What a great spot to stay near Góis. Its small but it has everything you may need besides a perfect location near the river. Tomé is a fantastic host and give us lots of great tips.

We spent three very pleasant days in Casa Vale de Juiz. We were very well received by Ana. Very spacious, well equipped, and clean house, ideal for families. The house has central heating and a fireplace contributing to your comfort. Our son loved to enjoy the outdoor space and see the animals. The host was always very helpful and available having offered us hot bread for breakfast. Repeating experience.

Great place to stay and enjoy :) the host (Sra Adelaide) was amazing, very helpful and responsive. The house is perfectly decorated, very comfortable and with all the amenities needed to enjoy a perfect weekend or longer stays. Would give 6 stars if possible ! Thank you for everything

My husband and I and 2 chihuahuas checked in very quickly. Easily found a place to stay. We were met by Natalino, a very good-natured and kind host. The house is located in a beautiful and picturesque place. The view from the terrace is incredible. If you want to relax from the hustle and bustle of the city, from people, slow down and connect with nature, we definitely recommend this house. The house was clean, beautiful and very cozy! Nearby there are places worth seeing, such as the Serra de Estrela reserve. Our vacation was in peace and quiet. We will definitely come back for you again. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Wonderful hosting for my family!!! Joanne and Paul had like a family for us in the two months that we have stayed in their cozy and super functional home. The house is equipped with everything you need and much more. Availability of Joanne and Paul are excellent even in the middle of the night when my son had fever she hop by with local hony and tea that I asked if she have by chance, such a kindness that warm our hearts. Also, Joanne let us know all the carnavls and local attractions in the same month. The villa is new and all the amenities are perfect, even a central heating system that kept us warm in the cold nights. A wonderful pool and organized garden that the kids can play around. The villa located in a village with all the things you need, small grocery store, Butcher, playground and 10 minutes from Arganil. Great location with lots of trail roots to nature a step from the door and beautiful rural sunsets.

We would rate Carla’s place as one of the best and most valuable accommodations we’ve stayed in. The house was impeccably clean, modern, and equipped with everything we needed to feel completely at home. It was both comfortable and unforgettable—in a word, perfect! Carla is a thoughtful and gracious host who provided us with all the information necessary for an exceptional stay. Her communication was outstanding; she was always quick to respond to any questions we had. The house looks exactly as it does in the photos, which is a rare and delightful bonus. We wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful home to anyone looking for an amazing experience.

the space was like the photos! all very clean and tidy. the house although small is very spacious and has the spaces very well used. The room is very comfortable. We always had the house at an excellent temperature. Although the space is humid, especially at the bottom, the dehumidifier does its job and makes the environment comfortable.

We were moving from the USA and needed a place for a few weeks. We were greeted warmly by the owners and felt welcome right away. Our Portuguese is extremely basic, but the hostess had a little English and Google translate did the rest. Any of our needs and requests were always taken care of with a smile. The house is just as described; very roomy and homey. The kitchen has everything needed for a short or extended stay. The wood burning stove in the kitchen makes it cozy and plenty of wood is provided. The orange tree right outside the door provided us with daily Vitamin C. The views are breathtaking and the surroundings provide a perfect setting for quiet reflection. We were sad to leave after 6.5 weeks. We cannot express our thanks to Pedro and his family to open this lovely home, make us feel so welcome and introduce us to the Portuguese culture; we are so grateful; we are so grateful. We can highly recommend this quaint little house to anyone!

Had a great stay for one night. The instructions to arrive were clear, and the hosts were very flexible with check-in and check-out times. Adri and Petra are a super friendly couple, making the experience even better. The place is peaceful and well-maintained, and it's especially great for dog owners, with a large outdoor space for dogs to run around. Would definitely recommend!

It was 4 wonderful nights in this space as well. The whole experience, from before the booking, to the check-out was simple and with absolutely nothing to point out. From Mr. António, who from the first minute proved super available to answer questions and help in everything, to Isabel, who takes care of the house with extreme care, and who was an authentic sympathy. We were 4 adults and a little bigudo, and we had a great days of rest and peace, in a home and outdoor space extremely well cared for and with all amenities. We want to go back, no doubt!

Fantastic place, for 2 adults and 3 kids we loved our weekend. Super relaxing and the view from the balcony is something else. The co-host took us to the house to show us around, she was extremely friendly and always available! a great place to stay, we will for sure try it during the summer.

Mr. Abrão was always super helpful, introduced the house and made it easier at the time of check in. The space was perfect , even better than in the photos. The areas of the house are large and spacious, it has all the necessary things (well-equipped kitchen,hairdryer, dish and clothes machine…) and still left us a coffee box as a courtesy There is barbecue (interior), billiards, ping pong table, matrecos and the heated pool is cherry on cake. I also want to highlight the cleanliness of the space that was impeccable. Comfortable beds and pillows. Safe for children and animals. The only negative point was only the network signal that was weak and did not allow much the use of social networks but this in no way affected our experience in the property of Andreia and Mr. Abrão. We will recommend to friends and family and hope to return soon!

Beautiful private spot. Paul was amazingly helpful and communicative, any queries answered immediately but also he didnt invade our personal space. Perfect balance. Amazing host. Very relaxed and the house had all the amenities we could want. Definitely recommend.

The house has good conditions, better than it looks from the photographs. It is isolated and perfect for a few days with a group of friends or family. The outdoor area around the pool is super nice for barbecues. We have a few incredible days! Fátima was very careful and asked us during the stay if everything was going well. I recommend it!

Francisco's house is a wonder: spacious and cool even in August, with the pool in front that is fantastic, and on a huge and fascinating estate, with thousands of things to do and see, even kayaking on the lake that has been formed in an old quarry, or an incredible art space. Francisco is charming ( as well as his wife I met too), friendly, available and also a very interesting person with an inspiring project. I recommend it to everyone.

The little house was very cosy, with various heating devices which made the stay even more comfortable.

We loved staying here and would like to again! The house was just as described and within walking distance to local grocery stores and restaurants. I loved waking up to see the beautiful fog roll in over the mountains and a herd of sheep doing their morning grazing. When it rains you can see the river from the balcony and it creates a relaxing sound. We also enjoyed getting cozy in front of the fireplace at night. More than anything, we appreciated António’s mother, who was very sweet and brought us pastries and chocolates. António was very kind and answered any questions we had right away. His father was nice as well! The cleaning service after two weeks was also a lovely touch. This place is a perfect getaway if you are looking to de-stress and be near nature and friendly people. The only thing I will note is if you are coming in winter it can be a bit cold (not surprising-it is winter!) so bring some warmer comfort clothes to wear around the house.

It was a short stay, but I really enjoyed the village where Mr. Pedro. It was very sweet and always available and useful for something that was necessary. An experience to be repaired no doubt. Reclaimed house very pleasant and welcoming, with a breathtaking view.

The bungalow was brilliant. We made use of the pool and the villagers were very friendly, leaving us their sweetcorn to try. The little bar in the village was a bonus and the surroundings were perfect and quiet. Would love to come back one day.

Very cozy, clean space, the area of the house is very good, private, an incredible silence, ideal for resting. We took our dog, who loved to walk loose and at ease around the house. Rui was from the very start very helpful, always available to answer us. Village gave us great references to restaurants and wines in the area. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, firewood for the salamander, the Rui left us free to enjoy all the drinks that are at home. We will certainly be back. I recommend it!

Thelma is a great host. Timely and quick to communicate. The house is very spacious, with a beautiful view of Coimbra and is located in the center in a very quiet and peaceful street. The house is well furnished with a modern and functional style. Highly recommended.
