Bev is such a sweet and efficient host, her quick response and stunning home is definitely a home away from home. With the amenities making your stay all the more comfortable. Bev’s home is our designated place when visiting Durban. Thank you Bev for once again hosing us.

This unit was very comfortable, clean and well set out. Having a dishwasher , washing machine and tumble dryer was so convenient , in addition to the beautiful kitchen with all the necessary appliances. You can’t ask for better sea views - enjoying a cup of coffee or a meal on the balcony with the sound of the waves is food for the soul. Private access to the beach without having to use a car every time was an absolute plus! Gillian was amazing from the time we booked with clear communication on all aspects , responding quickly to any questions and was extremely helpful but not overbearing at the same time. We had a fantastic family break in this very clean, comfortable and well kitted unit which has been well thought out. The complex is well looked after and access to a swimming pool after a hot day on the beach was awesome too. Highly recommmended.

We had a fantastic stay at Ishara's place. The unit is really fantastically kitted out with Smeg appliances, the fridge has a built in ice maker, quality cutlery and crockery, it all really made it just that extra bit special. It was great having DSTV for the rainy days and when the sport was on. The most amazing thing about the unit is the location and views though. From the patio, and from the pool and braai area , you have the most stunning 180 degree seaviews to die for. We had continuous whale and dolphin sightings every day, often coming really close to shore. The estate/complex was really quiet too, and the unit is nice and private, being the last unit in that row. Ishara was great in terms of communication, really accommodating and welcoming, being flexible with the checkin arrangements for us when we arrived later than planned, as well as suggesting places to go and visit in the area. We'd definitely stay there again when looking for accommodation in that area.

The stay was for business purposes, the feedback received from the occupants was positive would recommend. The host Aneke was very helpful. Thank you once again.

Our stay at Barefoot was the best; it was the first time in my life that I had found a cosy place to stay that had everything you could possibly need for a vacation home. I'm impressed with Sarah's performance and her team; nothing matters more to me than a prompt answer from the host. We were really secure. Great place for a peaceful getaway. A few steps to the beach. Quiet, relaxing and safe atmosphere. 24hr guards gave us peace of mind.

A beautiful family vacation at a beautiful place.Its such a serene and peaceful place and everything was provided for our stay even cleaning detergents abd washing powder I was very impressed.

The house is beautiful, looks just like the pictures. Beautiful views from the lounge and two bedrooms. Jacuzzi and Pool were fabulous. Everything you could possibly need is available in the house. The host even left a little bag of treats to enjoy which was a lovely gesture. I would book this spot again.

Check-in process was seamless. Ross was kind enough to allow an earlier check-in. This was so helpful as it was raining quite disruptively and we had nowhere to go. He met us at the property, gave us a tour of the house and made some local recommendations. Great experience. The house was perfect for the 7 of us. The five rooms and en-suite bathrooms are spacious and comfy, and of course pet friendly. The property has everything you need, and is well looked after. We visited the beach close by, but decided to swim at the main beach (blue flag status with lifeguards) about a 3km drive from the property, with plenty of parking. We really enjoyed our stay, and loved the quality family time. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.

I had the most amazing experience celebrating my birthday at this beautiful beach house! The property is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere that made my stay incredibly peaceful. The house itself is spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. What really made the experience even better was the host. They were so welcoming, accommodating, and attentive to all my needs. It was clear they truly care about providing a memorable stay for their guests. Every detail was taken care of, and I felt completely at home. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect birthday getaway. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil escape by the sea!

Our stay at Shangri-la was exceptional. Check-in was easy with staff offering assistance to offload our trailer. The views from the house breathtaking and the garden is well maintained. Access to the beach was easy and allowed us to go for morning walks. The beach was quite and we were often the only people there. The ladies that cleaned the house were always friendly and made us feel right at home. Liz was always available for help and made sure we were well looked after. I would recommend Shangri-la 10/10

The house is even better than described. Beautiful, clean and huge. Security is also top notch. We enjoyed our stay and it really felt like a "home away from home". Pennington itself, is very quiet. Beaches were clean and empty, no noise or traffic, has some shops closeby. Top house in a Top location!

Brent's place was exactly what we were looking for: convenient, direct access to the beach, close to the restaurants and dive centre, and with amazing views (and the calming sound of the waves). Communication with Brent went smoothly, which was much appreciated as we booked véry last minute (about 3 hours before arrival). The flat was a bit dusty when we arrived, as - understandably - they could not get it cleaned before our arrival on such short notice. But that was rectified the next morning, and then it was sparkling clean. We will definitely consider staying at the flat again next time we drive down to Scottburgh.

A beautiful place with everything you need to have a comfortable stay

What a great experience. If you're an early riser who enjoys a good sunrise, set your alarm clock and make your way out of bed to the balcony. I promise it's worth it. Among the best sunrises I've watched and filmed! AND, an absolute bonus on our final early morning on the balcony... Dolphins surfing in the waves, whales coming up for air, and even potential shark breaches in the background! Plus I must mention the wealth of nature sounds and bird life in view. Between Jared and Erika, they did a great job hosting us. Definitely visiting again in the near future.
