Villa vacation rentals in Shkodra Lake

Just the most idyllic and beautiful space to recharge. Goran is by far the best host I've ever encountered. It really feels like staying with a long lost friend that gives you plenty of space and privacy. The breakfasts in the morning are just amazing and so varied. I've come back lighter and so full of energy. For runners the villa has some beautiful traffic free running routes (just a couple if protective dogs to dodge on the way). The perfect place to recharge away from everything but close enough to everything? (definitely recommend hiring a car)

This house is very good for those people, who tired from noisy cities. Inspite of the closeness to the road and sea the silence of the surroundings is great. Every morning you can see ocean liners, entering the bay and returning back in the evenings. View from the both balconies is amazing. Nearest mini-market is about 1km from the house toward Prcanj centre. There you can find practically all you need for everyday needs. Voli or big Aroma supermarkets are in Kotor city. We recommend Vila Marija restaurant in the centre of the village. There you can eat and swim. Also we had a good dinner in Boka bay restaurant which is closer to house than Vila Marija. As regard to the house itself- it's very cosy, it has two floors, two good balconies, three badrooms. Everything you need for everyday use you can find in it. Two air conditioners helped us in hot days. There were one shower room with a toilet on the first floor and one more toilet on the second floor.

Our family had a lovely stay at Nicolaus' Hidden Gem. The villa itself is cozy, clean, spacious and well furnished (perfect for longer stays). We especially love the expansive green space surrounding the villa. Our son looks forward to feeding the animals every morning and afternoon. There are ducks, geese, guinea fowls, and a puppy in the garden. Just as pictured. Our host Mateo is very friendly and helpful, plus speaks really good English. Location wise, there are two good sized supermarkets and fruits/veggie shops just 5-mins walk away. Easy walk to the town center as well. It's right in the middle of the city but it doesn't feel like it due to the expansive garden... a "hidden gem" it truly is.

We had a beautiful stay at Sabah and Sonilla’s place. The home is very well decorated, has an incredible view and very peaceful. The hosts were responsive, friendly and happy to provide local suggestions. They were also happy to accommodate our late arrival/check out which was much appreciated. Would recommend!

This was a great stay - the house is huge (plenty of room for two families) and the pictures are a true representation. Milos was exceptionally responsive and communicated really helpfully and clearly. The house is walking distance to Old Kotor town - but it is a good 25 mins walk. Great views along the way although the road is narrow and some local drivers terrifying. The only mildly negative points is that it did feel like we were staying after the house had been through a long and busy season. Hopefully it can be given a deep clean and some maintenance in the winter months. Overall, highly recommended.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay! This home is located a lovely distance from Kotor -- close enough for a long (~1 hour) walk or short drive -- and a short drive from Perast. This neighborhood is much more quiet than Kotor or Perast but with the same views. Budimir was the perfect host and is the reason why Airbnbs can be special. He met us for check in, arranged a (great) boat tour for us the next day, made us an incredible breakfast and dinner at his private restaurant downstairs, let us use his kayak, gave us local recommendations, and generally just made our experience incredible. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend it wholeheartedly. I only wish our stay had been longer.

We had the most amazing time at Villa Old Castle! There were six of us in our travel group and we reserved the entire castle for our five-day stay. Filip and his family were incredibly kind, and helpful, and went above and beyond when they made us a traditional dinner and shared their homemade grappa and wine with us. I highly recommend booking the entire place for your stay if you can. We loved having the castle all to ourselves. The pool area and restaurant on the main floor were great areas for us to gather all together, and the separate apartments gave us our privacy when we needed time to relax on our own. Filip and his family were phenomenal hosts who went out of their way to make sure we had an excellent stay.

We booked this plus the adjoining property for a large family holiday. We really loved both houses, the setting was superb with gorgeous views across the bay. Perfectly located for Kotor (if you have a car - the walk is approx 30 minutes and involves watching carefully for cars sharing the narrow road with you). The houses are very well appointed inside, and the terrace/jetty is a real winner. We were blessed with great weather for late Oct/early Nov and could swim in the bay in front of the house. The host also provided paddle boards, with kayaks available for rent nearby. There is also a mini market a couple of mins' walk away. Nothing but praise for the hosts, who communicated promptly and patiently answered all our questions.

