Beachfront vacation rentals in San José Island

This is our new favorite home in Port A. There was plenty of space and beds for our crew, we were very comfortable. We loved the outdoor shower and the kids loved the second living room with their own tv. The washer and dryer so nice to have with lots of kids in tow. We would happily stay here again.

Victor was amazing!! We had originally booked when Beryl was hitting and he let us reschedule, and then when I selected the wrong weekend he let me reschedule again!! Truly so kind he, also was flexible on his one dog rule and let us bring both of our dogs!! It was a wonderful stay, and the outdoor communal dock area for that condo was a lot of fun to be on, with great fishing!! 12/10 will stay again

This listing was just as described! Walkable to the beach using the boardwalk, lots of local places to eat and shop. The location is amazing! The house was great for our group of 9. Ample space, so clean and incredibly maintained! The host was so responsive and after a previously failed air bnb this host worked so quick to get us set up and get us checked in quickly and helped us make the most of the rest of our trip. Would book here every time!

Lovely house for couples and a good location near the beach.

“The Fish” condo was absolutely perfect! It was adorable on the inside as well as the outside! It was homey, cute, comfortable and CLEAN. Lots of towels were provided, as well as shampoo, conditioner and soap (and a million other things). The kitchen was fully stocked as well which made life easier! There’s also a washer, dryer and a dishwasher and LOTS of windows for natural light. As cute as the inside was, I couldn’t get over how dreamy the grounds were! They had games to play as well as tables to sit around and outdoor couches. It would be the perfect place to stay if you wanted to go with a group of people, but still have your own space/condo. The location was one block from the beach entrance to drive on with your car, and 5-7 minutes to the best restaurants, shopping and the ferry. The host was communicative and SO kind! It was the perfect place all around, and my husband and I are already wanting to go back!

This is a great home to get away from it all! It has great wifi. Its very quiet and peaceful. You can walk around the neighborhood freely with hardly any traffic to worry about. Martha and her husband are beyond nice and actively help make your stay everything you want it to be! The house has everything you could possibly need to live there. I highly recommend this place!

I think this was the best AirBnb we’ve ever stayed at. First, the location in amazing- SO worth it to be right by the beach, the boardwalk is literally out the back door and you can walk right down to the ocean! And the beach was clean, no trash. Besides that it was beautiful inside and better stocked with dishes/utensils/towels than my own house! Beds were comfortable. All bedrooms had their own sound machine! Jessica was a wonderful host; we had issues with loud guests next door and reached out to her because of quiet hours and she took it very seriously, contacted the owner of that house, was so understanding and accommodating; and no more problems with the neighbors after that! A few of the beautiful decorations were fragile (and we have a curious one year old) so we just set them up on the counters. Also loved that provided laundry detergent was fragrance free and no strong smells/fragrances in the house! Just a great experience!

We enjoyed the ease of getting around P.A. Easy access to the beach, used the pickleball court, we appreciated the sand toys available on the porch. Comfortable, well stocked kitchen and we appreciated the blankets available. Clean and well maintained. Thank you.

This accommodation was exactly what we were looking for: quiet, clean, and comfortable! Well-furnished and stocked with necessities, our stay was seamless and stress-free. The accommodations were also spacious and capable of housing plenty of people. Travis was very proactive, thoughtful, and responsive with messages. Would definitely recommend to others and would re-book next time we are in the area!

We felt right at home in the very clean condo, comfy beds and nice linens, plenty of towels, well equipped kitchen and very pretty, comfortable and sturdy furniture! This floor plan worked great for our very large, 4 generation family! Mark and Rose are very kind and attentive hosts and we hope to stay again!

Great place to stay. I would highly recommend it. Newly remodeled unit, and had everything we needed and more. Pool was even bigger and nicer than the pics. We will definitely stay again!

Very family friendly. Really didn’t need to bring anything but food. We were able to relax because the kids found things to do while just hanging at the house. Would recommend and definitely would stay again

We are 2 couples that vacation every October in Port A. Having stayed in many Port A rentals (and previously owned a rental in Port A) Sean's condo is the perfect location, very spacious, nice updated kitchen (although lacking any food storage bowls) and super clean. I will say, the secondary bath rooms do need to be updated. (Don't know about the primary bath, we stayed in the second bedroom). The shower head in the hall bath is super low, my husband is just under 6 feet tall and the water hit him at chest level. Handheld would work better. Toilets are older/low and didn't flush completely...every single time. The 3rd bath toilet is in a very crowded space and the toilet paper holder kept falling down. The couches were not very comfortable, but I get it...it's a rental and furniture takes a beating. The hallway outside the door is super dark and extremely hard to see to unlock the door when we would come back at night. That's not Sean's fault, that's on the builder...

This condo was exactly as pictured and described! We have zero complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our weekend! Great location, safe, right by the pool, and a lovely walk to the beach! Absolutely will be booking again!

Great location close to beach. Well stocked kitchen and there was lots of beach chairs, toys and towels for us. Host was responsive and easy to work with. The condo is in a nice location with easy access to Corpus Christi and Port Aransas. I recommend this place.

This is a gorgeous home located on a beautiful beach and golf community. The home is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you might need for a vacation. It is obvious that the owner has taken great pride in the details that make this home a special place to stay. We had a group of 8 ladies and we had plenty of space to spread out. The boardwalk is just across the street making it very convenient to get to the beach. Our 3 day stay was negatively affected when on the second day, the AC went out on the main area, where the master bedroom is also located. After a bit of difficulty getting in touch with the management group and their several attempts to fix the AC it was found to be a part that wasn’t available until Monday. With the community having 2 beautiful pools we hung out there instead of spending time in a hot house. The management group worked with us and a resolution was agreed upon. We realize this unfortunate situation was unpredictable. We had a great time,

We enjoyed the place so much, we've almost got our next trip to Mark's booked. Exactly what we needed for a peaceful, restful, delicious food, four day get away. Mark's place is terrific - highly recommended. Even the goodies in welcome bag were helpful.

My family and I rented this place for our family Thanksgiving trip and it was an absolute beach-goers paradise. If you’re looking for a private, on the beach, nostalgic getaway: this is the place.

My husband and I stayed here for Valentine's weekend. The home is amazing and within 5 minutes of the beach. The host was extremely nice and helpful and kept us up to date on everything. Also, if you get a chance to rent their golf cart, do it! We will definitely check this place first on our travels back to Port A.
