Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Sololá

We love our stay at the villa. It’s gated and private with direct access to the lake behind the house. On clear days you can see the three volcanoes at the lake. The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Very peaceful, you can hear birds singing. The interior is beautiful and cozy for the four of us. The house manager Juan is there during the day and took great care of us during our stay. We love that we are just a few steps from the center of the village with a church, market and few local shops. Santa Catalina Palopo is a charming, small, very local village. Just 10-15 mins tuk tuk ride away from Panajachel where you can catch public boat to visit other parts of the lake. We are glad we picked this place as our home base during our visit.

Absolutely breathtaking. I spent the few first few hours here pinching myself. This place is very special - with a garden full of life and colour, and meticulous attention to detail throughout the residence.. There are several "must-stay" places around the Lake front and Villas Del Carmen will no doubt be ranked as one of those once more people become aware of this tranquil place. The pool and hot tub are the perfect way to relax against the backdrop of the lake, plus the Shala for morning meditation or yoga. It couldn't be easier to get here - the entrance is just a few steps up from their private dock (the boat driver will know to drop you here when you follow Sofia's instructions). Sofia is the perfect host...and chef. If you have chance to try her meals, definitely do! I am leaving feeling very blessed and only wish I could have stayed longer. I hope to return one day (but in the meantime, I can only pass on the recommendation). Enjoy!!

IT IS A PARADISE, HAS A VIEW THAT ONE DOES NOT WANT TO LEAVE THE PLACE. DECORATED, COMFORTABLE, CLEAN, ETC. WE RECOMMEND 100% I THOUGHT IT WOULD HAVE AIR CONDITIONING BUT NOT MISSING, THE WEATHER IS SPECTACULAR.

We chose to stay at Fabio and Andrea’s place because of the outstanding reviews, and they were absolutely right. The house is stunning—words don’t do it justice. We ended up staying in the entire time and didn’t want to leave. The hike up is no joke—it’s tough, just as the listing describes—but the porters (aka the super helpful boys) make it so much easier. We couldn’t have done it without them, as they carried our bags all the way up. It was around 30Q each, which is absolutely worth it—just make sure to have some cash on hand. Once we arrived, we quickly realized we weren’t going anywhere, but we hadn’t brought any food. Thankfully, they’ve thought of everything. If you order the day before, Veronica will come and cook the most incredible meals right in your kitchen. We had her cook for us both nights, and the food was absolutely delicious—it made us feel truly spoiled. If you can, don’t just stay for one night—book at least two! You won’t regret it.

Somehow the pictures don’t do justice to this place!! It is way more beautiful! I felt like I own the world, with that view of the lake and the volcanos. The stuff were very helpful, very kind, schedule a massage for me and were there to answer any questions. Two things you need to know though, they were tooo many stairs to arrive to the house from the lake, and they don’t have a comfortable living space ( basically no living room!! Or they do have a small space, but the chairs are not comfortable!!!)

This is a gorgeous air bnb. The host has thought of everything and was very responsive to questions. The caretakers are kind and helpful. Our kids loved the hot tub and all the outdoor spaces. Beautiful landscaping and the lake is breathtaking. I loved the open-air feel. We stayed three nights and wished we could stay longer, it was so comfortable and relaxing. Thank you so much, Ana! Beautiful home, breathtaking views, great location and overall, spectacular. Everything was exactly as shown in pictures. The gatekeeper, Daniel was friendly and very helpful. My family and I had a wonderful time!

The garden and dock provide peaceful and pleasant spaces to relax, and water activities, such as the use of kayaks, add significant recreational value to the experience. The cleanliness of the property was impeccable in all areas, which contributed to a comfortable and pleasant stay. Attention to detail is noted in the maintenance of the facilities. Samuel, the host, proved attentive and responded to our needs in a timely and efficient manner, facilitating our stay. We recommend this property to those looking for a spacious, clean and well maintained accommodation in a natural setting, with the possibility of enjoying outdoor activities.

My family and I had a great stay here! The view was GORGEOUS! The place was beautiful inside! The beds were super comfy and everything was very clean! We loved staying here and appreciated how quickly the host replied and communicated!

