Very hospitable host, place is clean and feels like homestay. They had prepared nice breakfast and rented good motorbike, also organized the transport from port. I loved the 4 small dogs, which loves to be pet. Nice and quiet place. Aircon was working and bed was comfortable. I even saw few fireflies in the garden!

It was hectic to find the place during check in because it was like a private compound, but the room was just at the garage part of the last house on the left side. I hope there’s a sign they’ll put next time so the other guests will know. Also, we really thought it was a 1 BR room because of the angle of the photos but it was a studio type. The induction cooker was also cracked so we were kinda scared to use it at first. Just a suggestion to the owner though to buy a new induction cooker and some pots or pans as well. Overall, location was great if most of your trips are going to Valencia by motorbike or trike. It’s also near the public market, sari-sari stores and a 7/11. They were also very kind to let us check in early once we arrived. Thank you!

Great place, nice modern unit that is well provided for travelers…. Good large fridge and an abundance of towels. Pool to use and eayt access to road to Valencia and Dumaguete. Have been to Dumaguete previously and can happily recommend Bigler. Also , great bird song in the mornings if you listen.

Had an amazing stay here at AivyMaes! The room was very cozy and so close to the beach. It was also close to restaurants, shops and an atm. Had some absolutely spectacular dives with the dive team at Apo Island. Couldn’t recommend the room and the dive team enough. Thank you for an amazing stay. Special thank you to the owner Mark and his family. They were a pleasure to deal with and made me feel right at home during my stay

Our stay at Miss Marites' Airbnb in Dumaguete was absolutely wonderful. Despite our late arrival, Miss Marites was incredibly responsive and made our check-in process seamless. The property is a haven of peace and tranquility, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our time there. The surroundings are serene, and the atmosphere is perfect for unwinding. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing escape in Dumaguete.

We loved our stay here, very peaceful surroundings and not too far from the places we wanted to visit. They let us check in early and even allowed us to use a shower in another room hours after checking out which really went above and beyond! There were also gorgeous dogs and puppies so dog lovers will love it here.

Excellent stay in the cabins of Jossette and her husband, very welcoming and friendly hosts, very good tips. Very nice view from the homes located high up and from the pool as well. We saw beautiful sunsets. Convenient to be able to rent a scooter on site to walk around the island. Peaceful atmosphere, we loved the place and the food on site is delicious

Our stay at this Mhari's was absolutely delightful! The property was charming, well-maintained, and offered a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Other than there are really no place walkable to get too, this place is great. The staff can call for transportation if needed and you can always make a deal with the jeepney drivers for the duration of your stay. There is one restaurant within walking distance and a beautiful view. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Cherry’s Guesthouse is indeed a hidden gem and we couldn’t be happier that this is where we booked. They offer motorbike rentals with free pick-up from the port; will greet you at the port with a welcome sign. Friendly staff when you arrive. You’ll have everything you need inside the room—linens are clean and bed is comfortable. They even placed an electric kettle inside for us to make coffee in the morning. There’s also a cabinet with lock and small fridge. What stood out in all of those is the fact that their backyard is a cliff that leads to the ocean—you can cliff jump or swim. BONUS are the turtles that you can find OR swim with!! Also a great spot for a sunset hang. We loved this place so much for its peaceful location and nature retreat. Will surely go back!!

10/10 ang ganda ng location, malapit sa lahat. Ate linda and her husband was so helpful especially when you want to do tour. And also, meron silang fruits and vegetables stand sa tabi, so if you want to cook your own meals perfect rin. We will definitely comeback. Thankyou ate linda! ❤️
