Kid-friendly vacation rentals in South Dublin

What a lovely find in the Kimmage neighborhood of Dublin! The home was large and spacious for our party of 7. The area is a bit more residential however could walk or easily Uber into town whenever needed. Kieran and Fiona were wonderful hosts that were accommodating and helpful during our stay. Highly recommend for any large groups coming into Dublin. The home was amazing and we loved the kitchen the backyard space was also very nice and peaceful.

We LOVED staying here. It far exceeded expectations. Sometimes you see photos and you rock up and it’s like umm ok. But this place is so much BETTER than even the photos suggest. As a native Dubliner I loved the location, the quietness, the gorgeous garden, the amenities, the comfortable homeliness of the house, but especially the lovely Irish welcome that Patricia extended to us. We arrived having a long delay in flight to a warm, inviting, cosy home with a kind written note with wine, bread, cheese which was a godsend as we were so tired we tucked into it immediately. Patrica was contactable at all times and gave great instructions for both the house and so all the lovely local places available. The home is spotless and what a wonderful outdoor garden which was a suntrap. We hardly got to spend time there as we were on the go but we so will be back to explore more. Lovely place to stay, I was only there for one night but I highly recommend it for a stay, very clean, very helpful host , lovely decor ,perfect.

Our family of five stayed at Chris’s place for 4 nights. Perfect walkable location to sights in Dublin that we had on our list. Quick 15 minute walk to our Wild Rover Bus Stop for a full day tour. Easy taxi ride to/from airport. We did rent car for one night to explore Wicklow Mountains. Chose Sunday-Monday Am to do that as street parking was free on Sunday until Monday at 7am. Beds were comfortable. House was clean. Coffeemaker/beans an absolute perk. Easy communication.

Alan is very welcoming and has thought of every detail for a comfortable home from home stay. You really feel as if the space is your own. It's beautifully furnished and decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you could need, including lots of useful information about attractions and days out. Alan and his lovely apartment come very highly recommended.

Francisco was very helpful, responsive and friendly. Instructions were clear, always checking in and provided answers to our queries! Place was nice and peaceful and had all the basic amenities and more in the home. Area had nearby supermarkets and bus stops. Really nice place for a group of friends or family. Some places of interest nearby and checkout time was reasonable!

The host was very nice and always available. The room looks like the pictures. Although the room was in the private apartment, you were very much on your own and have a lot of privacy. The price is very reasonable and of course the situation is a little outside. The building looks a little run down from the outside. Right outside the door is a bus stop with easy access to the city. In the same building is a center of grocery store and even several take away restaurants. For the price absolutely fine

Helen was fantastic when our flight was delayed for 3 hours, she met us personally and gave an informative brief of what was where in Dublin, with recommendations. the flat was perfectly suited to our needs and very private. I would highly recommend Helen and the flat to anyone wanting to stay in Dublin, close enough to the buzz of the temple bar area but just far enough away to be quiet.

Roman was a great host and super helpful and communicative. His place was exactly like the photos and made our stay very comfortable.

Liam’s place was perfectly located for our holiday vacation in Dublin. It was well equipped & a great home base for our small family. Liam was highly responsive and a wonderful host. We would definitely love to stay at Liam’s home if our travels took us back to Dublin again.

A great stay at Riaan's place. Amazing hospitality and a friendly welcome. Very comfortable apartment (bed is awesome!), with everything we needed and more. Peaceful location. Very highly recommend!

I had an amazing stay at David’s place! He is a brilliant host and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The place was spotless, well-equipped, and in a great location. The bus stop just out of the door was a huge plus. Communication was seamless, and he was always available to help with anything I needed. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely book again in the future.

I highly recommend this listing as much for its location as well as for its comfort. The apartment is located in the middle of the tourist places and we were able to do everything on foot. Nothing to say about cleanliness and bedding is comfortable. We're so excited!

Mark’s place was just what we needed! Close enough the city center, and in walking distance to nearby restaurants and groceries. The place itself was also phenomenal. Comfortable bed, full kitchen, and enough space to spread out. And Mark was a perfect host and communicated very quickly with us. We would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Dublin!

Great spot. The place is very spacious. Check in was easy and the hosts were helpful. It is a bit of a walk to the city center but there are a lot of great things around the place that made the location work well. Would stay here again.
