Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Smiths Parish

This AirBnB was a slice of Bermuda paradise in Sandys Parish. The house is perched on a small outcropping that offers water access to the east (sunrise) and the west (sunset). The covered porch and swimming acesss on both sides were the best features of this lovely private home. We truly felt relaxed upon arrival and purposely spent time in and around the home because of the setting and accommodations. Sandys Parish is the western end of Bermuda. As such - it really helps to know the local spots so that you aren’t traveling all over the island for the touristy ones. In particular, the hosts recommendations for Woodys, Long Bay Beach, the next door ferry and use of marketplace/takeout made our time as a family of 4 more memorable. We did go further afoot on a few of the days - and Arthur (recommended taxi) is a gem and Bemudaful ambasssdor. Finally - the hosts Mark and Kate are outstanding. We came just days after Hurricane Ernesto and they made the trip perfect despite that.

Hello! This location was lovely and cozy for our family of four. If my husband and I visit without the children, we would consider rebooking this place. However, we enjoyed breakfast on the patio, looking at the ocean every morning, and being close to the beach.

We are so glad we chose Debs over our other considerations. The location was perfect for us, with bus stops going in both directions near the driveway. We took the bus for the entire week, and with the frequent stops we were able to go everywhere we wanted! We walked to the beaches from Debs, even all the way to Horseshoe Bay if you are brave! In February the beaches are quiet, we lucked out with beautiful hot weather! We felt completely safe and at home at Debs. It was well stocked with everything we needed and more. We loved playing with the dogs and cats next door, as we are big animal lovers. We enjoyed the view, listening to the local radio station on the Bose stereos, the king bed was nice. Deb provides snorkel gear, grocery bags, maps and lots of reading material for things to do during your stay. All of which were very appreciated! We have stayed in over 15 airbnbs and Deb really stood out with being a fantastic host! Thank you Deb for a wonderful stay :)

The house was awesome. It was well appointed, clean, and the location is perfect. Lorna was a wonderful host. Can’t wait to go back.

Pavaune's place was perfect for our group's stay in Bermuda! We spent 4 days here and loved it. Down to the last detail, she made sure our stay was great. She included a beach towel and waffle robes for each guest which was greatly appreciated considering we flew in and didn't check any bags. We spent most mornings and evenings on the amazing patio space. Short walk to the bus stop which we frequented to get all over the island, highly recommend! Our group isn't afraid of a little walking so we did the ~1 mile trek to Horseshoe Bay a few times from the airbnb, BEAUTIFUL scenic view once you get to the top of the hill. I went for a couple runs on the rail trail too which is easily accessible from the airbnb and is an excellent trail that spans almost the entire island. Gibbs Hill Lighthouse is within walking distance and has awesome views.

Our stay at Orlando's place was quite pleasant. There was a little less living room seating then we had thought, but that was okay as one foot rest couch piece was removed. The home is located within walking distance from town though with the lack of sidewalks or small sidewalks in Bermuda you may want to get a taxi. Taxis are abundant. The backyard wasnt really usable space for us and its worth noting that the apartment is on the second floor for anyone who has mobility concerns. Orlando is quick to reply for questions and concerns and I appreciated that. Overall, great stay and at a fair price.

Tom and his family were extremely gracious with their home; which is a beautiful and comfortable Bermuda style home designed and built by Tom, and tucked away in the natural nature preserve surroundings. We lived on the front porch! With snorkels available, and the Somerset Long beach a short walk, the restaurants at Camdbridge beach resort around the corner, and Dockyard a short bus ride away, with ferry to Hamilton, the location was quiet but easy to navigate. Additionally, Tom and family took us grocery shopping and provided insights into their family and Bermuda history, and some of the local spots for delicious food/to-go in Somerset Village. Thank you Tom! We'll be back!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Malcolm and Martha's place. The name "Nestle Down" is appropriate for this home because it sits back from other homes surrounded by tropical foliage in a quiet neighborhood. While being ocean side is great, this home provides so many other advantages over a great view. We spent most of our time in the large kitchen that has a spacious patio attached. We cooked dinner instead of going out just so we could enjoy the patio. The home is large and provides more than ample space and amenities for all guests. Malcolm and Martha are gracious and kind hosts. They went over and beyond to ensure our needs were met, provided great feedback about restaurants and sites, and genuinely cared about our stay. This place easily felt like home away from home. Don't miss out on an opportunity to live like a local in this special Bermudian home!

