A great spot for a family holiday. Very close to everything, beach; shops, restaurants. The pool was lovely on the hot days. Michele added lots of extra special touches. We had a lovely time. Thank you

Delightful top floor apartment with uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean. Come rain or shine, the view is amazing! The aircon helped big time after hot and humid beach experiences. Bathrooms are modern and clean with Hans Grohe taps. UPS, torch and portable LED light came handy during power outage. Loved the extra touches of Cappuccino sachets with sugar and carton of milk. Gin & tonic glasses were a nice surprise and came in handy. Oh, and the Tupperware helped too! The Defy washing machine worked like a charm. Went home with clean laundry, yey! The gas braai gave some hassle, but was immediately attended to by host. Would replace Protex soaps in bathrooms with smaller glycerine soaps or liquid soap. All in all - a great experience and we’ll be back!

Beautiful home, the pictures don't do it justice. All the rooms are beautiful and spotless. The estate has great activities, including walking and bike trails. Ana was also very engaging, proactive and communicated well. The helper kept the house clean at all times and was friendly. The dogs also added to the fun. A few glitches like the freezer not working after arrival but Ana made a plan. We could have done with more cupboard space as we were a big family with lots of groceries and had to keep them on the counters Overall magnificent holiday... a proper fun house. Highly recommended.

The place was great, even better than the pictures. All the amenities listed were available and so much more. It’s a dream for young kids, because of the large pool and yard space to run around. The communication was great, all our questions were answered very quickly. The place was spotless and remained so for our entire stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. Definitely recommend 10/10

Jacques' place in Casa Playa truly delivers on its promise of a beachfront, modern, and luxurious stay. The space is impeccably clean, warm, and inviting—perfect for both friends and family. The quality of the furniture and appliances was excellent, and we lacked nothing during our stay. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a thoughtful complimentary bowl of biscuits, candy, and fresh fruit, along with milk and juice provided for our convenience. The warm welcome and friendliness of the staff made our experience even more enjoyable. This place is not only affordable but also offers a memorable and relaxing getaway. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful beachfront escape!

Great spot to be if you want to experience Zimbali has to offer. A proper inverter system would be great improvement

We had never stayed in an Airbnb property before and so had no idea what to expect. However, The Lilypad surpassed anything we could have imagined. The house itself was beautiful and much bigger than it seemed in the photos and Derrick and Margi are the perfect hosts. The house is spacious and very well equipped. Even the monkeys turned up to watch us eating lunch in the garden one day. It was like a wildlife documentary in reverse! We could not believe their generosity in taking our children to the airport at 5.30am after we left! If all Airbnb properties and hosts are all like this then we are hooked. You literally walk to the sea. The view is amazing. So much to do, braai area❤️. Family friendly and cozy for a couple as well. I'm definitely coming back with the family next time.

Spectacular, from the location, the views, the beach access, space, and amenities, this place is heaven for those looking for a quiet, private breakaway to a pristine area just off the M4. Also close enough to Ballito for shopping. The house is perfect for families wanting to relax and enjoy the view, and really does have all you need. Debra was also an excellent host, very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Warren's Airbnb. The check-in process was seamless thanks to his proactive instructions, which covered everything from accessing the gate to entering the property. The place was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. It had all the amenities we needed and was beautifully located right next to the beach. The central location made it easy for us to access everything we wanted. Warren was a friendly and respectful host, giving us privacy while ensuring we had everything we needed. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this beautiful place!

Ashley was a wonderful host, very helpful and good communication! The house was great had everything you needed and the open plan lives so well! Only downside there was only AC in the main bedroom but all rooms had fans. We loved our stay!

Kerry's place was a lovely accommodation to be in. We all throughly enjoyed the amenities including the pool and appreciated Kerry's communication during our stay. Will consider returning !

Janne's place really is a home away from home. The cottage is peaceful and surrounding by a wonderful garden that overlooks some of the best parts of Durban. We didn't want for anything, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials, the bed was large and comfy, the internet was fast, the aircon is very effective and the cottage was very easy to lock up and go. I highly recommend this spot when in Durban and will be back!

We had a great stay at Wayne's place! The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main beach. While the unit differed slightly from the one we originally booked, it still had everything we needed for a relaxing December holiday. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it!

The house was the most beautiful place you have ever rented. The house and furnishings were of an extremely high standard, luxurious, comfortable and every need was catered for. Beautiful entertaining area outside with swimming pool and bar. Staying in this home, was the same as staying in a luxury 5 stay hotel except it was homely, beautifully furnished and extremely spacious. l If you ever have the opportunity of staying in this beautiful home, you will not be disappointed as it exceeded all expectations.

We had an amazing time in this tastefully furnished, well kitted out home. The open plan layout and smooth flow of the house creates enough space and opportunity to use all parts of the home. The beach was so easily accessible, and the pool just as inviting. Good cleaning service and ample storage space in the kitchen, with all appliances , crockery and cutlery that one may need. We will revisit anytime. Just disappointed that it's now been changed to a minimum 3 night stay.

Rascals Rest is a little haven on the east coast , Salt rock is one of our favourite places to visit as a family ! The house is right on the main beach with easy access to the beach and tidal pool. The views are spectacular. The house is perfect for a large family and boasts optimal different spaces to entertain and eat. Isabel & Zanele were fabulous, professional and always there when we needed them! The house is well equipped with amenities, utensils and had everything we needed ! Will definitely go back and can recommend over & over !
