Cabin vacation rentals in San Jose

My son and I just spent four days at Gracie's cabin in La Honda, and it surpassed all expectations. The setting is stunning and incredibly peaceful, nestled among trees and ferns. The cabin was spotless and impeccably maintained. While we didn't spend much time cooking, the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary appliances and plenty of snacks. Gracie was prompt and effective in her communication. I would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to the area.

We had a great weekend at Emkay’s cabin! Loved the peace and quiet, the fact that our dog was welcomed, and the hot tub was an added bonus! Perfect place to stay for what we needed. Emkay was very responsive and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Our stay in Soquel was perfect! We enjoyed our small cozy cabin, as well as soaking in the hot tub during the night and looking up at the stars. The property is private and beautiful. Emkay was a terrific host, and was always easy to contact with any questions we had. We were even surprised with a bottle of rosé, which was so sweet. I would definitely come back and stay here again!

A great place to unwind

Lovely cabin close to Henry Cowell Redwoods state park, as well as other state parks near Santa Cruz. The town of Felton has plenty of amenities. All of this made for a very easy and relaxed vacation.

Wonderful stay! There are neighbors but they are far enough away that you still have peaceful solitude. Location is only a short drive to Santa Cruz, so we enjoyed exploring the area and coming back to this cozy cabin in the redwoods. Loved that the bathroom floor was heated! Comfy bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. House was extremely clean!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Coach House! If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and out of the ordinary for a weekend getaway- this is the place. Toni had clear and thoughtful instructions, both on the app and inside the cabin. I’d recommend checking in during the daytime if it’s your first time on highway 17. Thankfully it wasn’t our first rodeo and we were able to find the place at night without too much trouble. There’s a lot to explore around the property, including horses, goats, wild deer, etc. I’d recommend to anyone that wanted to stay near the Santa Cruz/Los Gators area! :)

Our stay at this Tranquil Mountain Retreat was absolutely perfect, especially the outdoor patio with the gas fire pit. Nestled among the trees, it was the ideal spot to relax—whether we were enjoying our morning coffee or unwinding under a star-filled sky. It was super easy to use and added instant warmth and ambiance, making it feel magical as we listened to the peaceful sounds of the forest. Inside, the cabin was just as inviting. The romantic electric fireplace created a warm, cozy glow that made the space feel extra special. And the heated bathroom floors? Pure luxury! Stepping onto warm tiles after a shower or early morning was such a treat, adding an extra layer of comfort to our stay. The entire space was beautifully designed, immaculately clean, and well-stocked. While we loved exploring the surrounding scenic drives and trails, we found ourselves spending most of our time soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of the patio and cozying up by the fire place. Absolutely stunning home and we had an amazing stay.

Came to Brooke's cabin as a much needed respite from a remodeling project. Intentionally I had planned to stay a week but because this darling cabin was exactly what I needed, that week turned into a month! The space was modern and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the large front deck. The huge surrounding Redwoods provide a view through every window and lots of privacy. I couldnt have asked for a better host; if I was in need of anything,Brooke was quick to respond with consideration and kindness. Because my companion in all this was my 9mo old Corgi, I also appreciated that the entirety of the property is fenced. If you're thinking of visiting our incredible Redwoods in N. Ca., Brooke's space is a perfect option: inviting, peaceful, quiet and central to everything to do and see in the area.Although back in my own home again, I will actually miss Brooke's sweet cabin in the woods-it became my home away from home.

The place is beautiful and extremely peaceful, but the highlight of the stay was Mary. She's so sweet and down to earth. She was more than accommodating and I wish all my future hosts are as great as she is.

I recently stayed at this lovely Airbnb, and from the moment I arrived, the host made me feel incredibly welcome and went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful—serene and peaceful, in a tranquil atmosphere. If you’re looking for a relaxing retreat with a wonderful host, this is the place for you!

Really enjoyed our stay!

The Cabin was incredible! Breathtaking views and fully stocked game room for kids and those young at heart. The bedrooms had good quality beds and linen. The bathroom was clean and modern with a large quantity of towels. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were able to cook delicious meals. Ernesto was proactive in communicating and alerted us when we accidentally turned off the timed lights outside. Our family of 12 had memorable moments in The Cabin during our stay in the Fall, and we recommend it to anyone wanting to have the ‘cabin in the woods’ experience.

I stayed here while visiting my daughter. She joined me. We loved our stay. It’s a sweet house surrounded by beautiful forest. There’s a lovely outdoor space and the house is outfitted with everything you might need. Robin was incredibly responsive and checked in to ensure we were comfortable. Getting to the center of Santa Cruz was easy. We will absolutely stay again. We loved it.

The Cottage under the Redwoods was wonderfully clean and cozy. The hosts are terrific. It is my favorite place to stay when I am away from home.

We loved staying here! There were lots of toys and bedding for our baby girl. There was a lot that was included when we got there like snacks. Great place!

Kathleen was amazing host, super sweet, helpful, and communicated often! Boulder creek is a lovely area, Fern Cottage is located so close to many wonderful activities. We loved our stay!

It was perfect! Everything as described so comfortable! My granddaughter begged to come over as it was so beautiful. Then told her Dad he had to see it as is was so beautiful! Living room very roomy, we played board game plenty of space. Bathroom was clean nicely decorated. The bath mat is very soft and warm Bedroom had a nice desk closet large. Best was the bed was actually comfortable. I give Rajesh’s home 5 stars for getting this right! New appliances through out it was like a home in a magazine. First time I stayed at a place with so much comfort. We will definitely go back when we are traveling to see our family.