A great place to stay, exactly like what the see in the picture or more. you have lot more space, as its designed minimalistic. Very happy with the stay. The pool is always clean with filtering system etc. staying with kids, we had a nice time in the pool. The location is great, beaches near by the place are very nice, its a must try for all.

The Villa was gorgeous and Christofer was above and beyond the most incredible host. We were incredibly delayed with the worst flight mechanical issues. We landed in Split, rather than Dubrovnik. All our luggage was lost as well. I updated Christofer of the continuous delays and lost luggage, and now the drive from Split (not Dubrovnik as planned) He was amazing. We lost contact for a bit during our travels and it was getting very late, but Christofer made sure we were safe and checked to see if we needed anything, even clothing shop suggestions since we had no clothes. We arrived at 0100 and used the key pad to enter without any difficulties. Needless to say, the home wonderful. We then immediately sat on the patio with a bottle of wine, taking in the stars and view of the water. It was a wonderful place to spend our time while in Montenegro. The Villa, the atmosphere, the location and the host are all highly recommended!

We absolutely loved our stay!! Couldn’t recommend this airbnb more. As a group of 7, this suited us perfectly, and we made full use of the space, including some great BBQs in the outdoor space. Everything was as described and as in the photos, and the hosts were brilliant! Going above and beyond to greet us upon arrival, help us with car rental for the week, and anything else we needed. The place is also secluded enough that it feels super private and special. We hope to come back for another group trip - Montenegro is truly beautiful

Matija was a great great host and a good friend of us now. Always responsive by the minute, thinking everything for us ahead of time. He even picked us up from the airport as a friendly gesture, took us to shopping, found us taxis and did many more favors i might have missed. Thanks for being so friendly, flexible and helpfull the whole time!

Zeljko was a great guy and made us comfortable as he can. He was nice and kind to us. Welcome gifts were brilliant, view of Kotor Bay seen from balcony and the pool was also brilliant. Unfortunately we couldn't use the pool due to weather conditions, however me and my wife will definitely come again next summer to stay more than this time.

I booked here for my best friends surprise 30th and it exceeded all expectations!! First time visiting Albania and Ambra helped me so much with every question I had. She was so helpful, always answered every questions and just was so responsive. Never had such an amazing airbnb host. Recommend places to go. I needed a decoration company and she put me in touch with someone and it was perfect. The views are insane. The restaurant near by Pelikani is just also top quality service and food. All of it was perfect. The house was so comfortable. I have no bad points. My recommendation would be to do lots of research if this is your first time travelling but also book with Ambra as she helped with everything.. taxis, supermarkets etc. we had a small power cut as of a storm and we had an electrician with us within 20 minutes. You must come here!!!.

Miroslav is an amazing host! very friendly and helpful! if we're ever in Montenegro again Iope we can stay at his again. the place is nice and modern and very short walk to the beach.

My family and I, 8 of us, had a fantastic stay in villa Dolaca/ Leona. The most attentive housekeepers, the pool was cleaned throughout the week and we were made to feel welcome. There is a need for a car unless you’re very fit as the vertical hill up to the apartment is probably the highest I’ve driven but we did walk it a couple of times. It was a great location to base yourself to explore the beautiful surrounds of Montenegro. We were very sad to leave. Thanks Amra and team.

I was at Sonja and Neno's Villa Nera with five friends at the end of June. I can only report absolutely positively about the space and the hosts. The place was even nicer in my opinion than it looks on the photos. The hosts Sonja and Neno are always available, helpful and very friendly. The view you have in the villa is unique. If you rent a rental car you can also reach everything in Budva within 10-15 minutes. Even if you take a taxi into town, you don't pay the world either. We were all very satisfied and agree that we want to come back next year. Regards, Luca

The country, the house, the hostess - simply a dream. We were there for 10 days with two adults and one child. Fitted perfect. The house looks exactly as shown in the pictures. You have a wonderful view of the fjord, can spend the evenings on the beautiful furniture on the terrace and look out over the mountains at breakfast. The location is ideal for us. 20 min. to Kotor, 20 min. to Budva, 200 min. to Tivat. In the immediate vicinity of the Lovćen National Park with cool activities. The equipment of the house is excellent and everything is thought of. From washing machine to coffee machine, blender, toaster, hairdryer etc. to cotton buds, we wanted for nothing. The communication with Sanja was consistently friendly, appreciative and professional. She is totally flexible and also helps with issues outside her area of responsibility. In short, an absolutely successful package. We are already thinking about when we would like to come back.
