We had a 3 week stay and it was just fabulous! The balcony is the best part of the house. The view from balcony is much much better than what you get to see in pictures. We kept thinking if we could extend our stay. No one in my family felt like going back. House has great positive vibes! Bushra is truly an awesome host. She was always available for almost all the things whenever required during our 3 week stay! I certainly want to go back and stay in the same house in near future. If u want to stay away from hustle bustle of the city yet close to move around by car and see all the tourist place then this is the place to be in! When there were some construction works going on in the premises, effort was made to minimise the trouble caused to my stay. Firstly, the property has simply the best view of Bhimtal Lake. It's a beautiful place where you can spend time with your loved ones. The rooms also are facing the lake . The host is very helpful and friendly. It felt like home. As I am a local here I visit different properties but the Pencil House is one of the best property that I have been to in Bhimtal. Really had a amazing stay , harsh bhaiya is a great host , the food was amazing the view from the property is serene.

The stay was good. The rooms were clean and same as shown in photos, kitchen was good all the necessities were available like tea sugar. The surrounding was nice with mountains and trees in a gated society.The location was good as it was midway between nainital and kainchi dhaam. We visited kainchi dham from here only and reached within 20-30 minutes.

The cottage’s scenic surroundings and peaceful ambiance made it an ideal place for a family getaway. The property was exactly as shown, clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped with a kitchenette—perfect for preparing our own meals. Our host, Shomya, was wonderful, responsive, and even provided indoor games that our child loved, adding a thoughtful touch. Located conveniently, it took only 35 minutes to reach Neem Karoli Dham, 20 minutes to Bhimtal, and 45 minutes to Nainital. We highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a homely retreat amidst nature, close to major attractions. It’s a place we’ll definitely return to!

Not too far but still located at an untouched place. Place is easily reachable for an average driver. Balcony provides really beautiful view of the mountain. Its surrounded by peach trees which is very rare to see for people from plain. House has all necessary amenities. Rooms are quite big. You will feel at home. Caretaker cooks whatever you ask him and is a good cook. Overall a very satisfactory stay.
