Pet-friendly vacation rentals in San Francisco

Fantastic stay! We wish we had more time to enjoy it. Due to a delayed flight, we arrived after midnight, went to bed at 2 AM, and had to leave by 9 AM—but even in that short time, we loved it. Perfect for our family of five, super comfortable, and sleeping with the backyard door open was amazing. Everything was spotless and cozy. It's a great spot for a quick stay before a flight or when arriving late in town. The hosts were incredibly helpful and gave excellent recommendations. We’ll definitely be back! 5 star all around

It is a very beautiful house, it is located in an ultra accessible and comfortable place. Rocio is very friendly and communication with her was quick and accessible. One of the airbnbs that I would recommend.

Very spacious traditional home 2 blocks from Alajuela Cathedral and close to multiple restaurants. Clean, serene with an internal courtyard, and just what we needed after a long, multi-segment international flight into San Jose airport

We are blown away by the hospitality of Ursula and her husband, Erick. The home and property are beautiful and are in a safe, quiet, gated community. We also enjoyed seeing Guadi, the pet peacock. He was not bothersome at all and the chirping birds native to the area were so beautiful to hear each morning. What especially blew us away was Ursula’s husband , who actually spent the day taking us around the area of Sarchi. He gave us some history of Costa Rica, and took us to a bunch of small shopping areas/factories that create much of the art pieces seen around the area, which are a great part of the countries culture, history, and goods you will see in all the souvenir/tourist areas. Such a great experience and what a lovely person he was. The only bit of advice I will offer is to make sure you look over the house manual because Ursula offers a lot of good information that we wish we had took the time to review our first evening at the house, prior to attempting to order uber eats

Wonderful Stay for a Birthday Celebration! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Giulio’s Airbnb to celebrate my birthday, and I can't express enough how amazing the experience was! From the moment we arrived, Giulio made us feel welcome and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was beautifully maintained, with all the amenities we could ask for. It provided the perfect backdrop for our special celebration. What truly stood out was Giulio’s generosity in extending our check-out time. This thoughtful gesture allowed us to relax and enjoy our final morning without the rush, making our birthday celebration even more memorable. This place is amazing with the view and peaceful area. The fireplace was an added blessing. The caretaker Francisco was the best ever and always ready to help if necessary. Will definitely go back

Our second time staying at Laura and Verny’s house and would happily stay again. It feels like home, and we love going to el arca to eat and see the botanical garden which is right up the street from the house. Beautiful views and comfortable space. Laura and Verny are great hosts who make it very easy to stay at their beautiful home that Verny built himself!

Great place to stay in. It makes you feel that you are safe and secure. The apartment is in a great and centralized location, where you can get to within walking distance, very quiet and peaceful. Also the building is close to La Savana and the National Football Stadium. I recommend this place to anyone.

Great building in a very modern area of San Jose steps away from all the action. Host is very friendly and always very responsive for whatever you may need. Definitely recommend.

i loved the privacy of the place the pool just for us, the sound of the birds in the mornings and in the afternoon the chicharras... the place is very spacious there are also two very friendly and polite dogs... it is very close to the city but surrounded by Nature... everything very good just a few things to improve all the dishes had dust and there was a cockroach in the spoons, no plastic containers for snacks or for children, in the blanket and in the closet they made mouse feces, there were no bathroom rugs,shampo,napkins or kitchen towels... the shower of the secondary room does not close completely and passes dripping all day, it's just a matter of improving in cleaning and utensils likewise I would come back because it is very private and close to the city. the host's attention and response is very quick and very friendly

Jorge is incredible, our flight from Panama to Costa Rica had mechanical difficulties so we didn't get to Costa Rico until 10:30 p.m. After picking up a rental (which I highly recommend if you are staying here) it was after midnight. We had some difficulty finding the house Jorge came out to meet us rather than just do directions. The house was very comfortable and the bathroom including the amenities were fabulous!

Stayed 2 months and 10 days at the wooden cabin, and I was genuinely saddened to leave. It was actually hard for me to leave this place. Abel is literally a problem solver. He jumps right in when problems arise to come up with solutions. Enjoy his sense of humor in Spanish, if you can. Spent Xmas dinner with this man and the kindest volunteer at the farm, and I wouldn't trade my end-of-year plans with anyone for anything. It was all perfect as it was. There's a beautiful community living there. Treat yourself to seclusion with a nice, clean, private swimming pool by a short walk to a waterfall and the river. Living here is a gift. Thanks, Brenda, for the humble care of the horses, the plants, and the garden. Thanks, above all, for sharing your property ;) All the best to you all!

Very accommodating, we have already booked with Kevin twice, fits perfectly with late arrival or early departure time. Very safe, also the car is parked inside and secured with a gate

Great place! The view is beautiful, the cabin is very equipped and large. It has very good lighting. An improvement point can be the quality of the internet, as it does not reach the entire cabin and is quite slow.

As a host myself, I can tell you that you will not find a more responsive Host then Fernando As he lives next door So with Couple issues I've had He was very quick to respond And do fix the situation. So I am confident that he will be a great host And I recommend the place if you have any business to do around there as it is a quiet spot and there's a swimming pool 50 ft in front of The door. best of luck Fernando keep up the good work
