Vacation rentals in Shoal Lake

The 2-week stay was very pleasant for me, as I felt welcomed like I was part of a family. A trusting relationship on both sides was very important, as many things were shared, such as the use of the kitchen or living room. Overall, a very pleasant stay during which I did not feel restricted in any way. There is a good chance that I will come back again. And Andrea and Spencer are simply a great couple and great people.

We loved staying at this cabin. It's very remote and private, exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was well-stocked with amenities and was easy to find! Would defiantly stay here again! We loved the gazebo in the mornings to use, that was a unique touch to cabin life that we haven't had at other places before, was such a peaceful time staying here!

First things first we have to say WOW! Me and my husband decided to get away for a weekend and we both really enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. We were blown away by the cleanliness, beautiful views and how freindly and accommodating Ian was. Loved the note in the information book about how the cabin was crafted and made. The pride and craftsmanship that was put into this place really shows. You can tell Ian and his wife Lorna both care about their cabin and the people that rent it from them. The cabin itself was so comfortable and we felt right at home. It is definitely an outdoor enthusiasts dream! We checked ice conditions for ice fishing, went snowshoeing, went to riding mountain to see the bison and visited clear lake. Lots of beautiful scenery, very private. Loved the fact that you hear nothing, no highways, no busy streets. Felt like the perfect getaway! We have already been thinking of which date we would like to book again in the near future. CJ’s Country Inn was the perfect place for our Christmas Holiday! We felt right at home & really enjoyed our stay! We appreciated that holiday decorations & other thoughtful touches throughout!!

Our second time staying here while in the area to visit family and it met all expectations. Jenn was very helpful and the place is so spacious and well equipped. The peace and solitude of the property was a welcome break.

Leah was an excellent hostess. We were greeted personally and felt immediately welcome. She helped us with all questions and problems and we had a great time in Olha. The house is very secluded, but was just right for us.
