Kid-friendly vacation rentals in South Ayrshire

I rented Paul's accommodation for 7 weeks in total and it was lovely, clean and very handy for our tour during their rehearsal period. I shall definitely book again for more rehearsals in Jan/Feb/March 2025. Paul was also very responsive if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this house.

A lovely spot just off a stunning beach. Nice and peaceful and well appointed.

Our stay at Marcus’s home was perfect for our family. ( including a 1year old) We had everything we needed and more. Great location with easy walking distance of Ayr town and eateries . Also an easy walk to the sea front. What a bonus! Marcus was always responsive to any questions we had and flexible with our arrival times etc. would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ayrshire. Thank you

We loved our stay in Whiting Bay. Grant’s house was lovely! When we arrived we were greeted with a gift basket and the stove burner was ready to go! House had everything we needed and plenty of space for 5 adults and a toddler. The location was fab and we loved looking out the bay window each morning and were lucky to see a couple of pods of dolphins passing! Overall, we had a great stay and Grant was an excellent host!

Our host Lynne was very professional ,friendly and approachable at any time. It was very easy to find the place, we had 4 car parking available for this cottage. Ot was very beautiful area would love to be back with friends and family. This was a very relaxing holiday we all felt. My friend's dog Mac and our dog Pluto loved the environment and we were able to take them for long walks. Very beautiful view from the conservatory. People were so friendly as well.

This is a very nice place to stay in Troon. Quiet, on the water front, with beautiful surroundings. My boys and I loved the welcoming baked treats laid out on the counter for our arrival. I would definitely stay here again when we return to the area. Thank you to whoever for opening your home…

I booked Victoria’s place for two nights for myself, best man & groomsmen as I was getting married at the Brig O’Doon. Victoria’s place was ideal and very well situated. It is only a ten minute walk from the Brig and had an iron, ironing board etc. very useful for pressing the night before 😂 Parking is ample for 2 cars or more & it was really easy to check in. Beds were comfortable & the outside spaces are pleasant - would stay there again.

This was our second stay. The flat is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Check in was very easy , using a key box, and Natalie kindly allowed us to check in early and check out late which was much appreciated. The place is spotless and despite the January weather was lovely and warm . There is plenty to do in the apartment, board games, tv, wifi but it is also just a short walk into Ayr. Kitchen facilities are excellent and there is an Aldi within walking distance. Parking is plentiful in the car park outside the apartment block. We are looking forward to our next visit.

we have previously stayed here as it's affordable, clean and as described. Vanilla is a great host and if there are any issues she does her best to sort these out efficiently. I would recommend staying at vanillas place.

Great location with the beach right outside the door, the dog loved it and so did we. Lovely sunrises and a cosy wee house in the evening

This flat is lovely not far from the Turnberry hotel so great location. Clare was lovely and even dropped the key off for me at the hotel as was having lunch. Lovely quiet area the flat is in plenty of parking. Lovely surroundings beach, light house. Highly recommend will be back 💖

From start to finish, Morag was always available. She was welcoming, informative and made us feel at home. As we had arrived at 10:30 at night, the welcome pack she left us was a godsend! A farm fresh egg omelette, toast and a cuppa was the best of meals!! Everything in Prestwick was just steps awsy - from restaurants, pubs, food shops. We'll definitely be back!

Great location, exactly what we were looking for! Check in/out was a breeze. Short walk to many restaurants and pubs.

Great stay, very nice and clean inside and had all amenities we needed, Stuarts an excellent host answered the phone whenever we needed and went above and beyond to arrange a earlier emergency check in! The locals are also extremely friendly

Accommodation was in perfect location, right in the heart of Troon. Easy access and free parking was a bonus. Flat was clean, modern and had everything that we needed for the couple of days we was there for. We would return again. Thanks for having us.
