Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and satellite TV (Astra). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Welcome to stay in our farmhouse located Adolfsberg, a peaceful residential neighborhood in Örebro with free parking . Here the beds are made and towels are included. We have a beautiful garden, a cat and some chickens that you are welcome to visit. Sometimes there is a possibility to buy breakfast or a freshly baked berry pie. Nearby is Sommarro with nice walking paths. It is about 3 km to Gustavsvik adventuresbad and about 5 km to Örebro city. Grocery stores and pharmacies are close by and to Marieberg shopping center it is 4 km away.

Here you can experience the silence and take a break in life. Proximity to nature and swimming. In the house there is an electric sauna and access to spa bath outside. At our own lake you can enjoy the wood-fired sauna and swim in the lake, why not a ride on the lake with the raft in silence. Access to 2 bicycles is available, for a tour of the surroundings. No smoking indoors throughout the property, smoking outdoors allowed Winter time we charge a cost of 200 sek for occupancy of ice wake if guests want winter baths

This unique place is located next to the edge of the forest but still close to business and good communication, decorated with care and thought. Enjoy in the warm sauna overlooking the forest, cool off outside on the large porch enclosed by the tranquility and silence of the forest. Our studio, built in 2016 is situated close to the city but still in the countryside. There are three beds - one single bed at the loft and a sofa bed (queen size) in the combined kitchen and living room. If there are requests, we can also arrange space for a fourth person on a mattress at the loft. Large bathroom with sauna. 28 sqm with bathroom and loft. Pool and garden are shared with the host family. A newly built outdoor gym is 100 meters from the studio.

The pool is open and heated June-August. Pool and gym are shared with us living in the house. 2 minutes walk to busstop with close connections to Örebro City and Marieberg Shopping Centre. A typical charming Swedish red cottage in lovely surroundings. Around 15 min walk to a beautiful lake Toften. Swimming, fishing, birdwatching, hiking, mountainbike ride, ice skating in the winter.
