Vacation rentals in South Vacherie

As a man of many words I will honestly say I have one word for this Airbnb.....PERFECT. Would absolutely stay here again if in the New Orleans area or recommend to Family or friends.

Mike and Carols house was perfect for our family! 4 adults and 3 kids (2,5&7) They had a pack n play- high chair, toys- very kid friendly!! We traveled to the area to go to Mardi Gras parades! Place was well stocked with everything we needed- also laundry room was an added bonus!! We will definitely be coming back when we go to Mandeville!! They have pool Table and a few other things outside but we weren’t at the house enough to enjoy. Close to lakefront!! Quiet area!

Maxine’s place was perfect for a weekend in New Orleans. She was very hospitable, and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We had the most wonderful time. The cabin is amazing. The lakeside situation is incredible. We had such fun on the lake beach and kayaking. Couldn't recommend staying here more.

We spent a week there with our daughter and two grandkids and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is superb, a long block off the scenic lakefront in Old Mandeville with its lovely houses and nice restaurants, some in walkable distance. And it’s only a few blocks to a connection to the Tammany Trace, a terrific walking, running and biking trail that goes on for miles and miles. The cottage, though a little dated, is bright, airy and immaculate. Beds were comfortable, bedrooms have large closets and the bathrooms were clean. Lighting throughout is good. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils and there’s both a Keurig and drip coffee pot, plus blender, toaster and air fryer. There isn’t an actual dining table but there is adequate stool seating along a counter. The laundry room is a plus although the washing machine is an older model that was a bit finicky at times. But we would definitely book this place again. Highly recommended!

Great place that is well set up for families traveling with kids and that want a place to park a car! We enjoyed our stay and found the location to be very central to everywhere we wanted to visit!
