Cabin vacation rentals in Somerset County

We had a great time, nice tucked away cabin, hot tub was fantastic, and the space is super cute. Would recommend and would definitely stay again.

The home is nice and as pictured/described. The downstairs bed is comfy, the hottub is super nice, and the dining table is huge. The kitchen has about everything you need but don't expect a luxurious cooking experience - small oven/stove and limited counter space, but everything works well. The upstairs loft is definitely very tight as stated in the listing. 6 adults would have been too cramped for us unless not spending time in the house during the day. We ended up being 2 adults and it was perfect space-wise. The location is great and Kingfield has some awesome spots to check out (Orchard Girls Cidery and the Woodsman). It snowed the day we arrived and over the weekend, but the driveway is long and it didn't get plowed until day 3 of our stay. We have AWD and after some shoveling we managed to get up the driveway (it's relatively flat, but there's a little uphill at the start coming off the main road). If you're going in winter, be aware of this and you definitely need AWD.

We had a great family stay for our weekend of skiing. The Moosehead Cottage Resort is perfectly located near Greenville and only a 10 minute drive to Big Moose Mountain. The staff was super friendly and made us feel at home. The cabin (#1) was cozy and beds were comfortable. Our kids had a lot of fun at the common pool and spa area. There is some deferred maintenance in that area, but everything was functional. We had a great stay and would stay there again in the future.

Sherri’s place was great- our family stayed during a snow storm and we felt safe and cozy. The hot tub and string lights outside were a lovely touch- the hot tub felt new and very easy to use. Our kids enjoyed feeding the deer each day and it’s a short drive to Sugarloaf for great skiing. We’d love to come back!

it was a very cozy place. nice and quiet in the evening with pretty views. we enjoyed our stay and was happy to see how dog friendly it was for the next time we want to stay.

Great place to stay, has connector directly to the snowmobile trails, place was as described, plenty of parking, host was very responsive and provided all necessary info up front. Wish there had been more snow but that's not the fault of the resort. Will stay again!

Stayed here for a ski weekend at sugarloaf and it was great! Super charming cabin, easy to get to and only a 30 minute drive to the mountain. This is our second time staying here, we love the quiet surroundings and relaxed atmosphere. The hot tub wasn’t super clean when we got there, but we messaged the host and someone came to clean it the next morning so we really appreciated the responsiveness. We would come back!

A great launching point for our Sugarloaf adventure! Property was exactly as described and Ramon was very responsive to our queries. We had a power outage because of high winds, but the on-demand-generator kicked in within seconds. Ramon also made sure that the driveway was plowed after a major storm. Note that the 2nd floor bathroom opens to a hallway, but the 3rd floor bathroom is en suite. And the hot tub is en plein air. :-)

Very happy with our stay at Rob and Jessie’s cabin. We were there to bird hunt, and the ability to have dogs was definitely a need for us. Location was great, plenty of space, good internet access, and full kitchen and bathroom. Communication was great too. Would stay there again for sure!

Charming little cottage on the lake! Had a lot of fun, easy to get to town and the lake was serene and peaceful. Great place to stay!

Great spot. cute house. beautiful location by the river. Nichole is a super host. If using as a base camp for snowmobiles it is almost a mile of road riding and neighbors walking or even driving by don't seem pleased.

A very cozy spot in a very beautiful spot. Liz was incredibly responsive and flexible. All needs were met during our stay. No WiFi was not an issue since cell service was very good. A great spot if you’re looking to do snow sports in the surrounding area.

This was our second stay at the Sugar Shack as it’s a great spot when skiing Sugarloaf. I really appreciate the well seasoned cast iron pans instead of using scratched up and flaking nonstick ones found at most Airbnbs. There are plenty of hooks to hang your ski gear. It’s also one of the few we’ve rented where I didn’t have to wash the glasses after pulling them out of the cabinet. Clearly the cleaner is very conscientious. We will definitely book again when returning to the area.

We have rented this adorable log cabin many times and look forward to our next visit! The host is very responsive and friendly and we can not recommend this lovely stay enough.

Hope and Lloyd’s cottage was a wonderful getaway - a beautiful place to relax and unwind. We loved being able to walk out the door and enjoy peaceful long walks with our dog along the many trails - we especially appreciated the hand drawn map of the area as our guide. Can’t wait to return and explore more!

3 of us rode our snowmobiles to here and used it as base camp for our riding trip. The place had everything we needed. A fully equipped kitchen. plenty of place to hang our gear. Usb outlets everywhere. A nice quiet setting. The owners communicated well and quickly.

My wife and had another great week snowmobiling in Jackman and staying at Dean's cabin. The cabin and location cant be beat and we've stayed here many times over the past years. Dean is very prompt at responding and we look forward to the next time we can visit the Jackman area and stay at Dean's place!

It was exactly what we were looking for as a little weekend get away. It was fairly quiet and in the woods just enough for privacy. The fire pit was great and we just really enjoyed our time there. Would definitely stay again. Only thing notable was the grill did not have a propane tank which was okay to us because we had our own little camping grill but if you plan to use the one there, just a heads up!

Can’t say enough about the cabin! Beautiful spot, private, cozy, had everything we needed and more. Erin was always so quick to help and help us find what we needed and it really shows all the cute cozy extras that made it even better. We loved it so much we stayed an extra day and was sad to leave but we will be back!! Amazing!! Amazing! Amazing!

if ur lookin for a place right near Sugarloaf and about 45 min to Saddleback then ur in luck, exactly what we needed for 4 days of riding.

We had a great time at the cabin despite it raining during our ski days. Location is perfect for all that Sugarloaf has to offer. Would definitely look to stay here again!

Such a peaceful cozy cabin!!! if your looking to get away from it all this is the place! We went in the winter for a snowmobile trip, trails were right out of the backyard!!! Driveway was big enough for my 4place drive in/out trailer and truck. About a 10min snowmobile ride to moosehead lake. The cabin was rustic yet with updated appliances. Every morning we would wakeup have our coffee while we watched a heard of deer in the neighbors yard play. We couldn't have asked for a better trip!! Thank you Daniel for allowing us to enjoy your cabin!!!

Nice place to stay for the trip I went on and very reasonably priced
