Smoking-friendly vacation rentals in Savanne District

I never actually met Julie while I was there but contacted her several times before the trip and her responses were always quick and very helpful. During my stay at the apartment I met Nita and her husband. They’re both incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were super helpful with any queries I had. I was staying on my own and it was my first time in Mauritius but they made me feel right at home. Even small touches like providing delicious fresh fruits on a couple of mornings, was very kind of them and much appreciated (a lovely surprise to wake up to!) The apartment itself is lovely and well maintained with excellent wifi. It’s in a quiet area. The bed has a very comfortable, firm mattress. The roof-top terrace is huge and a lovely spot to relax/sunbath. The kitchen has everything you need and the whole apartment was very clean. They have a shop at the end of the road (less than a minute walk), very handy for snacks and essentials :) Would happily stay here again. 10/10!

Anne and Dominique are exceptional hosts! They are very welcoming, making themselves available when needed and are always ready to share tips to make the stay even more enjoyable! We had a great family holiday. The accommodation is great, the view is magnificent, the pool is a real asset! The apartment is really great! It is very cozy with modern furnishings, very clean and equipped with everything for everyday needs. It is very good located so you can get everywhere fast by car. The washing machine and WiFi work perfectly and the shower was sufficiently hot. Check-in and check-out were very easy. An absolute highlight are the large and beautiful terrace and garden which was also super for our children to move freely. The contact with the host Liegh-Ann was exceptionally good. We could contact her at any time on any matter. The price-performance ratio is phantastic. My family and I would definitely come back again! Lovely Greetings from the whole family! :-)

Priscilla was an excellent host, who made communication easy and promptly. A few simple amendments to our booking were done efficiently and without fuss. Any questions were answered and dealt with immediately. In the meantime our host had left some Christmas presents wrapped on the bed for my grandsons! They loved them, and it made the family feel very welcome indeed. Thank you Priscilla, we hope to be a return guest very soon.

We stayed 3 nights at Dorine and Dean's with our 2 children. They were extremely warm and welcoming with us. Dean cooked the fruits of his beautiful garden to show us. They also invited us for a walk with their dogs to show us the surroundings of their home. We were greeted with attention. It feels like they love hosting. The accommodation is very clean and much more beautiful and spacious than what we see in the photos. The pool is very nice and well kept. The vegetation of the garden is fabulous, you can feel completely elsewhere. The chickens,the ducks, and the bats delighted the kids. It's a great location, a 10-minute drive from Mahebourg and the beautiful Blue Bay beach. Thanks Dorine and Dean!

Everything was just perfect: from the communication, the warm welcome and the wonderful place itself. We just loved everything about it: The 360-degree-view, the comfy furnitures, the tasteful design. The big trees in the yard hosts some cute birds which gave a paradise-like feeling. Julie gave us some really helpful recommendations which we all tried to. Loved the local restaurants close by. There’s also a big supply close by where we bought everything we needed to make breakfast in the spacy, well-equipped kitchen. Also, there’s a nice French bakery close by. The filtered water as well as the washing machine are a nice addition. We would recommend a rental car to get around as the place is a bit off the main areas. Though if you don’t mind walking, the local beach and the Tamarin beach are within about a 30-minute walk. We hope we can come back some time! Definitely one of our favorite Airbnbs so far!

We loved the very warm stay at Sandra's and the whole family's ( Desire her husband her children, Jean Baptiste her daughters Manon and Elisa Julien her son-in-law and Doriane. Always ready to answer our multiple questions of all kinds... we are curious about everyone's customs... and there we were served... The room is spacious ( a good bed) with a beautiful bathroom, a beautiful view of the ocean and the cane fields. The place is very quiet and well centered to visit the whole south ( Chamarel Souillac Gris Gris Bois Chéri Grand Bassin The gorges of the Great Black River ( hike) Grand Morne...and the whole south coast. Everyone has taken great care of us. We felt at home so artistically decorated. Sandra had prepared a beautiful plate of pineapple upon our arrival and finally we were invited to come back from another residence to share Christmas Eve with all the family. Thank you all for the memories of staying at your place.

Richie is very available and attentive! Her mom is lovely and made us a little dish for the evening, a nice surprise. The room is spacious, clean and the netflix tv ^^

Thanks to Akash and Aleksandra for their warm welcome, the stay went quickly so we are there at the Kowlessur residence, it feels like home. Spacious and comfortable rooms with air conditioning, well equipped. Beautiful beach and waterfall nearby, grocery store nearby, bus stops nearby if you are on foot. The place is fairly priced, clean and close to a couple restaurants and the beach. The manual parking gate is a bit of hassle but overall we enjoyed the place.

The best apartment that I've visited in Mauritius. Everything was perfect, the apartment, the pool and the sea. Just amazing.

Outstanding!!! Can not recommend this place highly enough. Firstly the communication by host (Joel) was fantastic, always very prompt and helpful. Secondly, the apartment is perfect, 3 great bedrooms plus 2 large bathrooms, huge open plan lounge / dining / kitchen, lovely sunny balcony that looked out over pool (we didn’t actually use the pool but did look lovely!) plus an out of the way laundry just off the kitchen. The apartment had everything you need plus more!!! Thirdly, location was wonderful. Easy walking distance to beach, shops, restaurants etc The only sad thing about this apartment is that we had to leave it. If you’re planning a trip to Mauritius then you really must check out this apartment.

I spent 2 weeks alone in the accommodation. It was very sweet which was really great was the communication. As long as we always got back to you directly and all kinds of problems were helped directly. Due to the many windows, there is a lot of natural light, but it also gets light very quickly in the morning, which did not disturb me. There are also a lot of power outlets. The beach access is very close and within walking distance. I would come back but bring someone with me.

We had a great time at Rhitish's, apartment close to all amenities, well located to visit the south of the island, with a terrace to enjoy the magnificent sunsets, the more cleaning is done every day , Rhitish welcomed us warmly, I would recommend it in a second.
