I highly recommend Jessie's place to anyone visiting Port Moresby. Jessie provided excellent communication, ensuring a smooth check-in process. Her contact person, Tassie, was also very helpful. Upon arrival, I was impressed by the apartment's lovely decor, spacious layout, and organization. The warm welcome touches, including fresh flowers and a loaf of bread, were a delightful surprise. The location was ideal, with easy access to government offices, VC Mall, Gordons Market, and other nearby suburbs. Jessie was a fantastic host, responding promptly to my inquiries and checking in regularly to ensure my stay was comfortable. The staff, including Tassie, the guards, and the cleaners, were all friendly, attentive, and efficient. Overall, my stay at Jessie's place was wonderful, and I 100% guarantee it to anyone seeking a safe, comfortable, and well-equipped accommodation in Port Moresby.

Best view in Honiara. From the living room and balcony we could see right across to Gela and Isabel in the distance. We felt very much at home at Ridgeback. Comfortable and clean with cooling aircon for the hot afternoons. Our 1 year old daughter liked to say hello to the 'puppies' that greeted us on our way in and out each day. Connie is a great host and her staff are friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

this is an absolutely beautiful village. so so many kids who are so so friendly, their smiles are like the sun breaking through the clouds. if you can bring extra snorkel gear to give them, or the local guys who also use it to fish, please do!! everyone is incredibly friendly and welcoming on the whole island. there is not a system for tours/tourism -luckily we made friends with some people in town who were able to show us around to some places- make sure you bring extra money if you also want to go this route. no one asked for tips but we wanted to give them something for their time. if your interested in wood carvings almost everyone in town is an artist, creating masterful magical pieces. make sure you have extra space in your suitcase for that. for food- we were on a backpackers budget, couldn’t afford the fully catered option, just 2 days. we were able to bring food with us from honiara, very difficult to carry all the stuff on the ferry. if you can afford it, do catering.

The location was great, near to the airport and peaceful and quiet inside. I loved the atmosphere, greenery and clean facilities.

This place was perfect for our needs. Location felt very safe for POM outside of staying at a flash hotel. We really enjoyed having access to the shared pool and aircon, the neighbors were nice, and the outside seating and views were great. The inside is sparse with glaring lights a super wobbly table (tried to fix to be able to at least sit at it but never really worked) and we couldn't get the TV to work, but it had everything we needed including a fully functioning kitchen. The place is very secure with 24/7 guards who even went to get us a couple items from a near by shop at night as we didn't want to go out at night on our own (we were two women). Some things caused slight frustrations: pick up overly complicated - could have just provided map/photos instead of waiting for 30 min at near by Crown Hotel, no salt/pepper/oil despite in description, only two rolls of TP for week (again night outings tricky). Do buy a local sim at airport, roaming means no one can respond to you!

Excellent place to live. Host was very responsive, and friendly. Only problem was no aircondition otherwise I recommend this place.
