Cottage vacation rentals in Sanibel Island

We loved our stay here. The Enchanted Cottage is a cozy little oasis and perfect for a nature-lover like me! We loved taking the kayaks out on the river and seeing alligators, dolphins, and iguana. It was also a short walk into town for restaurants, bars, ice cream, and events in the park. Our dog loved visiting the Bonita dog beach. Taco Tuesday at Maria's is a must! We had such a relaxing stay. 8 days here was not enough and I hope to be back some day.

Séjour très agréable, calme une vrai vacance, belle maison propre, piscine et spa, et la maison était équipé de tout, rien ne manque. De très belles chambres avec des lits très confortables. La cour arrière donne sur un petit canal, de toute beauté de voir les bateaux passer, les gens nous salut. Très agréable. Tout est à proximité, épicerie, magasin, resto, la marina TARPON POINT à voir wow de wow tant la vue avec les bateaux que les restos succulent et les boutiques. A tout les samedis matin, à environ 10 minutes de la maison il y a un marché en pleine air, le Market Farm, super bien, et après à côté il y a le restaurant le Rusty’s pour le dîner belle terrasse. Et tout c’est endroit avec la possibilité d’amener votre chien. L’hôte Ingrid est très gentille, comique, et répond très rapidement à vos questions. C’est une maison à réserver. Tina was very responsive to our requests and messages. We were specifically looking for a place with a hot tub that was quite and private. The hot tub was good and clean. The house was clean and stocked for what we needed. The only constructive criticism I would offer is blackout curtains for the bedroom as the Wife likes to sleep in and it was difficult for her since the sun shines right in the bedroom at sunrise. It was fine for me as I am an early riser, but a curtain would be helpful to give the option for the weary traveler. I would also recommend a small step for entry and exit of the hot tub. Thankfully my legs are long enough I was able to get in and out, but it was a little challenging for my wife. Tina was very thoughtful with her suggestions of what to do locally and was quick with responses to any of my messages. We really enjoyed the place and if we are ever back in that part of the state we would absolutely rent this place again!

Nice space to stay for a get away, or if you are out of town working.

Had a wonderful stay during Christmas vacation 2024. Here are few things that worked for our family of four: -The house is spacious and clean with all basic amenities that we needed. -My teenage kids throughly enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub. -David and Irina were very friendly and responsive if we had any questions or concerns. - The location is great! It is 10-12 min walk to the Vanderbilt beach and Mercato area (upscale stores and restaurants area) - Quiet neighborhood - The beds were very comfortable with good pillows.

Great location!! Beds were great. Could use some updating. House was clean. Definitely when staying here you have to buy your own toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. We got there and used bathroom twice and had no toilet paper. Air conditioning works well. Lots of extra bedding and towels. We will definitely book agian. Also we really enjoyed the pool.

This was my first AirBnB booking and it was better than I expected! We had 6 adults on this trip and the house was perfect for us. We loved the location, the house was well stocked, and was plenty big for us all! Check-in was easy, we had no issues with anything, and would absolutely stay here again!

Clean and spacious inside with a large yard for dogs on a quiet street. I would definitely stay if I return to the area. 5 stars.

Michael and Lorna were super friendly and easy going but, at the same time, respected our privacy. The guesthouse was super clean with state-of-the-art appliances and had absolutely everything we needed to prepare our own meals in the beautiful kitchen. The pool area was gorgeous. The weather was on the cool side while we were there, so we didn't get in the water, but we loved sitting outside in the patio area enjoying the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. As an extra added bonus, they have two adorable puppies that were out a few times a day. We loved our extended stay at Las Tortugas Azules and would definitely consider staying there again if in the Naples area.

Alina’s house was perfect for our stay. It was clean, close to everything, easy to get to. Alina was a perfect host—responsive and flexible.

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Julia's cottage. It is in a beautiful setting with huge trees, yet minutes from groceries and conveniences. Walkable neighborhood. The house is spacious and airy and impeccably clean. Very nice decor which lends to the peaceful getaway feeling. We were there for a combo of remote work and birding and nature. It was very convenient for Sanibel, Corkscrew and dinner/beach in Naples. We loved Estero and hope to return next year.

My family spent Christmas at Kari's this year, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Her home was beautiful and clean, and it was decorated for the holidays, which was an amazing addition. It was perfect for my family of 6 people and 4 dogs. There is a beautiful fenced-in yard, which provided a great backdrop for my engagement! Would love to stay here again!

Beautiful Place to relax. Watch the sunrise in the back and easy walk to watch the Sunset in the evening.

This was our first time staying in a rental. The experience was amazing and easy. I will definitely stay in this home during our next visit to the Island.

This tini home is great! We had two very nice days - the area is super calm! Out neighbour was a gator - so don’t go for a swim 🫢🙂

This is a beautiful home. Well appointed and well maintained. Everything was spotless. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!! The host thought of almost everything. Kayaks, bicycles, pool towels, etc. My only recommendations for improvement would be facial tissues and fans for sleeping. That’s it! That’s all I could think of.

We had a great stay. The cottage was very clean. The location was convenient to activities. Vita was always quick to respond and helpful . We would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay here on Pine Island. The home and the yard around the home was so peaceful. You are far enough away from neighbors next door that you don't hear them. People across the canal were very friendly and always said good morning when I was out on the pier drinking my coffee. The island itself was amazing and driving from one end to the other took about 25 min. There are a lot of great hiking spots at the different preserves you can go to. There's also the Calusa Historical trail which was cool. An important thing to note is that there is no beach on the island, there are a few spots to put your feet in the water but no actual beach. We knew this when we booked and had scheduled in a beach day trip to Sanibel Island which is about 1.5 hours away when it's busy. Matlacha is a town on an island in between Pine Island and Cape Coral which has a bunch of cute shops but is still recovering from the hurricane. Overall we had an amazing trip and can't wait to come back

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit bei Mike. Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend. Es war alles sehr sauber. Küchenutensilien wie z.B. Gewürze, Kaffee, Wasser waren vorhanden. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Besonders gut hat uns der beheizte Pool gefallen. Mike hat uns Fischfutter hingestellt, damit wir die Enten und Schildkröten füttern konnten. Der Ausblick auf den kleinen See war toll. Supermärkte sind in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit Mike war sehr gut. Das Haus ist eine absolute Empfehlung. Wenn wir wieder in Florida sind, kommen wir wieder!

Friendly owners, private location and a clean place to stay. All you could really ask for. If ever in Fort Meyers again, I would certainly look to come here first.
