When you step out of the Airbnb, you'll have this beautiful view of the ocean you can walk to. The location is fantastic and the hosts were so accommodating and responsive! You can hear the footsteps of the family that lives above you but it didn't bother us at all. The room felt larger than they looked in the listing pictures as well. Overall great place to stay!

EJ and Nancy have such a lovely property. We easily felt we had our own space. You can tell that they've been doing this for years, and have a great way of making everything comfortable for guests. Our two kids had space to spread out, the playground is not directly next to the front door of the apartment, but you can see it through the yard's trees & hear them more or less within ear shot. Kitchen was amply supplied and set up, & there are plenty of storage spaces and creature comforts to make the stay feel like home. Beds were comfortable & clean, super comfortable pillows. The unit itself doesn't get a ton of natural light, but to be expected in redwoods. The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, we had a nice time chatting with them. Wonderful hosts, they felt like family. Their little dog is so so sweet and friendly as well, my kids loved the dog. Great location, easy to get to surrounding areas and Santa Cruz proper. Would return!

Erik & Marina’s studio apartment was beautiful. It was easy to find and the neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. It was located near everything we wanted to do in Santa Cruz and only a short 40-ish minute drive down to Monterey. Erik and Marina were kind enough to welcome us with some breakfast goodies that saved us a few mornings when we’re just too exhausted for breakfast out. The apartment is located above their garage that is attached to the home but it felt private nonetheless. We hope they are willing to welcome us again whenever we are in the area.

Lisa and her partner were very accommodating. I was between my home that sold fast and my new place pending. They helped me secure additional housing and accommodated everything I asked. Very nice people, hopefully friends for life.

We had a great stay. The house is beautiful, peaceful and we felt right at home. Gabriel responded to our message quickly and even help us when we didn’t have coffee. He’s a great host with a beautiful house. 100% recommended.

The hubs and I went for a Valentine’s trip. It was like staying out in the middle of the woods. Every window was looking out into the trees. Kitchen was great for cooking during the day. The oven worked incredibly well. Although at night it was a bit dark in there. This home was terrific for our dog. There was a lot of room to run all over inside and out. The heater worked so well! I turned the small room into a heated yoga retreat. The bed in there was kind of small too, great for a child. King size bed was comfortable. Robyn sent for flannel sheets at my request. Master bath shower ultra strong. Hallway bath was good for hot baths. Perfect temperature right out of the tap. Couple of things we had to get used to were all the windows without coverings. Just 2 of the bedrooms had drapes. I usually close up all window coverings at night for warmth and coziness. The other thing was it looked like someone took off with the tv from the master bedroom. A little decorating is needed.

These hosts are SO nice and it is really such a pleasant and well maintained property in a beautiful location. the kitchenette works very well with a better working hood than many rentals with a full kitchen!

We had a brief but good stay at Mariah's place in Capitola. Mariah was extremely responsive when a storm caused a brief power outage (the apartment was hooked up to a generator so we barely noticed). The place was comfortable and well located, a short drive to shops and the beach (probably walkable but we dorve due to the heavy rains). We've stayed in Santa Cruz area 4 or 5 times in the past few years and this was the nicest place we've stayed and the best value by far. We would definitely book again when in the area.

The ADU was cozy and exactly as described, and one of the biggest highlights was that I could charge my Tesla right on the premises—a huge plus for any electric car driver. The host was responsive and made everything feel welcoming, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend this spot.

I was traveling to San Jose for work. This airbnb was great for a quick trip. I only used the airbnb for one night. It was a quiet neighborhood and the unit was very clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend for work travel and for comfortable accommodations.

My boyfriend and I spent our Valentine’s Day Weekend at this lovely cottage and we adored our time there! The garden is well maintained and so beautiful and peaceful to walk around. Kris, Lynn, and their sweet dogs were so welcoming and accommodating. Milo was also the most well behaved and gentle good boy and we enjoyed our time giving him belly rubs and head scratches during our mornings on the patio. We were so sad to leave and are looking forward to our next visit!

This place was perfect for my summer internship. There are lots of great restaurants nearby, and Elizabeth was extremely responsive and friendly!

There were absolutely no compromises or downside to this stay! I booked this Airbnb for my parents (both in their 80's) as their home away from home for a two month visit in Santa Cruz. Logistically, everything from the street level entry, one level living, shower with no step-up, sliding door off the bedroom to the park-like back yard, to the heated floors etc... made this an ideal place for them to live easily and comfortably. Pair that with the beautiful, idyllic location about a block from West Cliff Drive along Monterey Bay, & acute detail to comfort and this rental can't be beat! My mom walked miles everyday along Westcliff and picked up lunch a couple times a week from the fantastic & delicious oceanside walk-up restaurant Steamers. Both my parents enjoyed the amenities of the serene back yard with a grill, hot tub, picnic table, fire pit & cozy chairs. My parents come visit for a couple months every year and are excited about returning to this rental in early 2025!

We loved our stay. It’s a beautiful property, modern and with the amenities we needed especially a washer dryer. The hosts were very friendly and sweet and always responsive. The location was great for both downtown Los Gatos and downtown Saratoga restaurants and shopping. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.
