Vacation rentals with a firepit in Somerset County

An absolutely beautiful setting! The house was as described, we really enjoyed the gorgeous sunrise and the big windows to get the full view! The beds were comfortable, and everything was on the same floor. This was helpful since we were traveling with my 89 year old mother. The kitchen was very nice, and had everything we needed. The peacefulness was much appreciated. We would love to come back again for a longer stay sometime!

We really enjoyed the house. It is beautiful, well equipped, and well taken care of. Tammy was responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. The beds and couches are comfortable. The arcade room and movie room were popular for our kids ages 7-15. It is 15-20 minutes from Seven Springs and very close to Hidden Valley. You need a good 4X4 car for when it snows. We highly recommend Tammy‘s place and will consider it for future trips!

We had a great time staying in George’s home. It was spacious, private, and had everything we needed and more, they even left us cookies on the counter when we checked in! The home itself is larger than I expected and has a very unique feel to it. We enjoyed just walking around the house checking out all of the cool decorations and other touches for awhile after putting our things away. The town it’s in is small but cute and has more than I expected. Everything you need and more. We would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area.

From booking to checkout, everything about our stay was perfect!! I made changes to our arrangements shortly after booking and David was quick to respond and very helpful. Upon arrival, easy entry into the house, and everything was very clean and just as pictured. This location is exactly what we hoped for our weekend!! Peaceful, quiet, clean, and relaxing! I would highly recommend this location and look forward to renting here again. I can't thank you enough for helping to our New Year's weekend getaway so memorable!!

Sugar Tree Lodge was a great find. Spacious inside and out. The kitchen was so well stocked. We cooked breakfast and dinner every day and had everything we needed. Plenty if dishes, utensils, cookware. Plenty if places to sit and eat. A beautiful view of the lake. It is about a 30 minute drive to Seven Springs but it was an easy drive and didn't seem too far.

My family loves the place. It was super close to the ski resort and close to where the rest of our family and their lodging. It was super clean, and private. They even plowed the snow to help us get out. We definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to stay in or around 7 springs or hidden valley ski resorts!

We took my son's and their friends snowboarding and stayed here for 3 nights. The house is gorgeous and so peaceful. We got snow which made it all that more beautiful. Lots of nice cozy blankets, and everything you need for a nice stay. A well stocked kitchen. Beautiful bathrooms, with good water pressure. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use the sauna, but it looked amazing! Vadim & Maria are EXCELLENT hosts! Due to the snow our son's friend got himself into a situation trying to get out of the driveway. My husband went to help and his huge truck ended up getting stuck too. I sent a message just to ask if they had anything on the property to break up some ice. Instead, within 20 minutes a tractor showed up and helped get them out as well as plow out all the snow. That was EXTREMELY helpful. I have road side assistance under my insurance but I know we would've waited hours. My only recommendations are if you are traveling during snow season be prepared and bring bottled water.

Had a wonderful stay at this spotless apartment with a lovely view of the confluence of rivers. The host was responsive and helpful. We felt at home with everything we needed, from the well-supplied kitchen to the comfortable living room, spacious dining room and luxurious bedroom suite with its own deck door. We had breakfast and coffee on the huge deck while enjoying ducks and boats on the water. Heard trains but slept fine. Being able to lock our bicycles in designated storage was a huge plus, as was the convenience of having bikes right outside the door for a beautiful ride on the treelined Great Allegheny Passage trail to OhioPyle in the state park 10 miles away. A fawn nibbled berries as we arrived for an incredible dinner at the Riversedge Cafe, a short walk from the apartment. The Confluence Convenience mart was open when we needed supplies on a Monday evening. And so glad we stopped at the nearby Tissue Farm for Chai, scone and art on our way out to Kentuck Knob - a must-see!

A comfortable, spotlessly clean little apartment. Everything was as described. Diana was responsive to our questions but was not intrusive at all. We had a bonfire outside, sat on the front porch, listened to the trains, and walked around town. Enjoyed a couple of great meals at the River's Edge Cafe, just a short walk away. A great experience. Thank you, Diana!

Joe’s house is a great place to stay with a small group of friends. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the neighborhood during a snowy week. There were guests staying in the unit below us that can be heard, but we had no issues with loud noises during quiet hours. We did experience some discomfort with the “master bedroom” bed/ mattress but would definitely stay at Joe’s again.

We loved this place! I was wanting a place in ligonier where I could just stop for one night and this place checks all the boxes! It was super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Needed a place to stay on my weekend bike trip. Theresa got back to me immediately as all other places I contacted went straight to voicemail. when I got to room I realized I've ridden by here many times and always wanted to stay at this location. I was completely surprised I was actually staying here and it was well worth it. Excellent stay and will be back.

Nice little cabin get away! We spent the weekend skiing at Hidden Valley, which was just a few minutes away. We enjoy the wood burning fireplace and comfortable beds. The temperature inside was very cold when we arrived, but Elijah was quick to respond. Look forward to returning again!

Great place! We stayed here with 10 adults , 2 children, and an infant, and the place fit us all comfortably. Alla was extremely responsive, and the place had so many accommodations. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The space is lovely and has tons of room! We had the fire burning all throughout the weekend. Hot tub was fabulous. House is in good proximity to seven springs, an easy drive! The master bedroom with the massive bathroom was amazing. Michael and Anthony were extremely kind and responsive hosts! The supply of wood, well stocked kitchen, and cozy cabin made for a great weekend.

The house is spacious with multiple living areas, allowing our group to spread out and relax. The hot tub and large fireplace were highlights, just be sure to bring firewood and open the flue beforehand. Check-in and check-out were super easy and the host was flexible, which we really appreciated. Great location -mere minutes to the mountain with easy access. The driveway is steep and was very icy, we used the second entrance to make it up to the house. Make sure upon arrival to check for a binder that includes instructions like how to warm up the house and turn the water on. The house was generally clean, but it wasn’t the most spotless Airbnb we’ve stayed in. The kitchen was well-equipped, though there wasn’t much pantry space for storing enough for 16. There aren’t a lot of groceries stores nearby so be sure to stop by a Walmart or other supermarket before you arrive. The loft stairs are very steep, so should be able-bodied to access. Bedrooms were nice and comfortable.

Very comfortable spot. Plenty of amenities for adults and children. Gino was very responsive if we had any questions. Will definitely book again, perfect space or relaxing and spending time with the family.

We had a great stay. Being 5 minutes from Seven Springs was a huge plus. The place was very well stocked, we were amazed there was even a coffee grinder on hand! Hot tub was nicely oversized and Clinton was responsive when needed. The only concern we had was one of the bunk beds was so rickety the kids refused to sleep up top. Im sure this will be addressed and we'd love to stay here again.

Our Christmas stay at 'The Cabin in the Woods' was absolutely magical! The cabin exceeded our expectations with its cozy ambiance, especially the delightful fireplace. Our host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making our experience even better. We enjoyed days filled with skiing, playijg boardgames and puzzles, we cooked a delicious lasagna in the well stocked kitchen, and spent countless moments of relaxation by the fire. We cherished our time away so much that we're now inspired to buy our own cabin in Champion! We highly recommend 'The Cabin in the Woods' for anyone looking for a perfect retreat."
