Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Santiago de Cuba

We had an excellent stay. First Laidania was great in responding very fast and accurately to our questions. The area is very nice and quiet very close to this exclusive neighborhood called Vistaalegre. It is also 10 minute drive to downtown and the taxi is always available because the driver lives across the street, how convenient! The house had 2 private rooms with very clean full bathrooms. On the roof (terrace) there is this small vineyard that gives great grapes, shade for the afternoon siesta and great vine. If you are going to Santiago de Cuba I highly recommend this place.

We booked Yanets place in Santiago for a week and we were really happy about it! Great location, great host and nice spacious house. We enjoyed our breakfast (pancakes, fresh fruit, eggs and great coffee!) in the morning sun on the patio before we went to salsaclass. Yanet gave us recommendations for the best paladares and dance lacations. La Claqueta is definitely a winner ;) thanks for the great stay!

The house is in an excellent location and fully complies with the description, it is very clean, the host is very kind, he waited for me late to check in, he is available to provide all the information in case you need anything. The room is very spacious, the bed is comfortable, the air conditioning and the ceiling fan are definitely a plus, definitely a nice house a short distance from Parque Cespedes, if I return to Santiago, I still choose it,

We had such a pleasant stay in Yadira’s home. Everything was squeaky clean, and just as described. Also we had power consistently. In Cuba there tend to be a lot of power outages, but not in this area for some reason. This is a very walkable area and we enjoyed being able to easily walk to the center of town. Yadira was very kind and easy to communicate with. She gave us lots of tips for what to do and how to navigate the area. So grateful!

I had a great stay at this property. The host was friendly, helpful, and made sure I had everything I needed. One of the biggest positives for me was that the power stayed on consistently, which was important. The WiFi worked well during the day, but it’s worth noting that the host turns it off at night. If power and air conditioning in the rooms are important to you, then I would recommend this place.

Yamila took care of everything from the first moment. I asked him for a taxi to pick me up at the airport and there he was at the agreed time, although he had to wait more than 1 hour, he didn't put problems. Yamila is always ready to help you in everything you may need, it tells you the particularities of the Cuban, it gives you directions so that your trip is unforgettable, very attentive. The stay was overall pleasant. Craig was great in communicating and knowledgeable about the area. I will recommend it. There was running water at all times. Kitchen was functional.

I honestly do not think that I can write a review that will do justice to the amazing experience that we had at Octavio and Leida's home. I've stayed in many Airbnbs throughout Cuba and this was the best one for so many reasons. The hosts are so genuine and sweet and enthusiastically helped us out with anything we needed, going way above and beyond what hosts normally do. Leida's cooking is fantastic, the location is perfect as it is within walking distance from downtown Santiago and tucked away on a quiet street. Octavio speaks English very well and has a wonderful sense of humour while his wife, Leida, is (as cheesy as it sounds) a ray of sunshine. My group of six stayed at their casa for 2 weeks and always came home to clean sheets and towels. I would recommend Leida and Octavio to anyone who wants an authentic experience in Santiago. Their generosity and kindness cannot be beat!

Entire house on a second floor. Very friendly people. The breakfast is very delicious. 100% recommended.