The Gombey cottage is set in a peaceful neighborhood with everything (beach, restaurant, grocery, transportation, etc) within close proximity. The private area is beautifully landscaped, fenced and manicured with a variety of fruit and palm trees and outdoor seating. The living space itself blends the charm of a traditional Bermuda cottage with a delicate splash of modern sophistication. There has clearly been attention paid to every detail. The kitchen and bathroom are immaculate and contain everything needed. The bedding rivals 4 star hotels and the host are attentive but not intrusive. It felt as if we were in our own island home. My only regret is that we had to leave and were unable to partake in the traditional codfish breakfast offered on Sunday, as that was the day we checked out. When we return we won’t make that mistake. I’ve already recommended the Gombey cottage and look forward to my next visit, to add to these latest memories. Thank you for everything, Tawana!

This was a great place to stay at. The host is very helpful and responsive. It is walking distance to a convenience store and bus stop. Town is just about an 8 minutes drive away and a 4 minute drive East will get you to the Aquarium and some great restaurants. The place had everything needed, from enough towels and bedding, to games and everything you need in the kitchen to cook a meal. I would definitely recommend Marissa’s place to anyone looking for an amazing stay.

Janet and Bill were very welcoming, the apartment was spotless, and with family at MOC the location was perfect.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Wayne’s place. The apartment is well separated in a quiet neighbourhood about a 10 minute somewhat uphill walk from the main road. Buses are easy to catch and the supermarket is at the corner. Wayne is always trying to provide the best experience for his guests. Use the Shorelink app for bus tickets (super easy) and don’t be afraid to try out Wayne’s kayaks (a single and tandem sit upon) as the Sound has extremely clear water and can be very calm at times. We loved it here - especially sitting outside on the porch watching the sun rise while listening to the kiskadees and other birds singing. Peaceful and relaxing!

Margaret is a wonderful hostess. Her home is beautiful, serene, and peaceful. It is beautifully decorated. She stocked the fridge with breakfast goodies for us! There was coffee and tea, milk and juice, cereal and yoghurt. Enough to get us started. We did do our own shopping at the grocery which was a couple of minutes scooter ride away. The house is a short walk from Shelly Bay Beach. A few minutes more from Flatts Village. A perfect mid island location. We are not new visitors to Bermuda, we’ve been here many times and have friends here from some of our many visits. We enjoyed the serenity that Margaret’s place offered. She was available when needed and unobtrusive as a hostess. We are already talking about when we can come back.

Shomari was extremely responsive. his place was exactly as described, with nice Christmas touches as we were there rhat week! The bathroom and kitchen looked newly renovated and were sparkling clean. Shower pressure was good and the AC/Heater units worked beautifully as it got a touch chilly at night. We would definitely stay here again.

Ruth-Anne's Airbnb is awesome. It's very well appointed, squeaky clean and properly stocked with books and games for that relaxing rainy day. It was very peaceful and the priority is very private. Ruth-Anne runs a yoga studio on the property as well which for a small fee you can join the various activities including a sound bath. I met her husband and he was very accomodating. I wish them all the best and would highly recommend Spirit House.

This home was wonderful. The location was perfect as it was easily accessible to restaurants, market, bus. It was expertly decorated to the minute detail. We will definitely visit this home again.

Staying at Wayne's place was amazing. It was the most beautiful view ever from the back yard. Wayne was really kind and helpful. I would highly recommend and would love to visit again.
