Even if the weather was bone chilling, the place was warm and nice. The complete absence of internet and TV, though an irritant in the beginning, was a blessing as we played a lot of board games and had quality time. The place could do with some upgrade. Mirror in the washroom, better quality coffee mugs, more and better towels. But the location, cabin like feel of the plade and the friendliness of Frank made up for it all Great things to do around, decent restaurants within 15 minutes of the place and scenic beauty ofvthe area were added values. A good place to spend some R&R.

We stayed at the Teddy Bear cottage over the long weekend in Spring with two families and 3 children ages 8-13. The cottage is spacious and beautifully laid out for both rainy and sunny days. We found the set up to be very family friendly and the kids had a blast playing outside on the trampoline, the small playground and exploring the lake & large lawn. The beds were very comfortable and the cottage is very bright and full of light. The large dinner table allowed us to gather together to eat and have social time for games & crafts. The city of Orillia and all the highlights it has to offer is a quick 10 minute drive away. We went to bakeries, shopping and had a lovely lunch at Brewery Bay pub. Highly recommend this location for families looking to make beautiful memories and relax.

Our family loved our weekend away at Kathy’s - she’s an amazing host! Always quick to respond when and if we needed her. She even left us baked goodies and snacks for check-in which was so thoughtful of her. The entire place was beautiful and clean.

This was the best year yet. It snowed quote a bit during our stay and it was an amazing view from the cabin to outside and surrounding areas, albeit the cabin was cozy and warm with the fireplace. Everything about this cozy cabin is the perfect getaway, as this is our 4th year coming up. Always a great time, the place is clean, tidy and fun with the amenities and games among the house. Super grateful Rosanna is always so friendly, welcoming and responsive. Thanks again, Domenic and friends.

We met Patricia upon check-in and she had prepared the place for us in the most welcoming way. The house has such a warm cabin feeling, is super spacious and the surroundings are beautiful. The place has everything families need in terms of spaces, linens, activities, etc… We were lucky enough to enjoy the presence of a deer coming in the garden on our first night and so many other animals. Highly recommend for a quiet stay in nature in a big cottage!

We had a great time at Patrick’s cottage, the location is great, within walking distance from the beach, it’s exactly as described, very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Very nice cottage in the middle of nature and in front of the lake… ideal for a break from the city ! Megan is reactive and communicating with her was easy.
