we went on that were lovely, definitely check out Avebury if you stay. The hot tub was a lovely touch! Thank you very much for everything xx

Absolutely loved our peaceful stay. Tracey and Mark were very attentive and friendly, truly went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. One of our highlights was the Italian themed delicious dinner cooked for us! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a mini spa break to switch off.

The place was great, exactly what we hoped for and all we could have asked. We couldn’t find anywhere that would deliver food, but there’s a town about 10 minutes drive away with plenty of take away and supermarkets to stock up yourself. Well equipped kitchen with full fridge freezer and oven so if you do stock up you don’t need to go out again.

We had a fab stay, thank you! Hot tub first thing in the morning next to a field of donkeys and ponies catching the morning light - what more could you want?? We had a lovely, relaxing stay here. Family of 4. Kids aged 7 & 9. The outdoor sandpit & play equipment would be more suited to younger kiddies but our two still enjoyed them & they were just happy with the jacuzzi really. The owners were very welcoming and informative. Gave some good recommendations… Esme’s tea rooms in Brockenhurst was one of them. Yum! Best scotch eggs and cake selection ever! Would have given 5 stars, but the decor could do with a little refresh & kitchen equipment was a bit of a mish mash. Bring your own salt and pepper, sugar and tea, too. Hand soap and washing up liquid was provided.

Amazing 2nd stay… two nights 3 days still not long enough. Can’t wait to come back.. have really fallen in love with the this little cottage.

When we turned up we pleasantly surprised with how private it is. Walking into the property it had a homely cottage feel, and the welcome basket of Easter chocolates was a nice touch. The hot tub was clean and hot and ready to use. We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage and would highly recommend. Thank you again Kay.

Perfect getaway. Very clean and had everything you could possibly need and more. The treats left for us were a lovely touch but the toy and treats left for Teasel, our cocker spaniel, were very well received. Squeaky donkey is now her favourite toy. Alison was a very responsive host and answered our questions very quickly.

We had a fantastic stay! The house actually looked even better in person than in the photos. It had so much to offer—cozy fireplace, BBQ, and a lovely outdoor bench area that made it perfect for relaxing. While there is a train railway nearby, it didn't bother us at all and didn’t take away from the peaceful vibe. Would definitely recommend this place!

We had a wonderful time! The cottage was lovely and cosy and as described. It had everything we needed so we could cook our meals and included all the bedding as well. There was a lovely little outside space too which would have been wonderful in warm weather. Unfortunately when we stayed we were unable to use the fire due to crows nesting which was a shame, especially as it was very cold and windy for us, so it might be worth checking for anyone else if this is one of the main features that appealed like it did for ourselves. There was no local shops but Tenby was a short drive away with plenty of places to visit and lots of beaches nearby so the location was great. There is a local pub but only open Friday and Saturday evening. Sleeping arrangement was great as well but there is no door between the snug and the lounge so be aware if you have anyone sleeping on the sofa bed like we did. Overall a beautiful cottage in a great place, we’ll definitely be back.

This was my second time staying at Norton Court Farm and it was just as wonderful as the first. The cottage was cozy, spotlessly clean and appointed with many thoughtful amenities that make it feel like a home away from home. The kitchen was fully equipped making it easy to cook meals and the host was very welcoming and offered some lovely local recommendations. Thank you so much for hosting us! :)

Jason was the perfect host. Great communication and the house was just great with all the touches of making sure our stay was as perfect as possible. It’s such a great base for being able to enjoy the surroundings. Our kids had the best time being able to use the estates facilities all as part of our stay at the cottage. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in Jonathan’s cottage for 2 nights. It was clean and comfortable. Saundersfoot was only a 10 minute walk down the hill and the parking outside the cottage really good. Jonathan’s instructions were clear and he always responded quickly to messages. Definitely recommend to other travellers.

We’ve had a really nice mini break. The accommodation and location made it for us. We would highly recommend. I cannot wait to travel back to the New Forest.

Debra and her daughter are lovely and friendly. The cottage is idyllic and so peaceful. The walk to and from the car is lovely in the morning looking over the fields in the distance. The linen and towels were all lovely and fresh and the hot tub was kept immaculate throughout our stay . It was chilly in the evenings and the fire was cosy. We will definitely return . Such a peaceful location and the highlight is the hot tub which is very private - great to relax in while watching the sunset or stargazing. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and well equipped with great facilities. We enjoyed a short local walk, a trip to Sandymouth beach (lovely cafe with great views) and visited Dartmoor. Would definitely stay again!

Eamon was a fantastic host from start to finish. Very friendly and helpful and communicates really well. The cottage was lovely, clean ,quaint and cosy. We had a great family holiday there and the kids loved exploring the garden. Would highly recommend.

Really lovely place with stunning scenery. Very well appointed with all amenities. Loved seeing Deer outside our bedroom window. Great to have dogs so well catered for. Highly recommend - we really enjoyed our stay.

It is a comfortable and clean home and very spacious. I felt welcomed and loved. Paula surprised us with some snacks and breakfast food. I really recommend it.

We stayed for three nights and had a brilliant time. Catherine's communication was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay in the beautiful, characterful cottage. Our one-year-old made lots of use of the garden, which was secure and had a great tree house and toy selection. The cake we were met with went down a treat, too! We had a fantastic time and this was the perfect base for us to explore the New Forest and nearby coastline. Would absolutely stay again!
