Janet's place was larger than expected, and very clean. We enjoyed her selection of teas, and the package of cookies upon arrival was a pleasant surprise. The location is quiet and a short drive to Gibsons. Two quick tips: close the wooden slat blinds if you prefer a darker room for sleeping, and let Janet know in advance if you would like her to prepare the sofa bed for sleeping.

Great for a small family or a group of friends. Lots of space to spread out. The home was spotless. The ocean views were beautiful, and there was beach access as well Would highly recommend

Everyone in our family enjoyed our stay in Judy's place. It's well stocked, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed the games and had time to even use the BBQ in the back. Definitely would recommend this place. All the rooms had comfortable, large beds.

Sara’s house is absolutely wonderful! We could not have picked a better house: the location and views are idyllic. Very quiet. The house has everything you would need and it’s all to such a high quality. The weather wasn’t the best but this didn’t stop us having the best time and it made us stay and make the most of the house and we had a relaxing time. Highly recommend this accommodation to annoying and wished we didn’t live so far away as I want to stay there again and again!

From the moment we contacted Jane, she was welcoming and kind. We found everything we needed in her home. Our dogs loved the local walks and so did we! It was so comfortable, from the beds to the living room, we didn’t want to leave!

We enjoyed a six day family stay in Moonshell cottage. The cleanliness was superb and the bedding luxurious. The showers and personal care items very enjoyable. We prepared all our meals there including the barbecue. The area is great for dogs as you can easily walk out your door and around the surrounding neighborhood. Just watch out for all the rabbits!

What a sweet spot! Very nice layout for enjoying the fire and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Very sweet Christmas decor. Hosts were kind and proactive. This is Airbnb from the old days, a sweet place that someone actually lives in with plenty of local recommendations.

We had a fabulous time with our kids at Andrew’s house, it’s situated in a lovely quiet setting with a balcony to take in the magical views of the beach. The house had everything we needed, to enjoy our stay. We had a short walk to the beach and lovely walk in the forest. All local shops within 5mins drive in Parksville and would also hugely recommend the Parksville community park for the kids to burn off energy. I would hugely recommend The Mount Arrowsmith Brewery for lunch , great service .

2 families with kids stayed here and loved it! Everything suited our needs, especially all the bedrooms, space in the house, well manicured outdoor space, and proximity to the beautiful, almost private beach. It was very relaxing and we would love to return again. Tanner and Ryan were very good at communicating with us, and helping us when needed. Very friendly hosts 😁

Exquisite and immaculate home with comfy beds & pillows, and lovely linens. Perfect for a relaxing weekend, inside and out — very well cared for. We met with our adult kids for the weekend and we felt at home in the best way! The gardens were in early spring bloom and the landscaping and patio areas were inviting. Live orchids in the bedrooms & bathrooms, plants in the kitchen — Nice touch. Impressive 6-burner stove, fridge & convection oven — we all love to cook and the kitchen was a clutter free expansive area we could totally enjoy. Lots of firewood provided, and easily accessible stores to refurbish the supply. It was a rainy couple of days, so we had a crackling fire afternoon & evening. Large table for playing games and a great selection of games and books to read in the library. Plenty of room for 5 adults to spread out and relax. Great to have walking trails close by for our dog. Monica was super — providing everything we needed, and more to ensure our stay was the best!

Nicole’s “carriage house” is exactly as described, absolutely beautiful, peaceful and private. Very well equipped kitchen, laundry, bathroom etc. Nicole has thought of everything you may need. We loved our 4 night stay and visit around the island, then to come back each day to relax at the carriage house. 10/10

The place and location was amazing. Everything was perfect. The outside eating area with BBQ was better than expected/realized. The entire place looked newly renovated. The bay was great - just plan your water activities there according to the tide, because at low tide there is no water. Great location travelling to Madeira Park and Sechelt or beyond. We are looking forward to returning in the future.

Everyone loved this beautiful house. Lots of space for kids to play, and the house was equipped, furnished and stocked so thoughtfully. Michelle was so friendly and responsive and made sure we're enjoying the place to the fullest. As a bonus, kids got to play with the house cats in the backyard!

Patti-Jo's home is amazing in every aspect! It is very well appointed with comfy beds and couches and fully stocked kitchen. It has fabulous paintings and decor throughout. The view from the balcony is spectacular! Patti-Jo was a wonderful host, reaching out to ask if we needed anything. We had an amazing time at Christina’s on Bowen! The view is spectacular and it had everything we needed - bbq, condiments, even thoughtful touches like dog bed, towel, blanket and bowls. We want to come back! Thanks again for the crab also!

Beautiful home + location. Exactly as advertised. Everything was clean, nicely maintained and straight forward. Any questions asked were promptly responded to. We stayed with our 3 children (7yr, 5yr, 1yr) and it was very comfortable and spacious.

Liz’s house is amazing. First, Liz is great. She’s warm, attentive, a quick communicator and an all-around nice and interesting woman. She has created a remarkable “retreat” in a large, comfortable, beautiful house. It’s a house with personality unlike some newer AirBnbs that are cookie cutter with zero personality. Extra special for the seven of us were the magical goats, the pregnant British Shepherd and other dogs and cats. We had so much fun feeding peanuts to the goats and giving treats to the dogs. The outdoor gardens are lovely and colorful. Three little barns in the distance and the perimeter of the house and deck are lit up at night with sweet lights! The kitchen has lots of good stuff that made our shopping easier, the bathrooms are well supplied with everything you could need. We loved the house and thought of it as home for our lovely week on Vancouver Island! Thanks Liz!!

What a great spot to get away with friends for a long weekend. Alison & Graham's home is beautiful, only rivaled by the scenic views out every window. The beds are comfy, the home spacious and the hot tub at night was fantastic. It is a very short drive to the downtown shopping/restaurant area too - while still being very private and tucked away. Could not recommend this place enough.

This is an amazing property! The view is amazing. The cottage is so cozy. The kitchens are incredibly well stocked in both the suite and cottage. The beds are comfy. The hot tub/spa area is great. And while the walk between the two houses was a bit nerve racking in the rain/dark, the path is well lit and has tread along the way, keeping us safe. The doors are a little sticky to both houses, so at times we would get stuck outside, but eventually we were able to figure them out. But Chris and Jenn were great communicators and were able to assist when we needed it.
