Jill's Chalet Boden is a real gem. The space was comfortable with everything we needed, and plenty of space for 4 people. The views were all beautiful, ranging from picturesque views of the wooded hill to breathtaking views of the mountains and the town in the valley below. The town is cute without being touristy, and the townspeople are very friendly. There's a lot to do within driving distance. Milan and Lake Come are a little over an hour away. Lago Maggiore, along with a couple of smaller and less touristy, though no less beautiful, lakes are a 15 minute drive. I only have two caveats. First, it's not handicapped accessible. The path to the house from the road, while short and not particularly arduous, would be unnavigable for my 87 year old mother, which is a shame as she would absolutely adore this place. You also need a car. Public transportation isn't really an option. But if you can walk reasonably well and have a car, Chalet Boden is amazing. A week wasn't enough.

Staying in your Baita was exactly what we wanted! The location and views are truly stunning. There is an incredible tranquility, only the creek and the animals can be heard. A perfect place to slow down and let nature take over. Very authentic and simple, and yet basics such as hot water and stove are available. The fact that you could make a fire in the house was particularly nice for us, also the heating of the water with fire was a great experience. Thank you, Claudio e Patrizia, for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin - we'd love to come back!

We were at Flavia's house for a weekend in November and we had a great time with my wife and two children. The house is very nice, clean and tidy and it has all the appliances in the kitchen. The rooms are well equipped and all the details are well cared for. A great detail is the terrace, which has a spectacular view of Lake Lugano, you literally have the lake in front of you, there is a grill with a very nice atmosphere for BBQs. Many thanks to Flavia and her husband for her hospitality and kindness, we totally recommend this house.

We had a great time between services offered, cleanliness and care of the spaces. Beautiful surprise to be a stone's throw from the beginning of a path immersed in the woods (perhaps present in the description but escape when booking). The country is well-stocked and is more than adequate to stay even multiple days.

Wonderfully located right on the edge of the forest to feel comfortable. Plenty of space in the house and garden. We really enjoyed the very quiet location with great views of the Lago and the surrounding mountains. The nearest larger places can be reached in a few minutes by car including a supermarket, restaurants, weekly market. There were six of us and there was plenty of room for everyone's needs. No creaking beds or floorboards - we slept very well! Very well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and two bathrooms. For us, it was an all-round beautiful neighborhood, which we can highly recommend.

Il Poggio in the heart of woods

The accommodation and Michela are simply great. It is just important that you are aware of a few points. The accommodation is not in Como City. They is above Como on a hill. The roads to the accommmodation are narrow and rocky. The accommodation is located in the forest and animals also live there. Some of them are active at night. It is the perfect place for guests who just want to switch off and enjoy nature and don't need 5G net. I would not recommend this place for city people. A huge thank you again to Michela for the wonderful time. The little boy also really enjoyed it. He still talks about this vacation every day. We hope of a next time with you and your dogs.