Had a fantastic time staying here. It’s like having your own private resort. Ghada was very responsive and helped us find private cooks and boat taxi charters, it was a week of heaven. Would stay here again.

The villa had absolutely stunning views!! The walk there was manageable and well worth it! The access to the lake was also a bonus. Isabeau and Sergio (and the rest of the staff) were helpful, kind, and responsive. Very unique and memorable stay!

This place was beautiful. The peaceful environment and the AMAZING view were definitely worth it. Everything was as described and more. We really enjoyed out time here and would definitely love to be back. the kids had a great time at the pool, the lake and around the house. a beautiful place to rest, enjoy and to reset. Everything was amazing! One thing to note is that there are 300 stairs down from the road, so be prepared for that. The caretaker, René, is super helpful with helping get your luggage up and down and is very responsive to requests and needs. Would certainly recommend this place.

Amazing stay! The lake is gorgeous—one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. The property is locally owned, and the hosts are helpful and communicative. Speaking Spanish or using Google Translate will make things easier. Mornings are especially magical when the lake is calm. You can kayak on the serene water or relax in the Jacuzzi for an additional fee. If you need to go into town, you can easily hire a taxi driver by the hour. The space is stunningly clean, peaceful, and perfect for relaxation. Highly recommend!

Tres Tortugas is an incredible property, astoundingly beautiful, and worth the challenge of getting there on the unpaved road leading to the house. Alex helped us get a driver to bring us there and we are happy we didn't drive there ourselves. We were coming from Antigua and did our supermarket shopping there so we didn't drive off the property at all until we the end of our stay. Staff lives on the property and helped us bring our luggage in when we arrived. The pictures don't fully capture its beauty. The views are spectacular, the property grounds lush and really well-maintained, with lake access down quite a few stairs directly to Lake Atitlan and a private dock. Alex helped us arrange private boats to ferry us for day trips to other towns along the lake. All in all a truly special experience.

This cabin is the perfect escape—quiet, surrounded by forest, and filled with birdsongs. The views are absolutely breathtaking, making every moment here special. While it's outside of town, it's just a 5-minute tuktuk ride (about $2USD) or a 15-minute walk to the restaurants, cafes, and bars. Town can be noisy, so this peaceful setting is a huge plus. The solar power, Starlink internet, and filtered water are a rare find and make the stay even more comfortable. Ximena, the host, was amazing—friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. If you want serenity, incredible views, and great amenities, this is the place. Highly recommend!

The stay was very nice, the view from the cabin is beautiful, the access to the lake for swimming is safe and gives the place a plus, we hope to return 🫶🏻

My stay at this stay was simply spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us very kindly. His attention is impeccable, always willing to help with a smile and making sure every detail of the experience is perfect. The facilities are wonderful: comfortable, clean and well decorated rooms, with a cozy atmosphere that invites you to rest. Every corner of the place is designed for comfort and relaxation. But the most impressive thing of all is the view. Sleeping at night gazing at the stars and waking up every morning to the imposing Lake Atitlan in front of my eyes was a real gift. The beauty of the landscape, with its calm waters and the majestic volcanoes in the background, creates a dream scenario that I will never forget. The spaces are totally colorful for beautiful photos and have many activities to do on the lake. The restaurant food is a delight. I'm definitely staying here again.

Magdalena was the perfect host and her home was beautiful! She was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions. The location is a 15 minute walk or a short Tuktuk to get downtown. And the roof was amazing!

The stay was nice, the little house is exact or better than Vito in the photos. Marcelo welcomed us very well and gave us all the directions of the use of the house; super attentive and ready to solve anything. I would go again to stay alli 100% but more days to be able to take advantage of La Paz and tranquility that is in the house. The campfire at night was cute, the delicious jacuzzi and the front beach and beautiful gardens. Thank you Margarita!!!!

This place is absolutely perfect in every way possible. The views are gorgeous and the location is private and quiet. We enjoyed the utilization of all the amenities such as taking a kayak ride on the lake and coming back to a swim in the pool and in to the sauna and a soak in the jacuzzi. Carolina was extremely helpful with her clear instruction, communication and recommendations. I would definitely love to come back some day and stay here. Thank you!
