House vacation rentals in San Saba

This was a wonderful place to stay. The bathrooms and kitchens were beautiful. (Well stocked and clean.) There was a fantastic, well-lit, cozy area to read, and plenty of privacy for our family. We hope to stay here again each time we visit our family in Bluffton. I cannot wait to stay here in the summer to enjoy the pool. My favorite thing about this home was that there were not any bugs or cobwebs. They keep this home incredibly clean!

Thunderbird Lodge is a great place to stay for large groups. The unit has 5 bedrooms and a big common area. The kitchen has a lot of counterspace. The area is about 10 minutes from Burnet.

Came for a work trip and this property was such a great place to relax after the day. The house had comfortable furniture and beds. Everything was laid out nicely and worked well. Host was quick to respond when I had any questions. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The back deck was awesome and had great views. Would definitely be back.

My kids and I loved this house. I have a daughter who's 6 and a son, who's almost 15 and he really enjoyed the third bedroom gave him a sense of independence. It was such a nice layout. The bathtub is amazing.Super cozy a great vacation stay!

Debby was a wonderful host. Very helpful with clear instructions about the Airbnb particulars and check-in and check-out. The mid-century modern decor was so fun! And the “tree top” feel and beautiful views of the lake were very enjoyable! My grandkids really enjoyed the swimming pool! We had a wonderful stay!

What an amazing property! The house is darling...completely renovated with every modern amenity, yet embodying all the original charm of an older farmhouse. It is beautifully decorated throughout, and has extremely comfortable beds and high end white noise machines in all the bedrooms. The grounds of the property were immaculately manicured, and we spent hours sitting around the beautiful fire pit enjoying the peaceful serenity of the setting. The pool looked awesome, although we didn't get a chance to swim. I wish we could have stayed longer! Communication with the host was great, and they made sure we had everything we needed during our short stay. What a gem! We will be back for sure!

Overall stay meet our expectations. From easy to get to, parking, very clean, had everything in kitchen to bathrooms we all would go back to place. Hoping lake will have water by then. Heather was accesible either by phone or text. No complaints from all of us. We enjoyed our stay.

Great pre-holiday stay on the lake! Beautiful location and a comfortable, well-decorated home. The lake views and big picture windows were great. So peaceful sitting out and watching geese and gulls, herons and osprey fly by. Heather thought of everything with the many available amenities and games at the house. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the fully stocked kitchen, personalized welcome sign and the Christmas decorations. The place was super spacious. Our family of 8 had plenty of room to spread out. There was a steep driveway and a walk down to the lake and over rocks to get to the dock, but neither were any problem at all. The only minor issue was that I didn’t realize ahead of time the WiFi out in the country had limitations. We’re a screen and streaming-loving family, one of whom had trouble with some work he needed to finish online. But overall , it was a great stay!

We loved our stay! The home is beautiful and has a big back yard. The sun room was also perfect!

Tosha’s home was the perfect place for us. We had 6-8 women staying in the home, and though we didn’t need it, the large dining/living room seating could accommodate at least 14-16 for a central meeting space for a day learning setting. The view was great, and this would also be a perfect family home for lake fun. The best part was having a clean home with 3 full bathrooms! Thank you, Tosha!

We spent Labor Day weekend at this stunning home, and it was an incredible experience! The house was absolutely perfect.

This by far is one of the best rental houses ever stayed in. Updated modern house with all amenities. Very spacious for families and Julie is always there if needed anything. When I go back I will be staying there. Highly recommend staying at any property Mrs Julie has.

Second time here and still a great getaway for the down time needed in between work days out in Lometa. Very responsive host and a charming and cozy retreat to make you feel at home!

We had the sweetest stay! As a family of 5 it was a cozy and great location for distraction-free time together! Hattie was very helpful and her cottage was just what we needed! We enjoyed the surrounding state park for hiking adventures.

This is our second time staying here and we loved it just as much as the first time! The host is very sweet and responds quickly if you have any questions! The road coming in was great…no potholes and very smooth! Saw lots of bunnies, birds and a few deer driving in! We will be staying again!! So peaceful and family friendly!

This property is a lakefront property, but the lake is dried up for a while now, but there’s still the Colorado river. Just a nice walk across the dry lake very peaceful neighborhood very clean and safe. Peace and quiet. Will stay here again.
