Ski-in/out vacation rentals in San José Province

Staying at Daniela & Carmen’s house was a wonderful experience. The view from their back porch is awesome, and their hospitality is even better. It was a true, local, hosted experience (what AirBnb was founded on)! The house is up on a steep hill, but it’s in a great, cozy location; totally worth it for the views and cool breezy weather. It was a very comfortable, economical accommodation, just as their listing had described. Also, Carmen is a great cook, very caring, and was super patient with my mediocre Spanish! Daniela was an awesome host; she communicated really well about logistics, was flexible with my shifting plans, and was super friendly. I would stay with them again in a heartbeat.

This familly has been so amazing, very attentive to my needs and so kind. Despite the barrage of our languages they were adorable! I recommended a lot this Airbnb. I have beautiful memories of our meeting. Thank you !

Very good place, highly recommended, excellent hospitality

I had an amazing stay at Adriana's place. The space was spotless, I had access to the kitchen which was equipped with everything I needed. The room is quiet, private and has everything you need, and if not simply asking they will provide it. Location is convenient as you have a super across the streetand restaurants, cafes, and shops just a short walk away. Adriana's family were incredible hostes, her husband and daugthers were always supportive and cordial. I highly recommend Adriana's place to anyone visiting the area.

Great place for what I needed—a peaceful space to rest before my early morning flight. Leyla and her husband were amazing and so kind. Even though the other rooms were close in proximity of mine, you couldn’t hear anything at all, and the bed and space were incredibly comfortable. I’ll be coming back in a week on my way home, and I can’t wait to stay here again!

This place was much better than expected. The rooms were incredibly clean. There was a great pool and jacuzzi on the property as well. This place is also well gated which made us feel very safe. Wild definitely recommend staying here for a place to stay if you’re going through the airport!

We stayed here one night and our time was MUCH too short. We are already planning to return for a longer time. It is perfect for a couple or a family and even for a small group. A stay for one night or one month, this place is perfect. A stay for one couple or one family, or for a larger group, this place is perfect. It is an excellent place to enter and leave the country, since it is close to the airport, and it is an excellent place to use as your base as you explore the surrounding area. It is also an excellent place to stay and be relaxed and refreshed. And, the customer service is excellent. Manual is very responsive and helpful and his staff are kind, thoughtful and very good at making guests feel cared for and at home.

Juan's place is great value. I enjoyed the amenities, location and decore of the place! The bed is huge and super comfortable. A rarity in most Airbnbs in Costa Rica. Juan was readily available to answer questions and offer suggestions and the check in process was smooth. I will definitely stay here again.

This cabin has state of the art appliances! We so appreciated the Nija for morning smoothy. The wrap around balcony allows you to watch birds in the jungle that is just a few feet away from the house on all sides. This place is private. The drive in goes through a tunnel of lush and then empties into a carport under the house. Super private. The carport itself has a sink and hose and cleaning supplies. Inside the cabin there are windows in every direction. Birdwatchers you will love it because you don’t have to venture out. Solid furniture, simple non-clutter living space. Getting there you go through a few houses that are very well kept. River close by.
